Bolsters is the real deal. Took my 2005 Honda CRV in as the brakes badly needed some work, and they did an amazing job. It turns out that one of the nuts on a back tire was nearly impossible to remove, so the car had to stay overnight and my understanding is it took 2-3 people to remove it. The mechanic was communicative the whole time and so diligent in getting it off! When I picked the car up, it rode smoother than it had in YEARS - even better than when I had the brakes replaced/repaired last time at a different shop. I was really pleased at the workmanship for the price too, very much a great value. Then the day after I picked the car up, the mechanic called back and offered to check the nuts on our spare tire just in case they were badly stuck as well, that way if we had to change the tire on the side of the road we wouldnt be in a pickle. Such a kind gesture and definitely above and beyond. Will be using them for all of my mechanic needs going forward and would highly recommend them.

Old fashioned honesty and excellent service. I have been lucky enough to know about them for years and wouldnt go anywhere else for repairs unless it was something like a transmission or engine rebuild because they dont do that. For the normal stuff like brakes or tune ups or exhaust etc......they are IT!

The two guys that run the place are so rude, it could be a comedy routine. This isn’t the first time these grouchy old man have been so nasty, and I should have known better than to go back again for an inspection sticker. On the day I went, they had posted a sign stating they were closing early at 2:00 PM. I came in around 1:30 PM and they both snapped at me saying there were cars already in line and to leave. They literally mocked and sneered at me.

Never go back there. Rude people, poor customer service and no respect to customers at all.

I went to Bolsters for an inspection and happen to be a 10 mins late than they are able to do them and was asked if I could read since there was a sign. I brushed it off as a joke but ended up going somewhere else. The reason for this review is that my wife went for an inspection on her car, and went there since it’s convenient but I was unaware she was going or I would have deterred her. When arriving she was given an attitude and was told there were 5 cars ahead of her without another car insight. I get that inspections are heavily state regulated and you don’t make money on them but you’ve lost any other business we have. Hope this helps the next person reading reviews too.

This place is old school, not great on customer interactions but work is done fast and correct.

I will never return here - and Ill make sure no one else ever does either. Ive stewed over this for months before writing this review. My significant other took my car here to get inspected. He dropped the car off and when he returned - the mechanic who inspected it had gotten in an accident.I kid you not - this guy was in an at fault accident with my vehicle. You read that right. Then after months of dealing with their sub par insurance, not all of the damage on my car was fixed.The owner and the mechanic at fault were not only unwilling to make the whole ordeal easier - they were rude and unapologetic. They were confrontational and beyond unprofessional. Now since the mechanic was considered at fault, the other drivers insurance that was involved is coming after MY insurance.So I PAID the mechanic for the inspection and an accident that will likely result in my premiums going up when neither I nor my significant other was even involved.Thanks for a job done horrible wrong. Next time Ill go elsewhere.
