I was short some money for my prescription and the technician helped me to get the rest. Super nice thing to do. I didnt even know what to say. I wish I asked her name to share w you but the staff here made me feel like they care.
We usually go here really late (between 11pm and 3am). The night crew are great and relaxed but also helpful. The self checkout makes it convenient to get in and out without a hassle. The neighborhood is good and I never have to worry about being out late there. Its one of the few places left thats 24 hours which I appreciate, since sometimes things come up outside of typical store hours.
Open 24 hours is so convenient. Always pleasant experience. Friendly staff and fast pharmacy
This review is for the pharmacy and not for the store. There is a chronic delay in this pharmacy in both getting your prescription and getting any form of an answer. On more than one occasion, a heart medication has become delayed because of the pharmacys handling. Additionally, the pharmacy sends out text/phone alerts stating that a medication is ready, but when you go to pick it up, the bewildered staff tells you your medication wont be ready until later in the afternoon/day. If you have to reach the staff by phone, I hope you have patience. The staff manually and repeatedly sends you through the automated flu shot message. Its infuriating to deal with this pharmacy, and I feel for the staff, but I wish something would change. On a positive note, they make it very easy to get your flu shot/COVID vaccine, for which Im very grateful.
Love this store!! The store is clean, well stocked, and the employees amazing and friendly. I love the coupons as well!!
By far the worst cvs pharmacy. We currently moved to the area and this is the 3rd time the pharmacy wait till the prescriptions are due to “order” them. My son’s doctor sent the prescriptions almost 2 weeks ago. Why wouldn’t they order prior.I literally pickup my prescriptions in hunter creek because this pharmacy is not reliable and it’s not healthy to have people lapse because their medication aren’t ready when they should be.IF YOU RELY ON DAILY MEDICATION, DO NOT TRUST THIS CVS
My husband was in the ER for a kidney stone. 3 prescriptions were called in for him and after he was discharged we headed to pick up the medications. Specifically the one for pain and nausea. Waited in line 15 min before I was helped. It seems as if there was only 1 tech and 1 pharmacist. They did call for backup at some point, but no response. I was told the rx wouldn’t be ready for 20 min, I went to go back to the car and there was a line of about 10 people waiting. I took my husband home and came back. Waited again, this time for about 10 min and got the 3 prescriptions for him and headed home. I got home and realized they did not give him the pain medication, but instead 2 from the hospital and a refill on a nasal spray. I called and I was told it was in a different bin, but it was ready. I turned around and came back, waited another 15 min to be assisted. I did attempt to call a manager during one of my many trips back and forth, but I sat on hold for awhile and gave up. I will be reaching out again tomorrow and moving all of my prescriptions. I am disgusted at the lack of compassion and customer service. Avoid this place
I would give this place zero stars if i could! Wow…to say they are the worst pharmacy is an understatement. We constantly are waiting days for medications that said they were filled and we get to the pharmacy and it never is. Each employee gives different answers and no one there knows what the heck is going on. We have to constantly call and check in when we need a medication because if not it never gets done??? Seriously the worst staff and pharmacy EVER! Go anywhere else but here if you enjoy your sanity and need your meds on time.
This place has horrible customer service. They have compassion and will waste your time. I stood in drive through line for over and hour just for them to say they couldn’t find me in the system. I had to pay for my prescription cash even though it was covered by my insurance. After having my insurance company verify calling the store and finally coming in person they are now saying they already refunded me. Which is a LIE no one had the citrusy to even apologize until after seeing me frustrated still walked away with no money
I have tried calling the pharmacy for three days to check on the status of a prescription refill and not once did they answer. On the third day I came to the store to check and explained that I have been trying to call and no one would answer. The tech guy at the pharmacy just gave me the a blank stare. I have seen more concern in the eyes of dead people. He then tells me that it wont be ready for 40 minutes. 40 minutes?? it was submitted to CVS 3 days ago This! This place needs to be shut down!! Fire the entire pharmacy department and hire competent people, hell, pick up any panhandler at an intersection, its better than the incompetent bafoons in this place.
