My preferred mechanic! I dont even live in Florida anymore, but I always try to get my car repaired here if I can while visiting. They are trustworthy and have a great standard of customer service. My car needed a bunch of work but it only took a day and was more affordable than other mechanics. My car is driving smoothly and is back to blowing ice cold AC. I recommend them to everyone!

This repair shop has been around a very long time. We take both our cars here for oil changes, alignments and other, major work when its needed. Their prices are good, and the service is excellent. They always explain whats needed and what will be done and are helpful with any questions or requests you might have. These guys do it right!

I came in for what I thought would be a big issue and thanks to the help from Joshua I found out that it was something quick. What was the big help though was eventually my fiancés car had to come in, we literally had to push it ourselves down the street, once we brought it in Joshua and his team were able to figure out the issue, offer us a solution, and they even offered a discount for us. To top it all off they were even having a customer appriciation day with a food truck so we got free food out of it too. It was truly a great experince. I highly recommend them for their service and trustworthy work!

The staff there are all super awesome and friendly. I had the pleasure of speaking to Larry and Erika today, I called and said I had four tires that I would supply and need them mounted, balanced, and I want to keep the rears since they still had plenty of tread.Erika got me in same-day on very short notice, and Expert Car Care took care of me. I was waiting a little longer than I would have liked, but calling up two hours before they close, I didn’t expect to be seen at all so I am very happy.Erika is incredibly nice - and wonderful to talk to. I typically do all of my car service myself as I am able to do everything but tires and transmissions, however I decided to give them a shot because of a recommendation from one of my friends. From what I overheard Larry and Erika quote people, their prices are incredibly reasonable, and they are a very honest business (which can be difficult to find when it comes to mechanics because of lack of consumer knowledge). For example, Larry quoted a customer for what the original diagnosis/quote resulted in, but upon starting to work on the car they realized that it was a different, cheaper issue. They didn’t HAVE to call the customer to tell them that, the customer wouldn’t have known; but because he did tell the customer, and the final invoice came out cheaper than the estimate, Expert Car Care has my trust, my respect, and I will absolutely be recommending them to people I know that need work done on their cars.

If I can give zero on my review I would. We have been bringing our cars there for several years with no issues with the past managers. But this new manager Larry gave us a run around for two weeks and my car still wasn’t fixed after they told me that $700 piece would fix it so I had approved them for them to fix it since they told me that was the issue, after two weeks of my car still not running they charge me for the piece of $700 I had to pay. Then they had the nerve to tell me they were going to throw away the piece that I had paid $700. I would NOT recommend this place to anybody don’t bring your car there because they don’t have the experience workers!!! Don’t waste your money!!

James is awesome, the manager is awesome as well. As soon I enter the shop I am always taken care of. They understand my needs and they fix what need to get done. I needed an oil change. Expert Car care gave me the oil I needed, at about $20 lower than all other places I called. They also fully checked my car out and discovered my battery at 54%. This place is a joke, you make an appointment because a part needs to be ordered and no one there can do their job properly and call you to let you know the part didn’t come In. Gave them a second chance but they blew it. No customer service what do ever.

I will not go anywhere else! I was new to the area and didnt realize my car needed a full synthetic oil change. The cheapest in town ran $80, until i found this little gem! It was only $49!!! And two days ago I brought my new car in for an alignment with Jason and i couldnt believe the price! Over $30 cheaper than other shops in town, $61 including tax! They always have specials going on and take care of the customers! I always dread taking my car to a shop because they always end up saying you need all this unnecessary work done, not this place, make an appointment, in and out! Expert Car Care has taken care of my car for over 10 years. I recently purchased a newer car 2017 and the battery died on me. Of course they were there for me as usual and not only put in a new battery, but changed my oil as well. (It was time) They are always professional and I feel like family when I walk in. Its very comforting knowing they will take care of all my car needs. Not to mention the upgrade to their lobby area, makes the wait a pleasure.

As someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars, I always used to have my dad with me to be my guide. Since my parents are in a different state, I was always scared to go to a mechanic by myself. I was hoping to support a small local shop with great coffee in the lobby.But... ordered online 4 tires at an awesome price! scheduled an appointment for next day 11-1.email did say in very small letters that someone will call to confirm appointment, i did not receive a call nor did i think much of it.I arrived at end of my appointment window.No record for my reservation or appointment!No such tires are available and seem to have been out of stock for a while!Next price up is 60% higher!To me it sounds exactly like a bait and switch! text book!1. confirming order and appointment online of affordable not available tires!2. claiming appointments need to be confirmed by them, but no attempt to do so prior to actual time or at all!3. offering another product 60% higher.4. not bothering to correct the inventory on website!good luck

Used to be a well run shop. Recently went there for an oil change and brake check. The service was terrible. Receptionist was not wearing a mask, misquoted me on the price of services twice, then asked me to sign a quote that was over the amount she had stated. Walked out and will now go elsewhere for auto services.

They couldn’t figure out that I needed a new fuel pump, so I kept driving off the lot getting told there’s nothing wrong with my car although the “check engine” light was still on.Each time I drove away, I’d break down in the middle of the road somewhere, and have it get towed back to the place. It wasn’t until 4 times of ME breaking down and THEM denying that There was a problem that they finally realized what it could be.They also replaced my A/C and rebuilt my transmission, however, 3 months goes by and BOTH THE A/C AND TRANSMISSION start having the same problems that they said they fixed.I sent an email to the main manager that was out of town to aware him of my issues, and I receive a text in ALL CAPS from him a few days later trying to justify the place and blame the issue on me. Luckily I was able to get the work warrantied... but the fixes didn’t last long. I’m again sitting with the same issues I had months ago.Faulty car or cheap, rude service? Most certainly was the most money I’ve ever spent on my car...I really wanted to trust these guys, but my experience with them was not as good as What other people’s experiences have been.

Service was excellent. The office staff and mechanics were really nice, honest people. The place is clean and cool inside and they offer great coffee options. Work was completed on time. My car has been driving like a gem ever since.

This is the third time Ive come here to get my tire patched up after running over a screw. Each and every time, the person helping me is courteous and knowledgeable. I brought my car in to take care of some issues under an extended warranty that I purchased. I found out that the policy was a rip off since it did not cover anything except my AC. However, Tom and Larry always kept me updated while trying to work with this horrible warranty company. They had to contact the warranty company multiple times an wait on hold for a long period each time. I decided to go ahead and get my AC fixed since the warranty company authorized it. However, once they did all the work and contacted the warranty company for payment, the warranty company said the claim was not authorized. I called the company along with Tom and he really fought for me to get this claim paid, rather than just leaving it up to me. They provided excellent customer service from beginning to end and their prices are fair and reasonable. They were always professional when I called in and they worked quickly to get my car back to me. I will always go back to them and refer them.

This was my first visit to Expert Car Care. I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. They were on time and took my car in as scheduled. The waiting area is nice and comfortable with plenty of outlets to plug in and complimentary coffee. They did not try and sell me anything extra. What impressed me the most was they fixed the cover beneath my car, it had been lose and making sounds, without even charging me or trying to sell me a new one. They put some zip ties on it and that did the trick. You do not get customer service like that very often these days. I will be going back.

Love this place. Scotty always takes care of me. His team always communicates clearly about what they are doing and what I should expect. They move quickly and they have a clean, cool office with good coffee and cookies. Ive never seen a more inviting auto repair place.

Example: Last year they determined that my mechanical issue was a recall, and sent me right to the dealership - no diagnostic charges. They could have charged me thousands, but instead saved me that! I called and made an appointment for the next day. I got there early and they took my car early. got me in and out quickly. My AC was blowing warm and expert car care quickly solved the issue, saving me from the horrible Florida heat. They are my go-to for car maintenance for years now. Cant recommend enough.

Easily the best oil change experience I’ve ever had. They let me know of a few issues to keep an eye out for on my car, but didn’t pressure an upsale at all. Waiting area was really nice and had taped indicators for 6 ft social distancing too.

