After doing a search for a local bookstore to buy local for the holidays, I came across the Winthrop Book Depot & Cafe and Im so glad I did! Suzanne the shop owner quickly responded to my email, ordered a book I was looking for. I went to pick it up, and its a must see. Cute little book shop and cafe with great selections for both items. I will be going again!

The book depot is an amazing cafe and book store. I am always able to find new and interesting reads in their curated collection of books.

They always have what Im looking for. If they dont have a book you want, they can order it for you. There are a few small tables, cozy chairs, coffee, tea, muffins, etc. The perfect, quaint establishment for a small town like Winthrop!

Delightfully charming bookstore and coffee shop in the center of Winthrop, spotlessly clean and efficient, and serving some of the best coffee in town. Dont miss out on their spectacularly rich cold brew ice coffee. There are games for the tots, and a great selection of unusual gifts and books. The food menu is limited to pre-made croissants, bagels, muffins, and scones but everything looked quite fresh. Recommended.

Amazing coffee! Its aways good coffee with a couple different brews and bunch of flavors. Good selection of scones/muffins snack bars. Also great selection of new and classic books. Several tables for you to enjoy you new book and coffee.

Love love love these people and their coffee! Cute and cozy atmosphere nestled in Winthrop center. This family business aims to please with great customer service where they remember your name and how you like your order! They support local artists and crafters and always have an awesome selection of books and magazines in the store and can special order you any book you desire! I highly recommend and support this local small mom & daughter business!
