A great little place to get discounted goods. Cheap prices for name brand cereals, cat & dog food, canned goods, chips, ice cream, frozen meals, cleaning supplies, etc. I would suggest that you check expiration dates. Very nice and helpful staff.

I love this place. I found rounds of brie, cheap. There is always something new. I bought a box of Scoobie treats, I thought they were for dogs, so did my dog.

I drove from Lakeland and prices were 2x of that in Lakeland. Coffee was 6.99$ compared to 3.50$ It’s fine if you are in the area but don’t make a special trip.

Five stars all the way. With ridiculously low prices and a consistently warm, welcoming staff this is one of those increasingly rare hidden gems. Take the time to visit, then enjoy being a regular.

Friendly family owned store. Amazing prices,has made a huge difference in our budget for the family. Had an issue with a box of food, i mentioned it in conversation while checking out and she offered an item of food priced the same as the one I had an issue with. I never asked the owner to do this, I wasnt upset and expected nothing. I was very impressed and pleased with how she handled the situation. Love this store.

Discount foods is a great local place to shop due their prices on most things are almost half the full price at the store. Im not the greatest coupon person so this is the next best solution for me. We love to go in and grab a few items. The store is clean and in a great location. See you all later!

Beware if you have fragrance allergies.We used to love shopping here, as they have great deals, and would often leave with one to two hundred dollars or more worth of product. If you have no issues with fragrances, youll find lots of good deals.If you do, however, beware. They are using what seems to be an odor neutralizer, spraying it often, and it continues to build up. It is strong to the point I could not park in their parking lot and instead would park in the closed beverage castle next door.My girlfriend would go in and do the shopping, but the fragrance is built up to the point that she would come out covered in the chemical, causing me issues. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to shop here.Again, if this sort of thing does not cause you issues, they have great deals and are worth the stop.

Large selection of deep discount groceries and snacks. My first visit and stocked up on a lot of things. Bought a lot, spent a little. Cashier was friendly and appreciated my business. Ill be back, and often.

I used to enjoy going in every once in a while but last month the crotchety older woman working gave us such an attitude about moving things on a shelf that we wont be back.Oh, YOU moved the cake mixes around to find THESE? Really? You just had to do that?!Yes, I moved cake mixes because I have food allergies. But, I didnt make a mess. Everything was put back on the shelf.Maybe insted of just piling things up, group them together so people dont have to INCONVENIENCE you by spending hard earned money in your store.

The savings are great on the prices there. We like to go there. They usually have a good variety of items cheap.

I shop at both stores i know the owners for years i even worked for them for 5 yrs you couldnt meet more special people than them they have everything and prices are so low cant bet it. Know place they help you in anyway they can i go there 2 or 3 times a week they get new stuff in twice a week sales clerks are sweet ladies also if you get a chance stop by the store in L ake Alfriad or the one one spirit lake road they have some o f everything

I like this little store it has an over abundance of items for most of the time less than 1/2 of what u would pay at a regular store we especially like to go there to get our cereals (most name brands) and snack cakes (most r little debbies) theyre so many items I cant name them all but if u dont mind a little dent in a box or a can item (nothing major and not all is dented) give this little store a try itll be worth it .. :)

Horrible customer service .Staff are very unfriendly do not greet or acknowledge their customers. A customer should not have to greet the employees Im a regular customer. There was a young lady at the register i said hi it seems rude that you dont speak i asked if she was okay. She continued ringing my items. I purchased an item for $1.99 and proceeded to pay with a debit card she said it cost more to run a debit card I said would you rather me pay cash she said yea since Im so rude.She continued saying that she does talk to her customers but shes so rude walking away from the register she continued to talk to apparently herself because she was walking .

Ii went to a super market the other day & spent over $2o on just 4 items. But ii went to the Discount Foods store & spent over $20 & left with 4 bags full worth of groceries. The store looks small but they have alot to choose from & not to mention at really great prices...