Todays experience at the pharmacy left a lot to be desired. My sister-in-law had a prescription for Robitussin AC along with two other prescriptions to pick up. When she presented the prescription, Kate told her it was over the counter and to look in the cough and cold area. My sister-in-law, after repeated attempts to point out that it was a prescription item finally managed to contact the pharmacist on duty who tried once again that it was over the counter. She pointed out Robitussin AC and was told that they would fill it but it would take about an hour. The fact that two individuals did not recognize that this was for a Schedule V narcotic is disturbing. Furthermore, after an hour and a half, the prescription was not ready and they refused to estimate when it would be ready. When she got home, about 15 minutes later, there was a message on her answering machine saying it was ready.
Stop in to get an eyewash kit for someone who got something in their eye. I spent about 15 minutes looking through the store trying to find it. No luck. I asked the pharmacist what aisle they were on, and they sent me to the wrong aisle. Asked again, and they said that they would not tell me until they finish their backlog of calls…. Would give 0 stars if i could.
The drive through is always backed up, need more people to work the pick up lane. I waited 45 minutes 2 cars ahead of me in pick up lane. A guy goes to the 1st Covid test lane and was waited on for pick up before me and I had waited 45 minutes. I counted 10 cars that came and left after waiting a few minutes. This has happened more than once. I have to pick up my Dads medicine at least twice a month.
I asked for a transfer 5 times and still continue to not do it because my meds were 200 bucks here when i can get it at Publix for 40 bucks. Still haven’t done a transfer and 2 days without my meds cause they cant do the transfer. If you don’t have enough people to staff you should transfer all your people out and shut it down. Because the headache being in hold 5 times already with them has me up to here with it.
I have been going to this pharmacy for 3 years now and I’m sad to say that it has continued to decline. The idea that peoples medication should be treated with a sense of urgency and open communication is lost on these employees. Over the past several months I have not been able to get a hold of anyone on the phone when I have questions about my prescriptions. I have waited on hold for an hour multiple times just to have basic questions to be answered. I would go inside the pharmacy but the in store service takes just as long and my medical condition prevents me from standing in line for long periods of time. I am currently in the process of having all of my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy which is quite a chore because I have very complicated medical conditions. CVS should not be able to dispense medications if they can not make huge improvements and fast. It’s simply unacceptable.
Go to any other CVS for your prescriptions it took OVER 3 HOURS to fill one prescription. No one communicate with, the prescription was wrong. We had to wait another 30 min to get the correct one. They was a line of people that got taken care of before us and they only had half of the prescription. Absolutely ridiculous and Unprofessional the ladies working behind the cover did not care.
Do not come here for covid-19 rapid testing as its so not the case! I had an appointment at 4:40pm got there on time, never received a text message to proceed to the testing site. Was informed Id receive the results in 30 minutes. Its now 6:36pm and Im still waiting for the results. I called the pharmacy number and its routed to a call center outside of the area. I went to the minute clinic but there was no one there except a technician who was with another patient for an extended period of time. Lastly, you administer the test yourself. Please go somewhere else. As Im going to have to schedule another rapid test elsewhere.
This CVS pharmacy location is way understaffed and the employees at the pharmacy are overtasked. CVS needs to do something about this. The customers should not have to wait an hour and a half after their appointment time. They need better management or corporate management support for more staffing here.
