Lots of value priced tools, mostly from China.Things like tool boxes and rolling tool chests. Air compressors and wrenches. Lots of welding equipment, spring clamps, solar panels and hoses. It’s well lit with Plenty of parking. It’s frequently crowded on weekends but check out was quick and painless. Friendly staff. I will shop there again.

Ive been thinking about this a while and I think I have to share my experience. The store is great - selection is great - prices great- no problems there. I came in to pick up a new jack for my car during a sale, which of course comes in a large heavy box (90 pounds). They offered to help me load it into my car, which sounded good to me.My car is a little unique - the engine is behind the front seats and there is a clear glass cover over it (about the size of a windshield). There is a trunk right behind that. I pulled my car to the curb, got out and opened the hatch, and said to the two employees that there was only one way it will fit because of the size of the box, and gestured that it will need to go long-ways, so the box will be in the trunk and resting up so that it does NOT touch the glass. I turned around to close my car door and grab a towel to put under the box and these two employees had already prompted lifted the jack and dropped it directly onto my glass engine cover, and pushed it so that all of the dirt and sand on the box grinds into my glass!Frustrated, I re positioned the box myself to avoid further damage and drove home, and spent an hour or so trying to polish the scratches out of the glass. I understand its not normal to have a glass cover in the back of the car, but I just cant believe after my clear instructions and common sense that placing a dirty, 90 lb box on top of glass and then sliding it around would be an action anyone would take.Ill admit that I did not contact the store or the manager about this incident - because what are they going to do? The damaged glass totals something like $650 and all they sold me was a $100 jack. I dont hold it against the store specifically, but I have to say Im frustrated to have spent the last 3 years meticulously protecting that piece of glass only to have it damaged in a few minutes by someone else not paying attention.Thats also the reason for the bad rating - if I had loaded it myself, I would completely accept the fault as my own, but thats not the case.

Had a great experience at this location. As you may it may not know Harbor Freight is one of those unique places that has a little bit of everything tool wise, and this location did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and the store is clean and well laid out. Prices are fair and not much that we couldn’t find. I even have my eye on a nice roll cart tool storage that I just may go back and get.

This store in Winter Garden is hit or miss most of the time they have low inventory. Try to find help Ya good luck with that. Most of the time the only people you see in the store are at the register.And the check out process is SLOW!!!

Great store awesome accessories and tools, drills wrenches tools boxes flash lights. Lawn equipment and needs just about everything a garage needs to have. Bought a small power washer to wash the deck and did a great job. And the workers there are very helpful.

The store and the employees great. The new direction for corporate not so much. They were killing it with the 20% coupons and the little freebies. Personally I think this model was nice and keeping patrons coming here instead of ACE, Northern Tools, Tractor Supply and others. Now I really don’t consider HF first, especially now that they are pushing InSide Track membership!😔

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.theres a very large selection of everything I would think one could possibly need to build or make or create pretty much anything. Their prices are very competitive, especially if you utilize their online coupons.theyre hobby and Craft section is quite expensive for the novice and enthusiast alike. They also have a lot of very specialized tools that you wouldnt find in one of you a big box stores like home Depot or Lowes. Overall: customer service is top-notch, inventory and selection is extensive and varied, and their prices are usually lower than the competitors, especially when using their coupons! I highly recommend this place, its fantastic!!!

I purchased an air compressor at Harbor freight. I wasn’t sure of the purchase and the lady checking me out said don’t worry you have 90 days just keep the receipt. It was too heavy and too big I retuned it 2 days later. I never even plugged it in. While I was returning it the guy said we keep $28. Who reads a receipt especially when an employee says no problem? Not one time did the lady ever mention anything about a charge😡. But she assured me that I can return just keep the receipt but what she didn’t tell me was there is a fee. Either she needs training or it’s a scam!!!! Probably both. Never again Harbor freight.