Hey ladies!!! I have found a great place to get your vehicle repaired!!! Being a lady we need extra special care and guys that will take care of us without having to worry about over charging or just plain not being honest! I have used them a few times and was very satisfied. I got a nail in my tire and pulled in to get the price that’s when Manny told me “no charge” and I can fix it right now! He took the tire off fixed it and checked all my tires then put the right amount of air in all tires! I was out of there in less than ten minutes! Thank you Manny and Anthony for a great service a lady can depend on! I wanted to get an oil change today but they were very busy which is a good sign LADIES!!!

Avoid this place like the plague. You will regret it! Ignore the response by the owner that there is no record of my visit. This same response is given multiple times to other customers in this feed. This is a way to discredit the customer so they they may continue in their shady practices. Buyer beware!!

Big props to Expert Car Care. Needed a tire plugged, called them and 10 minutes later I stopped by. In another 10 minutes the tire was plugged and I was on my way. And they didnt charge for the work, just said I could tip the fellow who plugged the tire, if I liked. I did. Will definitely use them again.

My car died on me recently and had to call AAA and I was in a bind and the AAA tow truck convinced me about this place being a AAA approved place and took my car there. This place charged me $568 for a starter motor, after some discussion gave me 10% discount. I was told the part cost was ~$360 about and I was told it’s 1.5 hrs of labour to change it.Here’s the thing, when I looked up for part cost online including OEM part was in the range of $70 - $200.I understand the way these business works and I get that part. But when I simply asked I see these part is available for much cheaper, why are you so expensive, the way they reacted was quite rude and obnoxious.Before I picked up the car, i called them and asked for a quote to do an another job and they gave me a quote of ~$1100 and I told, another auto shop had quoted me 650$ and had not had a chance to get it done and asked why is it so expensive, at the drop of a hat he dropped the price to $860, that’s exactly when he lost my trust and that’s what made me look up the price for the starter motor which I had already committed to.For those who care, these guys did not feel the need to wear face mask even when they are interacting with customer so closely while checking out no plexiglass or any form of protection.

I had my new tires shipped to Expert Car Care in Winter Park to have them installed. My car had zero vibration before installation of the new tires. After installation the car had a pretty severe vibration. I took the car back and they balanced the tires again. It still vibrated badly. I took it back again and they said that 3 of my wheels were bent and showed me one on the balancing machine. It appeared that the outer rim was bent out. I asked how it could get bent like that and the mechanic said they are soft wheels. I asked why there was no vibration before they installed the new tires and he said that the old tires must have worn in to offset the bent wheel. I dont buy it. I think the wheels were bent by the installer. I called once and stopped by twice since then to talk to the owner to see if he could help me out with new wheels and mounting, but he has yet to call me. If I dont get a call soon, I plan to get new wheels and have another installer inspect my old wheels and give me their impression on how the wheels got bent. Stay tuned.7/18/18 Update: still no contact from the owner. I suggest going elsewhere for service. I plan to have my wheels inspected and entertain legal action.7/29/18 Update: so the company response to this is completely false. Please tell everyone how I was contacted! Quit the B.S. I have never been contacted by Expert Car Care even after 2 calls and two visits. The owner obviously cares little about the satisfaction of his customers. I had the wheels balanced 3 times before being told the wheels were bent and the reason they are bent is because they are soft. You know your tire tools are capable of bending wheels and if you keep lying about it you might end up explaining it in court.

This car care center is really friendly and helpful. They are so quick. I see that they are busy and can not manage sometimes. Last visit I ordered a tire with them but we got it on the third try. I did not understand what was going on but they also did not. Nicely they did a %10 discount as an excuse. Steve is my favourite there. I think you will be happy with the service.

Whenever I have an auto issue I can count on these guys. They always provide low prices and great service. I have come to these guys two or three times for minor issues (like plastic coming off from underneath my car) and they have fixed them... FOR FREE! Truly guys of great character. When it comes to bigger issues they still offer low prices and great quality work. Highly recommend!