Worst service i have ever seen in my life. The manager of this pharmacy should be fired. Ten cars line with one car taking 20 minutes
I have had multiple prescriptions refilled when they weren’t needed. Then I get daily calls from an automated service to pick up a prescription I don’t need. Nothing in the automated call allows the recipient to cancel the prescription. It won’t even let you connect to the pharmacy in question, but tells you to call them separately. Then I call and regularly wait 20-30 minutes to get to a pharmacist. I’ve now requested multiple times to have prescriptions canceled and to be removed from both auto refill and the 90 day supply programs. That still has not happened. Friday I received a call that a prescription I actually needed was ready, went in and it was not. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. After waiting 20, I overheard the cashier tell another customer it would be an hour. I went to check status and when my Rx wasn’t ready, requested to be called when it was… that was two days ago and now I’ve received c a call saying the prescription is ready in Clearwater, hours away! So i’m on hold again (currently 11+ minutes), trying to get it all squared away… and was sent to the COVID line instead of the pharmacist. It’s really unbelievable how many times they can mess things up!
CVS injured my shoulder when the stupid technician injected the Pfizer vaccine. Im under a orthopaedic doctor for shoulder injury SIRVA. SEE YOU SOON CVS.
Good they work 24 hours, but need more staff, too busy to handle the workload. Everytime have to wait for hours to get any prescription.
If we could give this place negative stars we would def give them -5 !!! They are very unprofessional, they bellite the customers when asking for assistance and treat you like if they are doing you a favor!! If you fight back you also get that feeling that they going to mess up your script! Also, when u go through the drive thru make sure you are not confused by the many signs posted incorrectly & get in the wrong lane, because they will make you move to correct lane, even if moving to that lane you are talking to the same person! Ridiculous! We are def going to find another place to go!!
CVS Winter Springs, Red Bug. Wish I could give negative stars. Horrible, just horrible pharmacy. I work in healthcare and am shocked by the lack competence when it comes to dispensing medication. You cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Ever. They never seem to have medication in stock & basically tell you sorry not sorry find another pharmacy. Doesn’t matter if you really need your medication or may have negative effects if you miss a dose. Only one Pharmacist, Gabriella, was ever helpful to me & I was so grateful. Walgreens, Publix or Walmart is your better bet. CVS is a huge chain so no excuses for this lack of customer care & service.
I never thought I might run out of gas waiting in line at the drive thru.
The worst location for prescriptions. The pharmacist and technicians will have every excuse in the book to not help the customer. Every single time. Go to another CVS, I guarantee you that the customer service is better than this pharmacy.
John the pharmacy manager is great and works for you. The same cannot be said about other pharmacists at this store, many of whom are floaters and have no accountability. The store itself is run down and shabby like most CVS stores nowadays. The lines and wait times here are notoriously long -- even Chick-fil-A has a better system!
Wheres the 0 star option? I was told 30 min to an hour wait for my daughters prescriptions. Almost 3 hours later was told 15 more min! Had I known almost 3 hours I would of went home!! So disappointed... as I normally dont have any issues here
Not the best experience. Appointments were not available online but the website said walk-ins were welcome. Arrived in and signed in on the kiosk. There were printed signs saying the wait times were not accurate and recommended you look at alternate locations for shorter wait times. Not sure how their wait times at other locations would be accurate. After 1 hour and 30 minutes the only person working at the clinic came out and said they were overwhelmed with COVID testing and were cancelling all walk-ins. The PA said she was by herself and unable to text or call patients who had signed in to the system. The PA did set an appointment for the next day. I understand there have to be concessions and that flexibility and understanding are virtues. But well into a year of this pandemic when companies are still struggling to adapt, with all the tech and options available to them, issues like this shouldnt still be happening.
Would give 0 if i could
Prescription was called in today at 1:30 pm. My husband went to pick it up at 8 pm. He was told it wasn’t ready and that they were TWO DAYS behind.
I have been waiting for my sons prescription for asthma since last night and its 3pm and the phone lines are horrible, cant get a hold of anyone. What to do?
By far the worse pharmacy and location. Never in my life have I waited so long and the actual pharmacist was rude and unprofessional. Overweight Latin lady wish I knew her name. Fire her!!!
Good to know this place is open 24 hours!!!!
