Bad service! I went to get my truck and I was waiting 10 min there for the service, so when finally get the service my card doesnβt work so I call someone to come down and help me with another card and i told that service guy there to hold the truck for me and he said yes! But after 5 min he said sorry I have to give the truck to other person! I said I have reservations and Iβm here first and he donβt care and I walk out side with not truck! Very bad! Not recommend at all! This is the second time that happen to me in the same store!

Harry was friendly and courteous. Picking up the vehicle was easy enough. Dropping it off and trying to use the software was not. Theres an issue if you dont have enough memory but it does use location sharing so Uhaul knows its on location. There should be another way to check in or youll pay $20 extra. They should alert the customer of the grace period and the commercial rate if over 100 miles.
Great location, always accommodating, and willing to help. Have rented several trailers from them and it is always an easy process. This last visit, I rented a trailer and pulled around back to have them hook it up and it started pouring down rain. The gentleman was still hooking up the trailer in the rain. Great people over there!
In person customer service is great,Online only after you get an agent.Website kept telling me that zip code was wrong.So I had to talk in person.Thankfully the agents are available to assist.One star deduction for online issues.

Be cautious they UPCHARGE!!! Reserved a truck to move a sofa, love seat and rug. Spoke to the employee at the facility and she reserved the truck (cargo van). We discussed what I was moving and she insisted this was the truck I needed. Once I arrived to pick up the truck it was determined that both pieces of very large furniture would not fit in the van. The person at U-Haul told me they did not have any of the 10 foot box trucks (there were 4 in the lot) and that I had to take a 15 foot truck. I said fine but I should only pay for the 10 as the U-Haul employee had misinformed me, the manager was called and they said I could drive all over Ft. Lauderdale to look for a 10 foot truck or take the 15 foot truck for the additional cost. Clearly their only way to upcharge. Despicable behavior. Horrible customer service. In the end the $19.99 truck I was supposed to get cost me over $80 and when we returned it there were still several of the 10 foot trucks.
The absolute best U-Haul location Iβve ever been too! Always very quick and attentive service. We rented a truck last weekend and the check-in process could not have been faster. This is very much appreciated when we have a full day of moving ahead of us! Iβve been in other times to purchase boxes/various supplies and the service is always quick. Very impressed with this location and will certainly be back.

I made a reservation when I go there to get the van it was smell like an ashtray. It was smell horrible cigarette smell worse is the guy who work there has an attitude. It was bad experience and definitely need better staff there that who appreciate working. I hope manager of this place consider it.
When I placed the order online I asked for no coverage. When I picked up the truck I said again no coverage. After I returned the truck they sent me an email with the bill. They billed me Safe Move Coverage $14. I had to spend 10 min on hold on the phone to ask them to reimburse me.

Your company is a scam....you always have the most expensive ones at the desk...5 minutes later i go online and the cheapest is all of sudden available....also...why do i need to send a picture of my ID...over the internet...cant i just do that a check in.....your company is a SCAM
Truck was clean and new. Only 4,000 miles in it. Representative was helpful and kind. Pick up and drop off was quick and easy. I highly recommend this place and I will rent again from here if I need again.

DO NOT USE THIS U-HAUL. We reserved (and confirmed) a 21 truck a week in advance β only to show up and told sorry we do not have your truck. When I asked the manager for help tracking down another truck at a different location..he told us to call the 800 number and rudely moved on the next customer. I had to reschedule our movers last minute which cost me money. DO NOT USE THIS U-HAUL.
Ive been using this uhaul branch for years and always had 5 stars customer care. Equipments are perfect for all moving sizes and prices are fair. This branch in particular offer an extended moving store and installation shop for hitches. Employees are quick friendly and professional. Ill always come back.
We spend over $ 11,000 dollars per year renting trucks. The manager of this location, Harry, should be fired and management should come in and reorganize the entire location. He is extremely rude with a I do not care about you attitude. Disrespectful is the best way to describe this manager. If I had someone like that in my business my doors would be closed. I am tired of picking up VERY dirty trucks and passenger seats with seat belts that do not work. This is not the first time we have had problems with U-haul. Also, the location at 1124 West Sunrise did not even clean the last truck we picked-up. It had broken glass and screws in the back. Also, the cab was dirty with food and other things. Again, the seat belt did not work and which jeopardizes my staff. Upon returning the vehicle the manager charged us for a cleaning fee for the bad condition he gave it to us.We will now be going back to Penske, where the service is better and the trucks are cleaner.

Rented a truck and a van to move and both ran well and staff was very friendly and pleasing to go there.
We rented a truck at 7am in the morning and the General Manager greeted us and was extremely friendly. He made the process extremely easy and quick. When we walked outside to pickup our truck even the driver/helper greeted us with a smile. We will definitely be renting from this UHaul only moving forward.
1. Store personal gave me wrong key from other truck. i have to walk back and forth to get assigned equipment.2. Store personal did mentioned about inspection as i get damaged equipment. Have to walk back and forth to indicate a damages.3. on a parking a lot of rental trucks and trailers that block free path. Store personal did not pull truck thru backyard to free pick-up area. i have to do tied maneuvering between trucks in Inches to get out parking back yard and have to go back and forth to get some from office to move obstructive equipment.4. Truck had a shifting problem. Transmission would not shift upper gears on a road and cause terrible fuel consumption and driving experience. Transmission requires repair in 17 truck.
Had a hitch installed. They were extremely friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this location. Since they are so great they tend to be busy. But thats a good thing.

