We ordered rock for a dry creek bed that we were installing in our side yard. We ordered grey river rock, blue cobblestone and pea rock. When it was delivered, everything was supposed to be grey…but the river rock was clearly tan. We called and talked to them about it, they told us that it was dusty. We sprayed it down and it was still definitely tan. We called again the following day and they again told us that it was grey and that we could order more rock. We just decided to figure it out with our neighbors. Now I have extra rock that I’ll use as million dollar drainage rock under our deck. It just seems silly to me to argue this, when it clearly isn’t grey…and to be honest, we would’ve bought material from them in the future if this hadn’t of happened.Update: My husband received a call today for being “two-faced” (reasonable on the phone and not in the review). Here’s the thing: we looked on their website to agree on a rock with our neighbors. Then my husband called them and talked to them about what we were doing and verified that the rock was grey. The person verified that the rock was grey and then recommended a different cobble stone based on what we were doing. We wound up just losing money on this. Since it isn’t what we agreed to with our neighbors (grey rock as shown on their website), we have a literal tons of extra rock that we now have to figure out what to do with. I want to be clear that we aren’t the only people who find this ridiculous…so do our neighbors. We were not upset originally because things happen…BUT the idea that the only way to fix it is to buy $400 more in rock is ridiculous. I also added a screenshot from their website and the actual rock that was delivered. While I get that the rock may not be the exact same, I don’t understand saying that it’s grey when my husband called and verified over the phone. To be honest, I also noticed that looks a lot like the tan river rock photo. My goal is not to bash a business here. I just think… how this was handled is simply morally wrong. My husband wasn’t going to sit on the phone and argue when the response was to buy more instead of owning the problem and fixing it…BUT still that doesn’t make it okay. THAT doesn’t make for a good customer experience. We have a deck to build, a dog run and several paths to finished. All of that work requires rock in different forms. All of that business is going to another supplier moving forward.

We ordered the planters mix and grey gravel aka breeze. The breeze was great the planters mix was rocky with little nutrients and looked like dirt from my yard. Ive got a similar mix from the prior owners Im working on removing. I used it because I paid for it but mixed a lot of growth soil with it and picked out quite a few rocks... larger than a dime smaller than my fist. Yes... some were bigger than youd expect. The driver delivered our product to 2 separate areas in the yard which was nice. 3 ton delivery limit $60 per product on the same truck, $120 delivery fee for our 2 items and then the cost of the product. Overall we were happy, I thought it eas a bit pricy to charge the same delivery fee for a different product where if it was all 3 tons one product it wouldve been just 60. No perk to buy more. $60>>$45 or $30 Just 60/ load. Im just the consumer...

Have been buying landscape material for our property for a number of years. Haven’t had a problem until recently we had to test their customer service. They have none! We purchased a ton of flagstone earlier this year to pave a patio, recently we purchased an additional two tons. I trusted these guys, the first ton was great. When we brought the second ton home we discovered it was about 1/3 broken pieces conveniently stacked underneath, and the rest were all stepping stone size pieces or smaller. When we called them, they said there was nothing they could do about it, all sales final. The sales rep said the pallet was fine. They have not responded to our email with pictures of the bill of good they sold us. Buyer beware here, they will try and pull something over on you and do not, do not stand behind their product!! I will not return here after 15 years of buying product here. Neither will my neighbors as we all have good summer projects going.

Timber Rock saved the day! We had a delivery set with Crystal Landscape and they flaked on us the day before without notice. I called Timber Rock and not only did they have all the supplies we needed, but could set up a delivery for the very next day (which was a weekend)! We were able to get our backyard landscaping and fire pit area done in the time we needed to. Their customer service was fantastic and even the owner delivered some of the materials. A really nice family business to work with. Thanks again for saving the day!

Got the TimberRock Speckle for the front yard. Delivered it the very next day with no issues.

The price is good but thats all. Customer service is poor to say it nicely, and absolutely no return on landscape boulders, so if you buy it you stuck with it. Jess Aragon the proprietor informed me that he would no remove the boulder from our trailer and set it back down 5 ft away. Apparently there is a sign somewhere that informs customers of this, being a first and last time customer I was not informed of this and was expected to find the sign. Pioneer may be a couple cents more per pound but they will take your return. My biggest complaint is the way I was treated and because I only purchased $795 worth of material. Never again.