Being a women and dealing with mechanics can be hard experience at times. And since first mechanic that I went to for 3 years died, who was great to me and family God Rest his Soul, having to find a trusty worth mechanics after has been very difficult to say the least.Many mechanics always assume I know nothing and try to get me with over pricing or suggesting things I dont need all the time. I am no expert about cars but I know my fair share or least try learn and do my research before I do anything and it insulting how bad they are at lying. That said after going to them after 3 different mechanics this year this is the first place that treated me with respect, took time to answer my questions without rushing me or giving me bs blanket statements, and were honest. Also doing price comparison online just now they are more than fair. I will most certainly be back for any future maintenance for my car . Also thank you Monty for your great customer service!

They got me in fast, fixed my problem and nothing more or less. I am grateful for the exceptional service and honest, friendly staff! Larry and Anthony were both great and did not sell me anything that I did not need. They actually told me that some of the things that I felt needed to be done were not yet necessary and they saved me quite a bit of money today. The lobby is comfortable and they have great coffee, too! I will return yet again.

Stay away!! My wife and I won a charity silent auction gift certificate. Unfortunately the company the certificate was for closed down by the time we went to use it. They said that Expert Car Care would honor and to contact them. My wife contacted Expert Care Care and talked with the manager and explained the situation. He said they would honor it and set an appointment for two days later. When the work was done and she tried to present the $300 gift certificate, the assistant manager refused to accept it. Long story short I showed up tried to get them to go the right thing and honor what the manager told my wife he would do. The assistant manager said that he nor the manager would have never said they would accept it. I asked if I could talk to his manager who was not there via phone and he refused even call him in front of me or let me talk to him. Very dishonest people. Stay away.Response to owner: I have no need to try and scam anyone. Im a very honest person and all I expect is a business to do the same. Reading other reviews on Google and Yelp, there are many other instances where your shop has bait and switched, lied, charged for services not performed, etc. Youre Better Business Bureau rating is a B- for the same reasons. All this shows your propensity for being dishonest. If only one person reads my review and stays away from your shop, I feel vindicated.

I took my car in for an oil change. They called and said battery was weak. Battery was less than 2 years old and I have had no issues with slow starts so I questioned this. Also, My husband had been told the same on his car and has now gone six months with no issue. When I went to pick up car, it would not start. I asked for a jump and they refused since I questioned them. Beware!

I wish I could give them a zero rating. These people are con artists. I took my 11-year-old BMW to them for a surging issue and was quoted nearly $700 for a throttle body that allegedly “would definitely fix everything”. The part was $230. They wanted another $300 in labor bringing the total to $1,000. I declined, and replaced the part for $230 from Rock Auto in about 2 hours with hand tools. The problem was also improperly diagnosed and ended up being a high-pressure fuel pump issue.Summary: if you are not extremely knowledgeable about mechanics, these people WILL attempt to rip you off blind. They have no clue what they’re doing.Edit response to owner: the point is that it wouldn’t matter if the part was engineered by NASA, your “AAA techs” misdiagnosed the problem and I would have been out $1,000 if I had trusted your shop. Additionally, the matter that your techs stated would “fix everything” was resolved for literally 20% of your cost, regardless of the source of the parts. Lots of people can throw parts at a problem until they eventually figure it out. You guys are complete jokers.

Went in for an alignment, the job was done but, the steering wheel was not aligned (tilts to the left). I was told by a friend that thats just someone being lazy. The steering wheel technically doesnt need to be aligned but it should be part of the alignment.

Been going to this place since i started driving! Ive never had any type of issue here, theyve always been very honest with me and never tried to sell me anything i didnt need. The staff and manager are very helpful and knowledgeable with all my questions. they even have the option of renting you a car at a very cheap rate if youre car is going to be in there for a few days. Dont think ill Be going anywhere else Unless i absolutely need to and i dont think Ive ever heard the words we dont do that or we cant do that come out of these peoples mouths!