Absolutely horrible service in the pharmacy. The pharmacist does not care and is rude. Waited 3 hours for a prescription and the pharmacist said it will be filled when its filled. While waiting wrong medications were given to customers and other customers were left waiting hours as well with no answer...watching there is no leadership and is ran chaotic
I have never been so embarrassed in my life. The pharmacist is so inconsiderate. Although Ive been coming to this pharmacy for the past 5 years he wouldnt even consider ordering my medicine into the pharmacy. He yells from behind his counter instead of speaking to me at the window. Im sure CVS doesnt care but u will no longer use this company for anything.
Long waits with no mask enforcement, especially if you’re a big loud mouthed coughing all over the store trump supporter. Time to find a new and perhaps braver pharmacy willing to speak up and/or remove the problem.
Was told I can walk in to get a vaccine, I get there 10 minutes later and they tell me its by appointment only...but the sign in front of the pharmacy also says walk ins welcome. And then they say, sorry. How about yall fix the problem instead of apologizing.
They wouldnt fill a simple amoxicillin prescription same day, said it wouldnt be ready until the next day. They recommended transferring it to another pharmacy if I wanted it sooner, but the other pharmacy waited on hold for over an hour and this pharmacy never answered to authorize the transfer.
Very unprofessional service, they kept me waiting for more than half hour in the farmacy and then I got a super rude whats going on when I was going to ask if it was going to take longer. Worst customer service ever.
Called at 10 pm on Sunday night for status of a much needed prescription and after being on hold for over 15 minutes I gave up. Way too long to NOT answer.
After a trip to Urgent Care in the middle of the night with my son, Cary, the pharmacist, honestly brought me to grateful tears with his care and compassion. He went above and beyond, made at least two phone calls to the provider to find a alternative medication, and was able to point me to an additional over the counter product which made ALL the difference for my sons pain. I am a relieved and thankful Mom. CVS has a God-send in Mr. Cary.
I would rate 0 stars if that was an option. I was just on hold for 20 minutes, hung up...because WHO has time for that! Waiting to get through to the pharmacy JUST to see if my daughters pediatrician sent her medication....That is insanity!I do NOT know ANY kind of business that can be successful with that degree of DISREGARD to their customers!**update**I hung up and called the FRONT ...spoke to Melissa...asked if this was NORMAL...she said yes...and transferred me internally...held another 5 minutes....still no answer.INSANITY!
Waiting for a few minutes but I am not going to complain... Prices are high...
I’m writing this review while waiting on the phone for 51min now for just to transfer a prescription... the lady on the phone answer at 35min and told me she was going to contact the other pharmacy and here I am 20min later still waiting for her to get back to me :( ....
Only gave a one star because you had to put one to write a review. Terrible customer service!! Son was scheduled for a return visit after receiving a TB vaccination. NOBODY in the clinic to see him at 9am (his appt time). He returned 2 hours later and still nobody at this location. Called customer service to find out why nobody was at this site and was told they had no idea, maybe hours were cancelled for some reason. Could not suggest what to do since this type of appt can not just be reschedule, but has to be evaluated 72 hours after original appointment. I insisted that somebody at their center had to have information and was hung up on. RUDE and very unprofessional on the phone. If your clinic has to cancel appts and close for any reason, they should check in with their administrator and patients should be notified. Will take business elsewhere and tell everyone I know how bad this CVS treats customers!!
This has to be the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. The wait times are ridiculous the pharmacist is condescending and the techs act as though they just graduated from school. It makes no sense to sit for over 30 minutes in a line.
John always gave me the best customer service and takes care of my health. Thanks!!!!
My wife visited the minute clinic for a sinus infection. She was told to go to the ER because the nurse practitioner said she had fluid in her lungs. She also said she had pneumonia and possibly COVID.Her lungs were clear. No pneumonia or COVID. SHE NEEDS TO GO.
Amazing service, I came in with a burn on my hand and the pharmacist omaima m went out her to help me. As soon as she saw my burn she was very attentive to me and recommended cream. Great service from her !
What a great staff. Just got back and it only took 2 minutes to get my new script and walk back to the car. Wow. Thanks for making the CVS experience easy and with a smile.
