I went to get a quote for work on my dunebuggy. I was asked to send photos in so they could put a quote together.They appear to be well organized, the place was very clean, and the staff curtous. However, as of this post I never received a quote.

They always help with options on how to most affordably fix up my dents for the cars I own. For my leases they more than capable of making it look like I never got hit. The shared last name is just a coincidence, I still havent been able to convince them I should get the family discount 😉

Did an awesome job on the body work of the vehicle, however I was told initially work would take 4-5 days, didnt receive my car for 3 weeks. Completely unprofessional communication, but a good job overall.

Honorable but sloppy work. Replaced a damages front quarter panel and repainted front grill shroud. When I picked up the car, it all looked ok, but when I got it home, I noticed strange scratches in the top edge of the opposite quarter panel and realized that the tech had dragged an air hose across it. I also noticed buff swirl marks across the hood. I took it back and they agreed to fix the scratches and the hood, but claimed they never buffed the hood. I scheduled to drop the car off.The next day was sunny and revealed buffing swirl marks not only all over the hood, but the same swirls on the driver door and the replaced front quarter panel. When I opened the door to investigate further, I noticed buffing compound dust all over inside the door jam - as if it’s my responsibility to clean up after a $ 2500 repair. This sloppiness sent me on a hunt for more and I found that just under the hood the shop had sprayed over dirt - arghh - no way would this finish last for the rest of the cars life.When I took it in for the buffing, I pointed out the spray over the dirt and received push back - as in ‘so we sprayed over a little dirt- big deal’. I said I wanted it fixed, and they reluctantly agreed to clean it up.When I picked it up the next day, I was encouraged as the swirl marks were gone- so were the hose scratches. But as I opened the hood to check the spray over dirt, I saw it had been cleaned up but noticed some strange flaking. I ran my finger across the flakes and the clear coat peeled off like a bad nail salon job.I called the owner out again and asked him if he’s happy with this result - he indicated that they tried to clean it up like I asked as if that was as good as they could get it. When I objected yet again and said this has nothing to do with cleaning it up, this has to do with the surface not being prepped properly- he reluctantly agreed to respray it the next day.All appears good now, but it took my inspections, confrontations and 2 returns to the shop to get it right. Owner gets points for being honorable and doing the right thing, but marked way down for making me have to play the disgruntled customer to get there. They exhibited no pride or craftsmanship.