Ive taken my car here multiple times & each time its all taken care of by the next day. Even on major work it only takes them 2/3 days max! They have a tow company that works with them and they just add it to your bill when the car is all fixed, which was very convenient. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer all of your questions honestly without trying to haggle you into doing extra work thats not needed. One of the best priced auto shops for the great quality you receive.

Their customer service is top notch, they are honest, caring & professional. My family & friends have used them for years and would never go anywhere else. If I could give a hundred stars, I would. You are in good hands with them.

Please DO NOT bring your car here. I usually don’t listen to people when they tell me bad things about an auto repair shop because not everybody is going to be happy about spending money. But this place is something else. They charged me $569 to replace a power steering cooler. It’s right across the street and I needed my vehicle so against my better judgment told them to go ahead and just fix it. All the guys that work there are laid back and nice, but still. They tried telling me that they buy the parts from strictly the manufacturer. Idk what manufacturer because when I looked up the part on the dodge website it was $107. Nowhere close to the $269 they got they got the part for. The same day I called 2 other shops in Casselberry and winter park just to tell myself I wasn’t being irrational with the price gouging, and they quoted me $288 from the first shop and $285 at the second shop. Just ridiculous. But I have no one to blame but myself because many people have told me how they got screwed when they went.

3/11/2020below is a reply to response received from this business for a review i posted on another site which has yet to post my reply. these are the most incompetent, dishonest mechanics i have ever had the displeasure of working with, and there have been a few. they make claims below regarding email trails and photographs they say prove their claims, i sure would like to see those, because they would certainly contradict the emails and pictures i have, and have sent them. never saw any of the ones they claim to have, another falsehood that ive come to expect from this establishment, regardless, the claim below states the florida department of agriculture sided with them. well its not me with the memory lapse as the department actually cited them and yes, i did receive and retain a copy of that citation. so james, you just let me know if a copy of that citation will refresh your memory, id be happy to provide one, in case yours got lost. in return, maybe you could provide me with the copies of emails and pictures that you say proved all, would love to see them!heres a response to your reply below James, trust there is no lapse in memory here, so let me refresh yours. the first repair was the radiator repair, the one where the windows were left down over night and it rained inside my car ruining documents and saturating my seats and carpet. the same one where your mechanic dropped a tool or something on my front bumber scratching the paint and leaving grease hand prints all over the interior. the one where my car was returned with the under carriage skid plate not reinstalled, which i was subsequently charded to reinstall a new one, do you remember now? i sent you pictures of that debacle. to make up for that genius repair, you tried to compensate me by doing a free installation of the cut out exhaust system. the one where the right side motor was banging off the floor board every time i hit a bump, you then tried to tell me it must have been a bad part when the motor quit working two weeks later, just brilliant! then the valve covers & gromet seals fiasco, which you replaced once with parts supplied by me, when that repair didnt work, again the excuse was parts. so, its done and im charged again with your parts (and those are leaking again) which didnt fix the problem either, there was still oil leaking. now the story is, its leaking somewhere else, the expaination was, we have to start at the upper most point and work our way down. that response was so ridiculous, i had enough of trying to give second chances and took the car to two seperate facilities with certified expert mechanics, one being a lincoln mercury dealership. both diagnosed the problem honestly, correctly and efficiently in one visit. your contention that there is an email thread and pictures confirming your initial diagosis is an out and out falsehood, which was probably made to fool readers of the review. just like your statement that the department of agriculture sided with you when i filed a formal complaint for the incompetency and deception. they didnt side with you sir, they cited you. I received and retained the copy they sent me in case youve misplaced yours. you should be more cautious with your statements and recollection of events. good to know youre glad that youre still on my mind and rest assured, i dont forget easily. as i informed you once before, i will continue to post reviews where ever and when ever i can, to keep other people from being ripped off as i was.​

This is the BEST auto repair shop Ive ever taken my car to. My husband and I have been bringing our cars to them for the last 11 years and not once have we been disappointed. They have amazing customer service and they are always working hard to get me in and out as fast as they can. The owner and his son are the sweetest men and they always bring a smile to my face.