The only 24 hour pharmacy near me!
This is the absolute WORST pharmacy location I have ever used. Consistently the past several months they haven’t been able to fill my prescriptions, claiming there are issues with the manufacturer. I have never found that to be the case any where else. To make matters worse, they never call to tell me they can’t fill it. They just wait for me to call and check, after it’s usually supposed to be ready. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY.
They never can get anything right. My same prescriptions each month they have them at some other price it can change from a dollar to $100 it’s crazy and you can’t get through to them whether it’s phone or computer and it’s just really frustrating
Scheduled covid testing and waited for over an hour in line with the same 3 cars in front of me the entire time. I had to leave to go back to work without getting tested. This is so unorganized and disappointing for someone who works in medicine and needs this test done. Tried calling and no one cares to answer.
Called to see if refill was ready. On hold for 8 minutes. Called back, on hold for another 6 minutes. Finally answered by someone who was definitely flustered. I said I was calling to check on a prescription, she said, Well we have 10 people waiting in line. Was on hold another 5 minutes. A different person came on the phone to let me know my prescription wasnt ready but she was nice and said, thank you for waiting. Seriously wonder why they dont hire more help for their busy pharmacy staff. Who can give good customer service when they constantly need more help?
This is a very high-traffic pharmacy. Unfortunately after years of coming here, it is evident this pharmacy is unequipped for a high volume of customers and do not support their staff. They seem to always be unable to answer calls, working on a skeleton crew, unhappy, and incredibly defensive about lengthy wait times that ensue as a result. You are much better off going to a pharmacy in Publix. Best of luck to those who work at this store.
Today I filled a prescription at the CVS on the corner of Red Bug Lake Rd. and Tuskawilla Rd. in Winter Springs, FL and I was absolutely delighted to see the diversity of employees at this store location. Thank you for hiring individuals that truly represent the makeup of America - black, white, brown, Muslim, women, men, young and old. I was beaming while my prescription was being filled at the thought of how everyone can feel safe and included in your store. Representation matters and it is clear this store understands that, so thank you from an appreciative shopper. P.S: The customer service was great too!
I was at this CVS on Thursday before heading out of town. And Stephanie went out of her way to assist me and getting my prescription filled quickly so that I could get on the road. The staff at this location is always bent over backwards to try to assist me and getting my insurance filed correctly.
Great pharmacy and staff
Not a very put together crew they have working here waited in line forever and still had to step out of line for them to get things together
Avoid this Pharmacy at all costs. This is the absolute worst pharmacy Ive been to. Ive lived all over Florida, and this is legitimately the worst pharmacy Ive been to. The lines are NEVER decent. I never thought that I could say that about a pharmacy - you know, there are usually good times to go, especially for a 24hr pharmacy or something.. and this pharmacy, no - there is never less than a 20-minute line - inside OR outside. Even the outside drop-off lines are legit lines, and 3-4 cars long at all times. Ive been in the drop-off line, waiting for 5+ minutes just to turn in a piece of paper - not even needing to speak to anybody. Ive seen it, too, where they take those 5+ minutes just to return the drop - it wasnt returned by the time the next customer pulled up, and theyve had to wait just to get it returned, to turn in their RX form. Thats ridiculous. Its a drive-thru, and a drop-off lane (of which, there are two, for some reason, and both always have lines), and it still takes that long. The pick-up lane always has a line wrapped around the back of the building. Some of the employees in the pharmacy are also rude, ignorant, and/or oblivious and disorganized. Some are really nice and friendly - but theyre just not efficient at their job. The others are just horrible. They never know where the items are, they never have the answers, and have to ask somebody else, and they never remember what theyve told you. I just.. there is no real redemption. Its unfortunate. I could deal with long drive-thru lines, if the inside was fine. I could deal with rude employees, if the lines were better. I could give/take, like anything else. But this place is just atrocious.
