I was a recent customer of one of the sister Public Storage facilities in the area and had a very bad experience. In researching alternatives, I came upon this facility in Winfield, and made an online reservation. From there, the experience became the very BEST one I have encountered with a business in a long time. After making the reservation Danielle called me and we instantly bonded over my storage needs and possible solutions. I then made a second reservation and we scheduled an appointment. Having just completed the appointment yesterday, I cant say enough great things about Danielle and her products and services. She is an OUTSTANDING professional with a wonderful personality and a great business style.Being a former HR Director, I can tell you unequivocally that she is the type of first class manager that I want to help run my business. She went above and beyond and the extra mile etc to come up with the best solution for my needs.I will continue to be a valued customer with Public Storage because of Danielle, and I hope that she is recognized and rewarded for all her efforts and results. We need more people like her and I extend my thanks and kudos for a job well done !

Actually 1 star for the web site which would not let me finish the transaction and 5 stars for the Adriana (the on site person) who finished up the rental process, informed me of the details, showed me the locker and cleaned the snow in front on the door on a miserably snowy day. Thanks.

Im very,very happy to have decided to rent a storage space at this Public Storage location. The front desk worker, Chelsea, was a joy to work with, and extremely professional. I had my rental unit shown to me,my gate code assigned,all of the rules explained, first months rent paid and a shiny,brand-new lock in less than 10 minutes. The whole process was painless, easy and actually kind of fun thanks to Chelsea, her wonderful attitude and obvious desire to do everything in her power to please the customer.The only thing I could sort of complain about is the mandatory insurance that youre required to carry on your unit. Nothing about insurance was mentioned when I called the 800 number and spoke to someone in a call center in some random location. So, the additional monthly charge was kind of a surprise, but the premium is reasonable and when you think of it, insurance isnt too bad of a thing to have to have.I price compared with Uncle Bobs ( ? really - what a dumb name!), Simply Self Storage, and AAA Self-Storage, (all in the St. Charles area) and even with the insurance premium, this Public Storage location was an extremely good value.Overall, I highly recommend this Public Storage location. Chelsea is an excellent customer service representative, and Public Storage should be proud to have her as an employee. In a market segment thats extremely close in price and amenities, customer service can really make a difference in choosing where to rent, and the main reason I chose to rent here was the wonderful service that she provided at the time of rental.Thanks Chelsea - I hope you see this! It was a pleasure meeting you.

Danielle went over and beyond what was required or expected to make our experience a success. After our GPS took us SO far off track she talked us through the maze it had taken us to . She stayed beyond our appointment time and never once made us like we were anything be welcomed. Finding the unit we selected would not work for us, she searched and found one that would work and quickly made the adjustment to our agreement. Great gal to work with and a joyful, caring person at heart.

I went to this location yesterday to gain some info on a storage unit to store items for my business. Danielle showed me a couple of units and made the whole experience pleasant as i have never rented before thank you so much for all the wonderful information.

This is my first time storing. This location was the closest one to me and very easy to find. Danielle was the one helping me & made my life a lot easier through the whole process. She answered all my questions and made me feel much better about storing my stuff. She gave me a call to check in with me to see how my move in went and if everything is working out well. Had to delete my previous 5 star review and rewrite. Under new management and its a nightmare. The entire front row of rental spots is vacant. They enforced silly regulations and lost so much business. After 10 years we are gone. The enforcement felt like it came from a bad place, it was rude and abrupt.

Danielle is the best! She made everything so easy and was so nice and pleasant. With a great sense of humor!

All I can say is... wow! I was in a potentially very stressful moving situation, and Danielle went above and beyond to set me up with everything I needed. I was not expecting the level of customer service I received, and was extremely impressed. Many people do not take the time in their day to make the extra effort, but Danielle was truly amazing and I left the facility much calmer than when I got there! Thank you so much!!! As a side note, the prices are extremely reasonable!

Rented a 5x10 unit at this location because of the proximity to our new home in Winfield. Its a clean facility with very helpful staff -- Drew was the store manager on site at the time I went in to complete the rental agreement. Very pleasant guy (and great sense of humor, despite the fact that I was in the door the moment he unlocked the doors on Saturday morning). He answered all of my off-the-wall questions with no problem. In all, I was out of the office and unloading items into my unit within 20 minutes. Not too shabby. So thank you, kind sir, you made my day!

Oh my gosh! Customer service like you hope and dream of finding. Danielle is an absolute all star game changer! I cant rave enough about her! I stopped at 4 different storage facilities trying to find immediately available 10*30 space. Locations were full or really high priced. Danielles location was full but she helped me to find a location nearby and I was able to load it up right away. Also gave me advise on how to prep a storage unit with tarps, charcoal (for smells and moisture) damprid (for mold and mosture) special bags to protect mattress. Again, big, big thank you. Miss Danielle!

Remembered this place from a couple years ago so I went in today to look for rv parking. Met with Adriana. Super friendly and helpful. I will be coming back here to rent once I complete my purchase.Went in asking about parking for my boat. Jan helped me by searching for another location that had space available. She made it super easy and looked for me so I didn’t have to drive all over. She even called the other location to make sure my boat would fit. Super helpful and friendly.

I have used this facility for about six months. I stored my boat there and had a small storage unit. The boat was broken into and the radio stolen along with other vehicles that were broken into (smashed windows and radios stolen). I thought they had security there, but apparently there is none were I stored the boat. There are huge gaps at the bottom of the fencing in spots. Very disappointing.As far as the small enclosed storage unit that I rented for about 2 months; many of the items were very wet because of roof leakage.I will never store anything at this location again.
