Best laundromat I have been too. It is obviously well cared for. The machines are in immaculate condition. I live many towns away but will come here when in the area for other things because it is such a nice place. The person working there is very kind and even went out of their way to open the door for me when they saw me struggling with my hands full to get in.

This is the nicest laundromat I have ever seen. I am a travel nurse, so I have seen a lot. The place is clean and the machines all work but YALL... There is a coffee bar AND computers with a printer (for a fee). If one could call a laundromat upscale, this is the one. Will definitely return.

I asked for the bathroom key he throw it at me I wonder if I was white if he would have done that. The staff was very rude to me and belittled me. When I was leaving the laundry mat he followed me out it was scary . Why are you following me out of the laundry sir. I get anxiety whenever I go there this will be my last time I don’t need a man watching me every move I am not a criminal, I just want to do my laundry in peace

Ill say this - I drive past 4 other laundromats to get to Clothes Quarters. Chris keeps the machines and the building in pristine condition. It is extremely rare that a machine is not functioning. The machines always smell clean, not mildewy like I have found at many other laundromats. Very reasonable prices with lots of machines to get a mountain of laundry done quickly.

Possibly the cleanest laundromat Ive ever used. New, clean, very-modern washers and dryers. Feels very safe with security cameras all over and the friendly owner seems to work there in-person while its open. Okay prices, Ive paid less at dirtier places, but you gotta make a choice whats important to you. I have compact laundry machines at home but theyre not good for huge loads of heavy towels or king-sized bedding and comforters, so Ive got to take those items out to a laundromat with oversized machines. This place has the huge 60 lb+ washers and dryers! Its like $9+ for a that load... but it saves a lot of time too. Definitely recommend.

What a great laundromat! It is always clean, which is wonderful especially during this pandemic. They have a plenty of machines and even seating if you wanted to hang out and drink a coffee while you wait for your laundry to be done. Also the staff is super nice! He always smiles and greets us when we come in to do laundry. Even the prices are great!

Such a clean and nice facility. The gentleman I always see there is very nice and courteous to me. It never gets crazy crowded and prices are normal.

So glad that I found this place! Its always clean and the owner makes sure to say hello to everyone who walks through the door. The machines are great with multiple wash options to choose from. The 2 dollar dryers always get my clothes dry the first time around. Instead of dreading doing laundry, I now look forward to having a hour to do nothing but read my book and wait for the clothes to be done. ❤👕

Really not sure why this place has so many positive reviews.Instructions for machines not prominently displayed. Reason for 1-star is that staff person was rude and lectured me about what I’d done wrong when I asked for assistance. And flat out refused to be helpful.I had simply asked if I should add more detergent within a minute or two the cycle starting, not 20 minutes as he falsely claims in the response below. I think its clear from the response to this review and others that the owner prefers long false diatribes over simply being respectful to his patrons in the first place.

The machines were very clean, and the staff were cleaning the commonly touched surfaces often. I will definitely be going back, and highly recommend.

Im thrilled to have found this local gem. The facilities are always spotless and well maintained. The owner always greets me and other patrons with a warm welcome and checks in on you while waiting. Five stars across the board!

Great place. The gentleman who is always there when I do my laundry (not sure if he the owner or an extremely hard working employee) is very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable about the different machines. Washers and dryers are fast. Clothes come out very clean. This is not the closest laundromat to me. It is well worth going a few extra miles.

This is a beautiful facility. Absolutely beautiful. But what really made me sad was how the staff treated me at first. I walked into building with a bag around my shoulder and started looking for the coin machine. I was looking at how modern the place was and was simply amazed, a man came rushing out of the back room and asked me what I was doing in a mildly aggressive voice.“Are you here to do laundry?”“Oh hi! Yeah of course!”“Where are your things?”“Here” I turned slightly and showed him the bag around my shoulder.“Oh”I was taken off guard at this point.“I was wondering where your coin machines are.”“Over there on the wall”I started looking.“On the wall.”He raised his voice this time“On the wall. On the wall. On the wall.”Alrighty, by this time I just looked at him, wondering what I did to deserve this.I found the machine, flush against the wall, right in front of me even.I’ve never felt so unwelcome since I came to Vermont a couple of days ago, everyone’s been so nice and I believe this is an isolated incident. In fact, the staff became very kind when I asked for the bathroom key. I was almost hoping that the next patrons who walked in would get the same treatment but he stayed in the back.I don’t think I deserved this.Other than that, It is a very very safe and relaxing place to do your laundry. I hate laundromats. Im going to start with that. They give me anxiety. Usually there are children running around and being loud, everything feels dirty and the air is warm and stagnant.That has not been my experience at Clothes Quarters. I have been three times now and all three times have been consistently pleasant (or at least as pleasant as doing laundry can be).The man I have seen (I assume the owner) is polite and says hello and goodbye to me. He makes his presence known so that if there are any complications or questions, you know who to turn to.It has been quiet. I am a graduate student who works full-time. I try to structure my time so that I can multi-task, and that way when I have down-time, I dont have to worry about all of my other responsibilities. I have been able to take my readings to the laundromat so that I can study. No one has ever bothered me and no child has ever run through and tripped over my feet or asked to play on my phone. This has happened at other laundromats in the Burlington area. There seems to be an expectation at Clothes Quarters that socializing is fine, but screaming and running around is not.Clothes Quarters is clean! When you walk in, there is no weird or musky smell. There is no lint lying around on the floors or on the folding tables. People throw away their dryer sheets. There isnt weird spills on the seats or floors. Every few minutes, the man attending the laundromat walks through to do basic tidying so the appearance is always neat (such as closing the machine doors when not in use or taking any laundry that may have been accidentally left and putting it where it can be seen easily).Overall, Clothes Quarters has created an atmosphere that I can feel comfortable. I can get in and out fairly quickly and not feel like I have to shower immediately upon arriving home. I am happy that I looked up reviews and gave Clothes Quarters a shot!