I rented a cargo van yesterday evening for a few hours and when I dropped off and came home I realized I left an expensive knife that I used to cut the rope. Along with 2 towels, I called first thing in the morning (7:45) and spoke to Harry who advised me that he did see the knife and threw it away along with other trash left behind. I told him I was calling to pick up the knife, towels left (and rope). He said it looked like trash and the dumpster truck already picked it up.I was first surprised with his attitude as well as that he threw it away, no policy where you might put somewhere for 12-24 hours? Im sure he knew the quality of the knife and did not throw away. I do not believe that the dumpster truck was already picked up by 0700....I used Uhaul for all my moving as well as when I shop for big items and need a truck/van and truly disappointed. Will use Budget or another company for future reservations.
They treated me abusively. Frank Grau, the owner, and Harry, the manager both enjoyed name-calling, insulting, and threatening. They quote an all inclusive price, refusing to provide the price in writing. Then, there is nickel-and-diming with a very low miles limit included, an environmental fee, changing the story by saying that the sales tax was not included in the quote, and raising the price for pads and dollys. The First Two times I was in the store, Frank sat there staring and not saying anything. When I came to pick up the truck, I asked Harry politely to do something about the price increases. Harry became abusive. He called me a jerk, cursed, and wanted to know where I worked so that he could harass me there. Frank was sitting there, staring. I told Frank I wanted to deal with someone else. Frank told Harry to call the police and have me removed. The offensive behavior continued as Harry told my wife that she was a nice person, unlike me. When I called Uhaul to complain, they promised me a call after the weekend. Harry rewrote the contract on my wifes name. When she asked, What happens if my husband drives the truck, Harry replied, thats on you. Meaning, there could be a problem if I was not registered with Uhaul to drive the truck, and he did not care.

The owner/manager of the company had zero people skills . He told me rentals were 24 hours. I told him I didnt need it for 24 hours maybe just a few hours and he replied the price would be the same and that was fine . Then he asked me to commit to an exact time 2 to 3 hours from now when I would bring it back and if I took longer and the two or three hours he would charge me for an extra day . Hey rushed me through paperwork and told me when I signed paperwork it clearly says if I bring the truck back and there are issues he is always right and I am not . This is really arrogant and rude and I wouldnt give this man my money again . I felt no trust there .
Ive used this U-Haul service center several times. Every time they have been efficient, professional and a pleasure to deal with. They are not the closest place for me to use, but its worth it to me to have a no hassle and easy rental.

1 star... only because I wasnt sure if 0 stars was an option. Not only have I been to this U-Haul location Im a customer of U-Haul and unfortunately this particular U-haul Center for Storage and Truck Rental. Suffice it to say that whatever youre told on the phone from U-Haul customer service you will be disappointed with the outcome when you get to this location and get the reality. Customer service at this location is a joke. They are rude judgemental vulgar and more than happy to show you just how little they think of their customers. Now for the facilities, the air-conditioned in side units are not air conditioning in the unit itself, no lighting in side the storage space, and it is damp and moldy due to its location below the water table along side a canal. Do yourself a favor if you need storage facilities in Wilton Manors going across the bridge just a couple blocks past the U-Haul location . One of their competitors in storage with professional facility, staff and service.

Excellent staff. Great service. I learned the hard wayπ±. Made a reservation with their competitor B a week in advance. Got s call 12 hours before I was due to pick up truck. No truck plus rude treatment. I was literally told, oh well I lose too. Called a few UHauls, each was professional and genuinely sorry they couldnt help. The third call came with immediate action and the solution. The experience was top notch. Not ONE complaint. Lesson learned.

Booked online a week earlier and my truck was ready when I arrived. Moving is stressful enough without having to wait on a reservation. Ive used this location over the years. No problems for me.

The staff screwed up my reservation and did not have the truck I reserved at the desire time. They offer me a much larger truck at a similar price, however I do not feel comfortable driving a 15 truck and ask for some other compensation. My solution was that I would wait until 6 pm and get the truck I wanted if they would split the cost of a $20 tv box. The manager looked me straight in the eye, snicjered and smuggly said absolutely not, we arent doing that... I said Really? This how you talk to customers after YOU screwed up an order ? Ill go to buget.Skip this branch of uhaul if you would like to be treated with respect and not talked down to like a child. I suppose uhaul doesnt screen for professionalism when they hire managers.

They closed at 7pm I got there at 650pm she told me I had to to a check in my self they was closing in 10 mins I think next time I will he choose another rental company