If, you are looking for DeWalt tools stop! This is not the right store. If, you are looking for no frills “cheap” tools. This is the place for you and they likely have what you need. None of this stuff is made in America. So, don’t come here saying otherwise.I come here to browse and supplement my tools with “stuff”. Like I needed an extension for my drill and it cost $1.00 versus $10.00 at a big box. I will not buy any power tools because they simply don’t meet my need, but may meet yours.The location is convenient and the staff is friendly.

I just purchased a generator spending over $500 today. The generator would not fit in my car so I asked could they hold it until I return with a bigger vehicle. The employee that brought the unit told me bluntly if I was not back within an hour the item would be resolved. Please train your employees on the mission of the company.

I give Harbor Freight in Winter Garden Florida a 2 1/2 * star this place is good to shop is the few employees to the manager down a few I was there shopping and it wasnt easy to find someone working the floor even other customers was looking it took Ill say 40min to fine someone and when I did its seems that employe was annoyed asking to help to fine items I believe it was the manager so I left so did other customers the next day I showed up there again to finish my list and I had someone that was happy to help and she did until the same manager told her to do something else she was surprised like I was but this time he helped until he got annoyed again I did told hem I have a list I winded up getting what I needed from the female that came around once awhile smh also they dont do military discounts bad a 20% would be great but nothing sorry to the ones that served or still serving.

I bought a laser heat meter. It stop working after one use.i lost the receipt but all they have to do is enter my ph.# and it’s there.well,I ask the big man there if I could exchange it for a good one and with a questionable attitude and without checking the system told me NO. I’m out of $25 dollars. harbor freight is out of a very loyal customer of decades not to mention with many friends that won’t go there again either.

On October 18, I visited this HB store. Quite possibly the worst shopping experience Ive encountered and Ive visited multiple HB stores in the past 10 years. In a nutshell, I entered the store precisely at 5:46p-5:48p, the door already CLOSED. The sign clearly states this store closes at 6pm. The associate who opened, who goes by the name of Luis, was rude with his message about The store closes in 10mns. Okay, I get that and who cares, do you want my money or not. Mind you another gentleman entered along with me, as well others entered afterwards. For the next 5-7mns while inside, all you heard was The store closes in 10mns, 5mns, etc. No one assisting guests with their needs. The business closes at 6pm, NOT 15mns before. I understand that you want to leave early, everyone does, but the customers dont have to suffer because of that. To the GM of this store, you need to have coaching conversations with your associates about PROPER guest experience.They get 2 stars because of the service, but theyre saved due to having the tools I needed.

I called and ask if they had the hydraulic bottle jack they tell me they had it so I go to the store when I get there they did not have i was very upset riding half hour for nothing

Its harbor freight, I have had my good and bad experience here. Its a hit or miss if you will get something that is good quality. Things are cheap but quality isnt always the best.

For the average person this is a great place to shop for occasional use tools, etc. Super attentive service and floor personnel that know where things are. Lowes in Ocoee should take a few lessons.

Large supermarket type of store. Tools for almost any trade. Excellent quality hand tools with lifetime replacement guarantee. Most all tools are made for HF in China, so prices are pretty reasonable. Brands are all in house brands made for them. Ive found in the past that many of their power tools are of fairly poor workmanship. Parts break in a short while after minimal use. Recently HF has started phasing out their Chicago Electric brand and added several new names. They have a reasonably priced line called Bauer which seems well made and the 1/2 inch 20 volt drill I bought is now a year old and working fine. I love this tool. Overall this is a good place for homeowners quality tools.

Oct 13th, Winter Garden. Great help, was able to snag some stuff I wanted initially in the add. Shout out to the manager I know the email list that went out came from his desk. Came away with a couple special grabs; bolt tester, couple other items along with my brand new red Bauer impact wrench kit for 60$. I think I might have got the last one in stock too.😜😜😜

Purchase a canopy that came broken. Got a refund but it will take 7 days to get my funds back. I just lost my job because of a 7 days delay on a refund. When I made the payment they took the money on the spot out of my account but the refund takes 7 days that is not acceptable.

