To Looking at an insane Covid shutdown and totally reinventing the comic book online sales technique. These wild and crazy guys also have a heart of gold and have always made me felt welcome and special.

This is a well organized and orderly comic shop. It has a fair amount of comic book volumes for anyone whos interested to read a book episode on the character. It has current issue series and a few back issues available. For all you Funko collectors out there, The Comic Shop got a huge amount of figures for you to invest. Come check it out!

The employees were extremely helpful and kind. The comics were reasonably priced and even my wife who isnt in to comics found books there she found interesting.

Used to go to the bar and sing karaoke. They also had a nerd speed dating at one point. A super fun place for nerds to go and find friends!

It is a very small shop, but I’ve been going here for over a year and love it! The staff are very kind, funny, friendly, and helpful people. They have big selection of comics, Funko pops, and other collectibles at really good prices!

I been coming to A Comic Shop since 2007. It has been a one of the foundation places for the nerd community here in Orlando. The staff have always been some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The best part is that they really only deal with new stuff. They arent worried about getting those old gems to sell to people. They want to bring new people into comics. They will give you their honest opinion on what is good and what is bad. Its been a home away from home for me for a very long time. All I have to say is continue the good work.

Not your standard comic book shop. There is no access to the boxes only what is set out.

I love this shop. Its small, but the atmosphere and the staff make it wonderful and even a little nostalgic. Plus its right next door to the Geek Easy, which makes it a nerd paradise. This place is well worth the hour and a half drive my wife and I make to come visit every few months.

This place ROCKED. the dude working there was exceptionally helpful and sold me on the new Batman books, Domino, and X-men Red. Its a small shop but its well stocked with newer graphic novels and recent back issues. Everything was super easy to find. Thanks so much for helping me out. :)

Comfortable seating, live music, karaoke, and a great selection of beer staples makes the Geek Easy a fun place to hang out with friends or to just chill and read your comic pulls. The bar food isnt as great as it used to be, but it isnt bad either. I particularly recommend their spicy burger The Fire Nation for a strong flavor that goes well with a stout.As a warning, if youre looking for a quiet place to drink, look elsewhere. There are loud events going on every night of the week, which are lots of fun if youre expecting that environment, but can be taxing if you just want to enjoy your beer in peace.

Really friendly staff. Good variety. Im only giving it 4 stars because I bought the first four comics of a series last week with the promise of #5 being available this week, but they said it was sold out and out of print when I returned. They did recommend another store but that place was just awful.

Loved the shop! The employees were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was awesome, and they hooked me up with some Miles Morales comics. Even if youre not a comic fan, you will be by the time you leave. Theres a little something for everyone here 👍.

Hands down the best comic book shop I’ve ever been to. I have been a customer here for about four years and it’s the people who keep me coming back. Oral is so nice and knowledgeable. I love coming in and finding out more about the upcoming new series. If you want a great comic book shop and with a fun relaxed feel this is the spot for you.

Made a special trip here before heading to the airport and so glad we did! Nice looking shop with great staff. Eric was super friendly showed us the lay of the land. That lounge area is sweet! Love that back issues are donated to troops. Keep it up yall! Hopefully we can make it back someday!

Fun venue. We did karaoke on Friday night and had a good time. Feel like they need more tables and seating. Wouldve been nice to have a small selection of food too. Good prices. Karaoke needs to have a queue of who the next few people are too. Only 1 bathroom so it gets a bit of a wait for that.

Went for karaoke night at the geek easy. Oral was a very animated host. Also purchased many comics there. The staff was a delight. Unabashedly sharing their knowledge of everything and making suggestions that will be taken to heart, and never making you feel ashamed if you had a moment of ignorance or two. Everyone from the bartender to the cashier were simply a joy!

Been in the shop twice. Once several years ago and it didnt leave me with much of an impression. Then a couple of years ago I passed by again and the guy at the counter was incredibly friendly, which is a primary component of a good shop.The layout is confusing, because the store itself was very small, but in the back they had a very large nerd bar that they ran on nights and weekends. Not sure why you wouldnt just have the store use the main space. That may have changed since I was last there. Anyway, its a good store. Worth a look.

The Geek Easy has an AMAZINGLY selection of beer and the food is unique and delicious. Theres no smoking, they have karaoke, board games, and its attached to a comic shop so its basically everything you could ask for. But that seems to be just the problem. It is SO insanely popular that its difficult to find a place to sit and sometimes even stand. They need a bigger location to accommodate the large number of patrons that frequent the bar. I have left upon arrival many times just because of how crowded it is.

I found this shop back in April and immediately found a GREAT place to pick up my comics, weekly the guys always say hello. Theyre SUPER knowledgeable in the comic story lines. I cant tell you how fortunate I am to have this place conveniently close and always look forward to visiting.

Started getting back into comics and walked in to this place as its close to home... glad I did! Great selection of current run comics and TPBs (no older back issues to speak of, though) and a nice selection of comics related merchandise. If they dont have it, they will order it, too. However, what makes these guys great is that they have the best staff I have ever encountered-- knowledgeable, friendly, and everyone is perfectly eccentric in their own way. I enjoy Wednesdays again thanks to them.

