What happens when a couple in their sixties who havent ridden a bike in more years than we can remember meets up with Pedego Piedmont Triad? MAGICWe have been considering getting electric bikes for a few weeks now and decided that while we were near a Pedego dealer while visiting our son that we should go try them out after all the rave reviews we have seen on this brand. On a gorgeous Sunday in October we dropped in (no reservation) to Pedego Piedmont Triad to look at their bikes. The young lady who helped us was INCREDIBLE and helpful. We ended up doing a rental run to take a really good test drive. The short version of the experience is that the Pedego catch phrase of Hello Fun was resonating in my head through the entire ride on the beautiful bike trails in Winston-Salem, NC! We had so much fun that we now know what our Christmas presents for one another will be this year. We cant wait to ride again!

Great fun experience. Polite young knowledgeable staff. Easy peasy rental. The first time in person and the second time via Internet payment - hopped on the bike with my friends and rode ALL over. I had knee surgery and couldn’t really peddle much but wanted to get outdoors and this was a perfect way to do it. Can’t say enough about it. The price is certainly worth it because the bikes are new and wonderful - if you can afford it do it.

Awesome way to spend an afternoon. The greenway is beautiful and these bikes are so much fun! Made our way to the quarry and took in a great view. Highly recommend!

The owner and manager were both extremely helpful, patient and very, very knowledgeable about their product. I purchased a Pedigo step through, and I absolutely love it. I have it at the beach and have put a couple hundred miles on it in the last 6 weeks! All our visitors and my older grandchildren love it. Everyone is really amazed at how many hours we get from one battery charge.

We live in Asheville but made the drive to Pedego Piedmont to the see and eventually purchase a very hard to find Pedego Trike. Very happy we did! Alexa was great in answering all of our questions, letting us test ride and getting us all set up (purchase, warranty, etc). Id highly recommend Pedego Piedmont!

Highly recommend the eBike tour! It was so much fun and our tour guide, Tommy, was excellent. We arrived, sign the waiver, got our helmets, watched a quick video and then chose our bikes. After some time testing out a couple of the rentals and navigating our way around the eBike we were off. My husband and I booked our tour for 5:30, which ended up being perfect. The weather was amazing. Tommy was very knowledgeable about the trails and gave a great history of the places we stopped along the way. Tommy was also very understanding of how comfortable we were with the bikes - my husband is a natural. But I freak out when I have to make a turn (I don’t know why?!?). Tommy made sure to coach me through the turns. Despite my hiccups with making sharp turns the bikes are SO EASY to “drive”. The pedal assist and throttle make it relaxing and not exhausting. We did a combination of pedaling, pedal assist and used the throttle to make it up the hills. It was such a great experience and I would highly recommend it.

Great place to find quality products! Hal and Alexa are very nice to work with. I was able to find a very well built and neat electric trike.If anyone is in a bike, trike, segway or accessories. They have a nice selection of well built products.

What a great experience, we were greeted even before we walked in the door, Alexa & Allan were nothing but helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. That doesnt begin to describe the experience we had on the bikes. All we can say is wahoooo! I would go back to their and rent something just to interact with our new friends Alexa & Allan.

The staff at Pedego Piedmont Triad were warm, welcoming, accommodating and very knowledgeable. The owner Hal personally showed me the variety of models Pedego has to offer and generously let me try out several of them, taking as much time as I needed, all the while patiently answering my many questions.Ultimately, I felt quite comfortable with my decision to purchase the Ridge Rider, my first e-bike. It will fit my needs perfectly!Purchasing was easy, with 0% financing offered, generous 5 yr warranty, full tech support, and free 100 mile tuneup.These pedal assist bikes are an absolute joy to ride. I’m looking forward to many fun filled excursions.I highly recommend Pedego, and the folks at Pedego Piedmont Triad!

Excellent customer service. Focus on safety was great. The bikes were in excellent condition and were well powered for the ridePlan for 15-30 min before riding for intro video, sizing bikes, etcWould definitely recommend to all!!

Alexa and Tommy were very friendly, informative and helpful. A great place for test driving! We are in the process of researching ebikes and this dealership had mutiple styles, accessories etc.

My advice, being what it’s worth, go somewhere else if you want an electric bike. This is a tourism company first and a bike retailer second. If you ask a technical bike question, something other than “can I buy that leather seat for an extra $1500?” The answer will most likely be “I have to ask our tech guy and he isn’t in today.”I wanted to return my bike 24 hours after owning it and was told no. Pedego gives a 30 day return period if the bike is purchased directly from Pedego online. From a retail shop, returns are at the mercy of the shop itself.My bike was supposed to come with a Shimano rear cassette, but it came with some steel no name cassette. I called the shop to ask where the Shimano was and was told that the no name cassette was just like the Shimano and I shouldn’t have any problems. The problem is I didn’t get what I paid for. I had to tell them to order the Shimano. Shady business by both Pedego and the shop.Our Pedego bikes have rattled and squeaked from day one. I did A LOT of research /after/ dropping $4000+ on two bikes. I know, shame on me, I should have researched first. Pedegos are extremely over priced bikes with outdated technology made from cheap Chinese products. Don’t just take my word for it, really dig and you’ll see.Pedego was one of the first to market and is possibly the easiest electric bike to purchase due to their number of franchise locations. That is what allows Pedego to grossly overprice their products.Bottom line, do your research and make your own decision. The are a lot of electric bikes out there that are worlds better than a Pedego and I regret my purchase.

I checked out the store today and was impressed by the quality of the bikes plus they looked so nice. I was invited to take a test ride. I had to get used to it, but soon I got the hang of it and loved to ride the bike. As a boomer I can join my kids on a long ride when they come for a visit, because the store also rents the bikes out. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We had great fun on the electric bikes. Four of us at different levels of peddling speeds were able to stay together as the electric assist leveled the playing field. Super fun was for a diverse group to get together for a bicycle outing.

Great service, fun bikes. Got the e bikes and went to the lake, quarry and to Krankies for lunch. Awesome time!

Terrific experience.The folks at Pedago Winston-Salem made our experience excellent. Firstly, we brought our 1 year old along. They had just what we needed to pull him in one of their trailers. It was the first time with the trailer for both Pedago and us. This didnt stop us from having a terrific time. Their customer service was superb, even when we called and didnt leave a message, they were quick to ring us back. We would definitely rent again.

This is a hidden jewel in the area. Really cool business with great people. Hal and Alexa are the best. Something fun and affordable for the individual or family or large groups. They also sell new, high-tech equipment at prices that wont break the bank.