This is by means the worse CVS pharmacy opened I know you all are 24hours but please hire staff that has the educational background to answer all your questions and hire people that has more common sense to do their job worse I’ll never ever come again here y’all should just close down!!! And that includes the pharmacist. Always on his headset and never doing anything about it
Ive been waiting almost a week for my sons medicine they didnt let me know that it wasnt in stock they had me waiting and I called and they said they still didnt receive it yet I dont recommend this pharmacy
Our doctor called in a prescription for our child on a Friday afternoon. Pharmacy told us it would be in the next day, Saturday. Called Saturday to see if it was in and we were informed that whoever we spoke to was wrong and they dont get deliveries on the weekend. The following Monday afternoon would be the soonest it would be in. Were visiting and leaving Monday, so we cant take care of it until we get home because now the doctors office is closed. Had CVS told us this on Friday, we could have had the doctor call it into another pharmacy for us. No apology from the pharmacy. Poor service, go somewhere else.
Thank you CVS for the great staff you put there. They always want to help. when the dr would say they send the proscription and they don’t CVS calls them and sends them fax’s till they do. They always try to give me the best prices and make sure the insurance would pay for it.Thanks to John and Omaima for all your help.
04/29/18 store # 3490Location: Winter Springs, Fla.Just a note to CVS Corp. Ive been in many CVS stores around USA, and never been treated the way the night manager of this one behaved towards my mother and myself. Intelligent enough to not show his name, his lack of respect and professionalism is unbecoming and misrepresent of what your corporation stands for .On the other hand the clerk on duty was very decent, apologetic, and showed much better manners. Her name was Melissa .Bea Wellings
Only Giving this pharmacy 1 star because there’s no option for zero stars, this pharmacy is filled with incompetent pharmacist! They are very rude and unprofessional and treat people very unfairly. I went to pick up a prescription for my sick child when the pharmacist told me it would be a 15 min wait and then after I waited 20 minutes told me it was a 2 hour wait. Very unprofessional and needs to be addressed by higher management. never will I ever return there!!!
I went here to pick of my 3 year old sons prescription after he had surgery. It’s the worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. I usually go to the CVS at the Oviedo target and the people there are amazing but they didn’t have the prescription I needed. I stood in line for 25 minutes only to be greeted by someone who was rude, didn’t smile, and obviously didn’t like her job. I asked to have it flavored because it’s extremely hard to get my son to take meds (because he’s 3). The pharmacist asked another worker to do it and she rolled her eyes and looked obviously annoyed. There was also someone else there complaining about the service. My husband had to go the next day to pick up another med and he said he had to wait a long time and asked them to flavor it as well. The lady let out a big annoyed sigh and said “Well you will have to wait”. He said everyone was rude and unhappy. Avoid this pharmacy! You will get horrible service!
This CVS is like them all except the store is clean and the staff was really friendly which made the experience much better.
THE WORST!!! THEY ARE TOOOOO SLOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!I went there twice.. every time they were TOOO SLOOOOW and RUDE!!!
The last two times I went there they lost my prescription and I had to wait for it to get refilled. Easily the worst CVS I have ever been to.
No better than a doctors office except they give you 1 min of their time opposed to 10 min that you get from a doctor. Disappointed
Been to the minute clinic Twice first time to get checked out found out what was wrong with me second time to get a quick physical so I can go back to work only took an hour the nurse was quite nice and quite efficient
Slow pharmacy but pleasant employees
Terrible service. They are slow and rude.
Slowest service, if you are in a hurry, dont stop here, you will end up being late.
They try but they’re always understaffed in the pharmacy. Hire some help!
Miserable customer service. Will avoid this location from now on.
Costumer service needs improvement, specially the pharmaceutical department.
The worst customer service.
RUDE
Terrible service, there is no respect for patients time plus 3 hours to claim a medicine for my children, lack of organization and better communication.
The service is very bad, the waiting times to claim the medications are more than 4 hours, a lack of respect.