Great selection of comics, staff are attentive, and theyre very much willing to special order any comics for you if its not available. Most comic shops look the same. This one stands out with its comic shop and fun Greekeasy warehouse in the back. The staff greets you upon entering, very friendly. Its an open environment to comic lovers and conversation. This is the only comic shop I have seen that offers so much value to its customers. The warehouse has a bar and is a fun setting for music, performance, cocktails, games, and conversation.

Im a huge comic book fan and I love to read the comics before heading to there hidden bar and arcade spot in the back. Good burgers and drinks. This is ultimate geek hangout, you can let your geekiness loose!

Great staff and selection.

As a first time customer, I was shown around the store by the manager who was very knowledgeable. The hangout area was very impressive to say the least. Though the series I was inquiring about had a very limited selection, I purchased two items and am very pleased with them. I will undoubtedly return soon, as well as promote the establishment to others.

Awesome at helping you find something youll love. If you go there for a while, they will start to know you and your tastes and will suggest things when they come out that you would be interested in.My comic book interest went from meh to borderline obsessed because they opened my eyes to so many different types of comics.They have events often, and its always fun. Obviously its for geeky-minded individuals, but you dont have to be full blown nerd to appreciate the entertainment.

Came in here after moving from South Florida and had a fantastic experience. The Staff greeted me warmly and even gave me a tour of the whole store. They really took their time with me! The store looks great and has a terrific geeky feel. The Geek Easy section is super cool, with tables and chairs to lounge about. They are building a bar which should be pretty exciting.They have a fantastic netflix-like comics program where you can rent issues to read at your leisure and return once youre done; all for a low monthly fee (which includes a ton of other perks).If you live in the area, its well worth the stop.

Now my home away from home is Coliseum of Comics. But A Comic Shop just have that feel of a comic book store back from back up north. And now they are getting a bar. Getting drunk and reading comics should be awesome.

This place has a beautifully crafted comic book bar with arcade machines and a stage for karaoke nights. Its a great place to chill and read comics or talk shop with the regulars. The staff is more than helpful.

Kind of a small place. A lot of comics but still much smaller than other places Ive been. They have a back room but Im not sure what goes on back there because they dont really advertise about it. Ive seen it open pnce, there are tables and I think a bar back there. Generally nice place, but there are always people gathered right outside the door smoking and no way to avoid them and its a little small. Otherwise, a good comic store.

A wonderful place! Everyone is nice and knowable about comics. The Geek​ Easy in the back of the comic shop is a great place to grab a beer and burger!

Staff is friendly and helpful. The bartender there on Mondays knows a lot about the drinks and can offer a suggestion that is what you wanted without knowing. The events are also nice, a great place to spend a night after work.

Friendly and courteous staff. The store is perfectly organized and well stocked. The Geekeasy at the back is an awesome hangout with good food and drinks, video games, lots of boardgames, and regular activities like geeky karaoke and movie showings.

They have cool sessions and I love the comic book angle but the point of a speakeasy seems to be defeated when the front entrance is just wide open. A place for a diversity of beers but no special cocktail menu.

Im more into full-length written novels than comic books, with an occasional foray into graphic novels. I am, however, definitely into general nerding-out, and A Comic Shop and especially The Geek Easy, their bar, made me feel like I was in nerd heaven. From Captain America on the TVs to the multiple board games and tabletop RPGs in the corner, from the friendly owner to the inexpensive drinks and snacks...I plan to be back many times. A Comic Shop may turn me into a comic book nerd yet.

I was amazed when I entered this store. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. As soon as I told them it was my first time in the store I immediately received a grand tour of the facility. Theres a bar and grill in the back. They have wi-fi. Both staff members, I met that day, were very knowledgeable about the comics. If you are a comic book fan I definitely recommend you shop here.

Local comic book store with a bar in the back. Never went to a local place like this before and left happy. I loved the drink specials and the fact that the bar was playing the last airbender to a crowd of nerds and comic lovers. Would come again.

Even the bar is reasonably priced compared to other bars especially in the winter park areas its got cheap drinks not cheap quality but cheap price they have great variety of beer and drinks and decent snacks but its a comic shop who cares what they have to eat the great. Central Floridas A comic shop tops the list as best comic shop in Central Florida a comic shop is number 1 number 2 maybe Coliseum of Comic and it last place is Acme which may not be open for much longer. and yes Im fully aware but those arent all the bookstores but those are the ones worth noteing, ones you might go out of your way to drive to. if I still lived in Oviedo or Sanford I would come to a comic shop even knowing the shops how many comic shops are in between those places and a comic shop... This may sound like a verbal handy but they deserve it the staff are always great! Theyll put up with the annoying customers like myself that ask a lot of question

Good place to buy comics at the Winter Park area, friendly staff and have a great variety of comics and they got the Geekeasy bar for comics geeks thats freaking cool.

Clean,well ordered shop with a pretty large selection of comics,graphic novels, merch, and more. Excellent friendly staff help you out with any questions and after 6pm the back of the store opens to become a clean, simple, fun bar call The Geek Easy. Food and drinks are relatively innexpensive as well. A great place and a great experience.

Not many comics, mostly non super hero comics/Indie. Most of the store was trade paper backs with a few comics mixed in. Hard to figure out whats a comic and whats a tpb.that being said prices were very reasonable on comics and pops and you may be able to find a gem or two.