I had an absolute great experience with TimberRock Landscape. I have a rental property in Windsor and needed to get landscaping materials asap before the next renters moved in. The first reason that I loved TimberRock was that their pricing is up front and online. I looked at competitors websites and it was a maze trying to find pricing which I didnt. They wanted you come in to get a quote. The first order I needed was brown mulch. TimberRock had the best quality and pricing. The employees were very friendly and knowledgeable on the quantity I needed. The next day I needed Grey breeze rock for the pathway in the background. Once I ordered it on the phone they delivery was made within AN HOUR! I will highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get landscaping materials and plans for their house!

Great service from ordering and delivery. The prices were reasonable. They helped with two different orders within a week. The second order was unexpected and they got it in the same same day I found out I needed the material. Hopefully I never need to landscape anything again. However, If I do, I will use Windsor Timberrock and I recommend this place to anyone.

Called in and got a quote for materials, checked other places as well, but Timberrock was slightly lower. Drove out there and was told that the employee had quoted the wrong price and they would not honor it. Then was charged more than the updated higher price.Timberrock really has the potential to be a great place if it would be run with honor and courtesy. The prices are generally fair and the materials excellent, but the shorting on loading and the general “jerkiness” of the management really hurts this company.

Been buying landscape materials for months, both in person and delivered. Had Roy deliver to our house the first time. He managed to drive off a 22 driveway 3/4 deliveries. Landscape wasnt done do easy fix. Today he managed to destroy almost 40 of landscape after he drove over one side and then the other of the same 22 driveway. Once confronted, he refused to drop the material that was already paid for. The owner wasnt available but they offered $40 for my trouble and 4 pieces of edging. Nothing compared to what it will cost to replace, plus the rented equipment, and lost time!

Until today I would have given them a 5 star review. We have used them as our go to rock place for years. We especially LIKED the fact we could buy rock by the pallet. However when my husband tried to do so today we were told that it was by the ton and always had been, even though their price guide says differently. When my husband pointed that out he was told he was a terrible customer and that they didnt want our money. Guess we will buy elsewhere.

We have bought flagstone, crusher fines and play sand from TimberRock. They have anyways been easy to work with.

I am 15 year Windsor resident and have purchased from Timberrock over the years. And have spent at least $2000 at Timberrock this summer alone. I over estimated on the amount of landscape fabric I needed for our project, and have a 12 roll that was unused, unopened, and had been in my garage the entire time. They would not exchange for a 6 roll which I needed. So, I will not be patronizing them anymore. This is why people buy from Lowes and Home Depot instead.

Similar to many other reviewers on here, we were shorted on our delivery and the owner was rude, defensive and combative. Also degraded his own staff while simultaneously admitting he doesn’t understand how weight units are measured. Don’t waste your time or money with this company. Hope they enjoy our $250 donation since we certainly didn’t get the product we paid for.

DO NOT BUY ROCKS FROM THEM!!!They tried to tell me that four rocks I was looking to buy came out to 4 tons. I could flip 3 of the 4 over by myself. The employees are great, the owner is the rudest individual Ive ever dealt with. I will never return to them again!

Disappointed in customer service. Went over to pick up a pretty simple flagstone to complete a walkway in our backyard. Owner or manager( not sure which one) completely ignored us. We found a flagstone we liked and then waited to try to find out info on it and never got it. Left very frustrated. Went somewhere else had great customer service and finished our project in a day.

We bought and paid for two tons of rock to be delivered. They delivered 1 1/2 tons per the driver. Our professional landscapers also noted the discrepancies. Calling them you get two rude employees that will not believe you. I asked for manager or owner and was told they were out today. I explained problem with my tine constraints having my landscapers today only. They refused to talk to me anymore and hung up on me. BUYER BEWARE.

It is correct about the one star, in truth I felt it was like leaving a one cent tip and attempting to send a message. Clearly they do not have enough sense to see what damage they will eventually do to their company. I advise all future customers to rethink where they want to spend their money and read the amount of predominant negative reviews.

We had a mix up on rock type. I called late on a Friday and what a pleasant surprise they picked up the phone. Not only did they pick up the phone but there was no hassle. They came out the next day brought the right rock and picked up the old rock. I have purchased over 200 tons of material from this company and they are great!!! I highly recommend them!

