The staff at the Windsor Armory are amazing. I have taken multiple training classes and plan on taking more this summer. The instructors/staff have gone above and beyond in helping me with several firearms I am building and are always able to answer questions. Additionally, I have sold several weapons through consignment at the store and it was a breeze. The store caters to all levels of knowledge, and the staff are always friendly.

Great shop and outstanding staff. They never shy away from taking the extra time to help a customer out and will never turn down taking the time to special order something for you like some other shops have done. No matter how big or small they are always there with a solution and want to take the time to help you. They are able to get some very rare finds as well in these hard times and even help with custom long range rifle builds! Make sure you sign up for some of their classes too, cant even begin to talk about how amazing their knowledge goes when it comes to training. Will definitely keep coming here for my firearm needs.

Will never return to this shop!!!! This was my first time in and when you walk in it seems friendly but not a single employee said a word to me!! Get up to the register and say hi to the guy, he just stares me down like he is better than me!!! Couldn’t even respond back!! I’ll take my business to liberty!!In return to your response that is bull!!! There were two men one behind the register and one talking to a women about classes and her son taking concealed carry I’m not fake nor do I do things like that to make competitors look better!!! How dare you for even saying something like this!!! I am a real person and I know he heard me!!! He looking me square in the eyes!!!

Turned 18 the next day went to buy a gun had no idea what I was looking for the guy helped me find one that would best fit me and i love the weapon. Even tho I live a distance away this is the only gun store I will shop

When I first discovered this place, I was impressed. The guys working there were very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Just got off the phone with one gentleman who tells me he can set a Glock 19 aside for me simply asking me to come through within 24 hours. I called back five minutes later after confirming I could afford this gun and a female answers who gives me nothing but attitude as I reference the fact I literally just talked to someone about this. She then proceeds to tell me they had two Glock 19s, one in 9mm and one in 10mm????? Long story short I can no longer do business with Windsor Armory.

They built a custom AR pistol for my wife, which is absolutely awesome. Also My wife and I recently did some private lessons at the range with Ed. I just purchased one of Windsor Armorys Blemished AR lowers.This speaks to their level of quality control as a company as the only blemish was a slight bit of wear along the edge of the magazine well. This blemish looks like the amount of wear its going to suffer on its first range day so, to me its more than acceptable.That said, it was marked discounted as such and while such a small blemish I would call acceptable from most mainline firearms makers, I feel really good about the product quality if this is the mercilessly STRICT quality control that Windsor Armory adheres to.I will absolutely be returning to have them complete my build when I figure out what I want to do as theyll build it better than I ever could WITHOUT compromising quality!EDIT AND UPDATE:The Forged blemished lower I bought has done AMAZING through 2k rounds with an 10.5 Aero Precision upper attached to it. Ive run it using a plate carrier/mag carrier combo and while its been dropped on a sling against my gear, there are ZERO major scratches.The upper fits perfectly with absolutely ZERO play. Ive pinned on a friends BCM 10.5 upper and experienced perfect fit again.The flared magazine well is just perfect. Its wide enough to be useable but minimal enough to not be too bulky. Running this lower side by side with my milspec Stag lower, reloads are definitely easier!

Windsor Armory is the best gun store in Northern Colorado by far! Their unmatched knowledge/experience as well as outstanding customer service really set them apart from the competition (if you even want to call it that) Through the pandemic they have been able to keep most high demand products on the shelves and never compromise on their standard of quality!

Highly Recommend! Frankly the most friendly and knowledgeable shop owners I have found in Northern Colorado. Both Eric and Ed have been extremely patient and answered any questions my husband and I have had. We have gone back many times and will continue to do so.

I would not recommend! My husband and I wanted to shop here today and buy locally because we believe in supporting our community. As he was walking to the door one of the employees SAW him an immediately turned off the open sign and locked the door. We came at 545pm when they are supposed to open until 630pm. When I called Roberta she claimed she had no knowledge of this even though she was also standing in the store holding her gallon of milk. There were three people in the store just standing in the store doing nothing. I will happily take our business elsewhere to a company that values its customers.

I have been very impressed with everyone from Windsor Armory. They have been a wealth of knowledge as I built my first AR15. I purchased a few items from the store and a few from other places as well, and regardless of where I purchased everything they were more than happy to help me out with any questions I had. When I finished my gun I promised Ed I would bring it in for him to look at. They helped fix a few issues I was having and suggested a few parts as well. Ed, Chris and Matt know their stuff and I appreciate them helping me with my build. I definitely suggest going to Windsor Armory.