I frequent this store for my project needs, and Vincent is always extremely helpful, nice, and very respectful. And today when I was in, he was helping me with a return and needed a managers number to put in the system.so he called one of his managers and a gentleman came over and very politely helped Vincent in the system. Right after that he needed another managers number. So he asked Dianna and she came over extremely agitated and proceeded to act extremely rude toward Vincent. Speaking loudly criticizing him for forgetting how to do something in the system, loudly enough to where me and several customers heard. Im sorry but no management or employee in a place of leadership should treat anybody that way especially the people that work for them. I was embarrassed for Vincent, and she(Deanna or however you spell it) should be ashamed of herself. She does not belong in any leadership position or working in any form of customer service. I will be calling corporate to make a formal complaint. Store will receive 5 stars when something is done about her behavior.

Another one of my favorite places to go. I do have to say that they are getting better quality tools and many other things than they used to have. I replaced my old might welder with one of the new Vulcan welders that they are now selling and it works flawlessly. I purchased the smaller migmax 140 along with the separate spool gun for running aluminum wire with and it also works great. Ive also bought a few of the different small engines they sell ( predator) and all have worked fine along with 2 generators small and large. Their prices are very competitive, warranties are great and have never had a problem returning something that I decided I didnt want or was wrong for whatever reason.

A great hardware store. Not huge like a box store, but big enough to have plenty of inventory. Not a name brand store, but priced right items. The staff was friendly and helpful. Checking out was a bit cumbersome and unorganized but it was hurricane madness. I picked up a few extra hurricane box items and saved a few dollars. Worth a visit!

My first time in a Harbor Freight. The power was out, but the staff was very helpful and directed me around the store. They made sure I could see, as the back of the store was much darker than the front. It wasnt anytime that my cell phone couldnt help me with. They seemed quite busy, even with the power issue. I give them credit for remaining open so that customers could purchase items to complete a project. I would definitely return.

I made my selection at the winter garden store. I walked to the front of the store to make my purchase. When i got there I stepped in line, at the third cash register, and was quickly informed I needed to wait in the long line at the center register and wait to be called by one of the cashiers who would call out next in line. Im guess Im an old fashion kind of guy as in when Im ready to check out I choose the line that Ill wait in. I feel its up to the shoppers to sort themselves out when its time to make their purchase. At first their system seems to be good. In reality it only benefits the cashiers who can finish with the customer they have and simply walk away whenever they choose. Can you guess what happened as soon as it was my turn to hear the magic word, next? Yes you guessed correctly. One of the cashiers decided to take their break, or what ever he decided to take, and simply walked away leaving the ever growing line of shoppers. I can only guess that the gentleman who walked away was a member of management as Im sure that a cashier would probably be made to go straight back to their cash register and be reprimanded. I dont know who made the change to a well loved system of checking out of choose your own line, but Id guess its the manager who likes his freedom from customers whenever he/she thinks theyve had enough.

They have a good variety of homeowner grade tools. They have a better variety of types of tools than most box store tool departments.

The 1st location I went to in Apopka did not have what I was looking for, but they were able to use their computer system to find a location that did have it. And they were kind enough to even give me their address so that I could GPS my way to the location that had the tool that I needed. I love doing here it is even if I dont know exactly what Im looking for their staff is helpful, knowledgeable and willing to walk down the aisles with you to help you find it.

Large assortment of tools at reduced prices. Not brand names you would find in other big box stores, but they work and they are less expensive. I just purchased a 4000 watt Predator Generator and a wheel kit. Put it together and it started on the first pull. Saved $hundreds$ of dollars. Also pleased with my tool purchases. Check this store out. If you are like me you will want to buy something whether you need it or not. LOL. Check out their flyer offering additional discounts.