Be aware of their service and attitude towards costumers! Originally requested and scheduled rock delivery for Tuesday, didnt receive it and NO notice/explanation; called on Wednesday, lady on the phone didn’t know what happened but promised to deliver on Thursday morning; NO delivery again on Thursday, and NO notice; called and left message, no response; had to call again on Friday, and was told the driver didnt come to work because of weather (35-45 degrees no snow). My landscape project was delayed and delayed again because of this.

Great prices and product. Customer service wasnt the best. Acted like he didnt want to be there and didnt want to help us. We purchased our mulch and soil and went home to get our truck. They even called to confirm we werent having it delivered (which he didnt even ask when we purchased). We said no, we were heading over with our truck to pick it up. Got there and they had already closed early for Mothers Day. We can respect closing early, but to not give us a heads up when you knew we were on our way was rude. Now we have paid for product that we dont even have and had to go purchase more soil somewhere else to get our project done today. A little customer service and consideration would have been nice.

Horrible customer service!!! I ordered material on a Wednesday to have materials delivered on a Saturday. Called on Thursday to cancel the order and was charged a 20% restocking and administration fee for merely 5 minutes worth of paperwork. ($143.00) There is nothing that states anything about cancellations on their paperwork. (see attached) I can understand if they had delivered the material and I did not accept it, which it does state. When I called to question the policy the guy was a total jerk about it. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else. I had other materials I was going to order from here to complete my project but will gladly find another company. Thanks TimberRock for not letting me spend anymore money with you!

Weve used Timber Rock several times for rock, flagstone, mulch, and dirt. Their prices are competitive, have great selections, and service is good. If I had to choose between them or their competition in Loveland, I would 100%use them only.

We are very positive we were shorted on our delivery of dirt and rock. We called and went in to have them look at our measurements to see if it was just our bad calculation or their error. Sean, did a quick calculation and agreed. He talked to the owner on the phone and came back and said the owner filled it himself and he was positive it was right. We asked to speak to him and he never called back. Unfortunately, we had to purchase more rock from them so it would match, but we bought our dirt at Pioneer. They were great there, with a coupon it was the same price as Timberrock!

I have been ok (3.5 of 5) with TimberRrock until this last visit. I purchased rock last Fall in 6 loads, agreed on multiple pickups, and agreed that I might not get the last one until this Spring. I did the same thing the previous year. Their customer service has always been iffy with the ownership.I showed up today and they would not honor that (I have full receipts showing I paid!). I even was fine paying the difference in the cost for this year’s price. The amount they owed me was $18. The front office staff was fine, but the owner (on the phone with the front office staff) was a jerk.So, they are liars, stole my money, and have horrible customer service. There are several other places around this area. Do not use this company.

I have been to Timberock and purchased multiple items from them. Today I needed 5 small boulders, about 25 to 50 lbs each.They charge 39 cents a pound for picking your own rocks. At about 25 lbs each, and 5 rocks, the cost is $48.(Clerk also said price per ton was $70, which I only needed 5, and they were about 7 inch rocks)I went to a competitor, who charges by the ton, even if you pick them up.For 5 small boulders, he said just to pick 5 and free of charge.I typically like to shop, with local companies, but do the math, $48 to free, and where do you think I will shop next time?Why shop where the company would not compromise, I will go to the company, another local, who were excellent with customer service and satisfaction.8/18/2020The response from the owner is illogical, the other company gave me the rocks for free. Why would I go back to timberock? I read the rest of the comments for timberock and noticed comments from the owner, thank you for the comments, help us to do better!!Customer Service is #1 in honest business. I always shop around and prices at other landscape companies are the same or better than TimbeRock. I had used them to help support local companies, but from the reviews and the response from the owner, please be aware, and shop prices and services at other landscape companies. A shame so many people have issues. Owner please get a clue, change for the better.

They are NOT honest!!!1. They are not sale with the price posted on the internet.2. I bought 16 tons rocks in may 2016. They delivered dumped about 8.9 cubic yards rocks to the curbside. The 8.9 cubic yards of rocks is not enough to 12 tons.So if you are thinking to buy things from them, be careful!!!