Eric Croft has an amazing knowledge of firearms with many years of on the ground experience in military operations and running personal security details (e.g. he has guarded John McCain, Lindsay Graham and many other politicians over the years). In addition to being a world class security professional he is a very talented instructor. Erics teaching style is systematic and disciplined yet easy going (not intimidating to the uninitiated). He really connects with his students. Its a great value. Eric and the Windsor Armory are highly recommended!

These are some great guys with endless amounts of knowledge. They have guided me through a couple of Long Range Rifle builds and a custom AR-9mm build since my last review. I have done my Carry Conceal class and long range precision classes with these guys. Group classes with these guys and private lessons are amazing. Everything these guys have recommended has worked out great. There isnt many gun shops you can go into and feel completely comfortable but these guys make you feel right at home with honest answers and love to teach people about everything firearm and personal defense related. I am honored to call Eric, Ed, Chris and Kyle friends and will be doing business here for many years to come.

Stopped in while on vacation visiting Family for the holidays, The people I dealt with, primarily a gentleman named Ed, were amazingly helpful with all my questions. I was looking to get into long-range target shooting. Besides explaining to me the differences between numerous scopes, they helped explain to me which cartridges are the best for the sport and how to choose which would be right for me. Scheels is way nice and always offers fresh weapons with a greater selection of aftermarket parts. The staff is is as awesome as the ammo prices! USA Liberty Fire Arms has a large selection of custom parts on hand and is another great option! Skip the Armory and go right to the good stuff!!!

Windsor Armory is what a firearm shop should be - knowledgeable, stocked with things that you actually want, and most importantly, awesome humans. I’ve purchased two firearms from them and both of them were special orders. Eric and Ed made the impossible happen, specifically in regard to my CZ P07. The shop’s concern was what I wanted and they came through and delivered two spectacular pieces of engineering for me. I was so impressed with the service and experiences that I signed both my wife and I up for their CCW course and couldn’t have been happier. Great experience all around. Great folks. Ignore the 1 star reviews this place is awesome and the staff is great! I shopped at several big box stores and have been mostly treated as an annoyance asking basic questions. A friend talked me into driving up and and both Ed and Chris took the time to teach and helped me explore different options to suit my needs. I walked out with some high quality parts at a more than fair price.

Recently attended the Tac-Med 1 class. 2 days of packed information and hands on training. Learned SO MUCH including my limitations and weaknesses. I highly recommend talking this class when offered!

Got a chance to visit the shop and talked to a nice fellow named Ed. He helped me with my pistol grip form which I later used and made significant strides in my targeting and accuracy. This is a great shop. These guys are legit!

The staff is mostly concerned about what they think is cool with little consideration to the customers needs. Staff often fights over lost weapons and missing paperwork. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I had a list of things I had looked for elsewhere, and hadnt been entirely happy with what I was finding (some AR parts & upgrades and advanced 1st aid courses) - this store is exactly what I needed. Despite the small inventory when they opened, everything really was stuff they would trust (and have trusted) their own lives with. Its all top-notch stuff, and their recommendations & experience carry a lot of weight. They also dont try to sell you on the biggest, baddest option. They talk to you about whats a good fit for the rest of your rifle and the intended use and make a practical recommendation. What they ended up special ordering for me was a lot less than I had expected to pay but Im a lot more confident its exactly what I need and from a quality manufacturer. Really professional staff - definitely where Im gonna go first in the future.Update: took the Defense Medicine course, and was a really good use of time. Excellent material and instructor - I think every gun owner ought to take a class like that.

Great sales staff and knowledgeable. I had multiple questions about a new rifle (Which I admittedly didnt know alot about) the Manager took time to specifically show me what I did and didnt need and helped getting a few custom parts. To make the rifle fit me without a hug custom price tag and feel comfortable when shooting. They even offered suggestions on training courses.

Being new to the Fort Collins area, as an avid gun enthusiast who frequents the range two times per week, I was looking for a full-service gun shop that could rival the excellent one in Salida, Colorado, with whom I did business with for 6-7 years -- a gun shop that makes a customer feel immediately welcome, knows their stuff, takes the time to field questions, fill special orders, and never, ever talks down to a customer, no matter how much or how little that customer knows about guns and shooting. After some initial disappointing experiences with a couple other gun stores in the area, I am happy to say that I found Windsor Armory. Eric and Ed immediately impressed me with their knowledge and customer service. No more searching for me; from here on Windsor Armory is my go-to gun shop!

One of the few small shops that actually has competitive prices with the big box stores and online retailers (I bought a BCM handguard here that was probably cheaper than buying from BCM considering shipping). The perfect place for people that are into the AR platform or precision rifles. Staff is easy going and knowledgeable without the elitist attitudes you get at some other places. Also, as a veteran, I appreciate the 5% discount they offer me.