Over priced. Mabe because I am white. I feel discriminated against. Price not the same for white people?... or, just way over priced. I have traveled all over the country dropping off laundry. This is the most I EVER had to pay. Maybe because Im white? Prove me wrong! I will show you the receipt if needed. P.S. I was MORE than impressed, I have driven past this place more times then I can count and never thought of trying it out for my laundry. Im super glad by chance I gave it a try. The owner was super nice, very clean, quiet and well thought out floor plan. Definitely a repeat customer here. I Highly recommend you check it out.

I don’t know if the man I met running the location was the owner or not. However, he was by far one of the nicest men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The facility is extremely clean and well kept. I am not in the habit of placing reviews about a place of it exceeds my standards, and this place is by far the nicest laundry mat I have ever been to. The owner turns off the boilers to steal money from patrons. Pay for a hot wash.. You get cold so they steal your money..I fix gas appliances for a living. I told the owner he was stealing from customers he got so upset I figured out his scam he called police and had me band. Which is fine.The prices on the machines are higher than laundry mats. No restrooms so if you spend anytime there hold your pee. To be fair the dryers are at the correct temp.

A laundromat that stays true and honest to its customers. Clean machines, well maintained and I can wash more for less than what I used to pay at other laundromats in the area. At other laundromats,their machines would be dirty, grimy with dog hair inside and out. They would never take the time to even clean the machine at the other laundromats. This laundromat is very clean, spacious, and affordable. HOWEVER if you advertise that you have a childrens play area, you should have one. What they really have its a reading nook filled with uHaul accessories. Normally Id bring toys for the kids, but I didnt because Id read these supposedly great reviews.Furthermore, and biggest for me, Id read that the staff were really friendly and helpful. That was not my experience. The attendant saw fit to correct my childs behavior (after I already had & he had stopped) which was fine, because he had misbehaved. But the attendant continued to correct him multiple times after both he and I had said okay several times. I finally had to be a bit rude to get him to stop.

I love this place; it not only makes laundry day bearable, but downright enjoyable. Tables to work at, a great staff, clean. I couldn’t reach the top of the washers to put my detergent in and I was brought a step stool👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very clean place, lots of different sized washers and very quick dryers. I wasnt able to connect to the wi-fi during my visit, but an employee did attempt to fix it for me. Great service! The only thing they lack is a public restroom, but it is stated on the door.

This place challenges the norm by creating a social atmosphere within a laundromat. Who wants to sit in a chair and stare at washers and driers while the time passes? Clothes Quarters has created a clean and welcoming lounge for people to have a coffee, interact with others, and exist comfortably. You could even choose to not do these things, and just be in your own world. Theres free Wi-Fi, and even computer stations available for anyone to use for a small fee. There are also a few televisions that air different stations, from the news, to Family Guy. To top it off, the owner kind, and you can tell he enjoys his work. I would say this is, by far, the most interesting laundromat Ive ever been to!

This is probably the nicest, most well-run laundromat Ive ever been in. They have a variety of machine sizes that look almost brand new. The entire place is extremely clean. There is a change machine and a vending machine. A variety of detergents and softeners are on sale for reasonable prices along with a few laundry bags. There is a nice lounge area with some computer terminals for use. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the facility. The location is extremely convenient if you are staying at the Motel 6 or Quality Inn in Colchester.

I dont usually do reviews but this place blew me away! Definitely the most pleasant laundromat experience in the area by far. Super clean with brand new washers and dryers that are fairly priced. Well-cared for by friendly, welcoming staff who answered all of my questions. Not to mention the lovely waiting area, with plants, tables, vending machines, free wifi, TVs, and a keurig coffee setup. Will be coming back for sure!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!! The attendant is very nice and personable. The machines are very nice top of the line Electrolux. Nice flat screens all over so you pass the time. The only problem here is that multiple TVs play the news at a distractingly high volume, so even with good seating, outlets and WiFi its nearly impossible to focus on anything without your own headphones to tune it out.
