Third visit into this store tonight. I stopped in the aisle to look at peanut butter jars and was excited to see a few brands I have been wanting to try. Caution: check the code dates before buying! Luckily, I checked while still in the store and saw Wild Friends peanut butter expired with a code date in May 2021 for the regular and October 2020 for the chocolate, yikes. Also, noticed some items without prices. Just double check and bring it up to customer service.

This market is an excellent community based business that has served the area well in good times and in bad. The staff is always attentive and helpful, the products are great and reasonably priced and it is always clean and organized.

My favorite grocery store in town! The store produces the best price than the other store in town. They also had food bars that offer a chicken meal, soups, sliders, and fries and they were very tasty! They also had some hard to find items here, as well. Every weekend, I was here doing some groceries for the family

Their bakery cakes are DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL

Visited from Denver .This is a great time capsule for those that love the home alone movie! I definitely recommend going inside the grocery store. it still resembles the way it was in the movie especially where the cashiers are.

What percentage of management/supervisors are women? on Friday February 12th 2021 at gfc in Winnetka around 5:20pm Mira R made comments to a customer that; no one else has complained about an area missing prices and that most people who shop there, dont look at the prices. those comments were inappropriate, unprofessional, condescending and ignorant. Im not attempting to get anyone in trouble, Im trying to make a negative into a positive. They did: offer to assist with obtaining the prices of the items, tried to helpful and was positive and some respects, but, it was extremely frustrating because this issue had been brought up 2 times, in the past and not resolved, despite assurances (i guess someone lied) that they would be. the store does have positive employees and there have been positive interactions. Overall, it appears that some Grand Food Center employees, in Winnetka, do not interact with all of its customers, in the same fashion. also many prices are missing and many prices are incorrect. prices are high and this is not a high-end establishment.Sunday 02-14-2021, it appears that grand food center takes down negative reviews. i was trying to be nice, but this store SUCKS and SMELLS. some people here appear to be good people. but all it takes, is one hater to mess it up for everyone.

Excellent place to get food stuffs when in a rush. Their service is speedy, pricing is reasonable, awesome vibes. Proudly recommended.

Rhonda was extremely Pleasant. She greeted everyone at the door. The store was not busy at the time of arrival, however, Rhonda was able to assist those of us in the store. She knew where everything was!

Love the staff that work here. Went to pick up some stuff for my work and they were very helpful when I could not find a product. They directed and actually walked me to the aisle. The cashier was also super sweet and friendly. We had a mini conversation and that made my shopping experience awesome!

I have been shopping at The Grand for many years and the experience always has been so wonderful from their managers to the flowers, bakery, and butcher section, all of their staff are amazing. Quality products and always very clean. Never a problem. I ordered customize cakes for many occasion and they are exelente!!!

Their skirt steak was better than the ones I purcased from a butcher store. I was a bit wary of ordering meat from a grocery but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff from the meat department gave me tips on how to grill it and what accompaniments to serve with the skirt steak (carne asada). The store staff have always been pleasant and are always available to help.

Grand is grand! Very friendly and helpful staff. Live music was playing on Christmas Eve when I was last there. Lots of interesting and different options. They made fresh chocolate eclairs for my sis while we waited very briefly. They donate to a senior center in Wilmette which is one reason we support them but the main reason is quality and variety and the personable employees.

Great local grocer with a good quality selection. Parking available as well. Even a good wine and beer selection as well.

I love The Grand. Its a really well stocked store with good brands, and the employees are very friendly. Its a little more expensive than other stores, but because its local and has ample parking, I think its totally worth it.

Theyre okay. The management has a little bit to be desired there, they do not treat their employees with the utmost respect. I was a patron. It just says a lot about someones character how they treat their employees. Im not as impressed with the place as I would have liked to have been.
