I went for my first time yesterday. I had to wait in a line to get ice cream but didnt care. The store was very clean, employees were all friendly. The choices of ice cream was 😉amazing. What surprised me was the choices they had in soft serve was not just vanilla and chocolate. It might be tough to choose. Might be difficult for small children excited to get ice cream or even a slush. In a case if small children, they offer delivery. YAHOO. My new place to go for sure.

Home made ice cream made in any way you like it. In a cup in a bowl. On a cone if you want it on a plate they will give you a plate. Even if your on a walk with your 🐕 theyll accommodate them and serve your buddy some. My favorite way is in a shake cup with two scoops added into the shake

Delicious Local Ice Cream! Cannot say enough nice things about this place. Fast-friendly servers, delicious Richardsons Ice Cream, LOCAL, reasonable pricing for a quality service/product. Would love to see them located in the Center of Town or at least on Veterans Road. More parking, maybe outside seating, more inside seating. Otherwise, they are amazing!

Was trying to call in a pick-up order for my 80 year old grandmother and was told she could come to wait in line herself. When told that the person wanting ice cream was elderly and asking if I could place a pick up order, I was rudely told that calling in a pick-up order would be “unfair to the people already in line” and that someone could go to wait in the line for her. I find this extremely dangerous and agist. We are still in a pandemic and grocery stores and other establishments still have special hours and curbside pickup to keep the elderly safe. I understand wanting to keep things fair, but I think Twist & Shake in Winthrop should consider being more accommodating and inclusive to the elderly. Elders do not want to have to rely on their families just to get ice cream from a local business, frankly some don’t have family to rely on. Also, I have been in this line since COVID-19 and while most employees are accommodating and chipper, it is packed and there are way too many people inside at one time. We will not be supporting this business anymore especially because a pint of Ben & Jerry’s is safer, more INCLUSIVE, and cheaper! There are plenty of senior citizens in this town, and I would hate to see them discriminated against simply in the name of “fairness.”

Huge portions of ice cream near the beach! They have a ton of flavors of soft serve and the staff is always friendly. Be prepared to get messy though, because they pile their ice cream cones so high that theyre bound to drip if youre not careful.

Great place to cool off with some of the best ice cream or frozen yogurt around. Be prepared for a short wait to order. A line is a good sign that something is great! I had pistachio and moose tracks in a cup. The two-scoop portion was huge! I big shout-out to the staff who work here. They were really friendly and kept a smile considering the amount of people they were serving.

One of the best places to get soft serve ice cream, with over 50 different flavors available. But they also have excellent hard ice cream, terrific floats and sundaes. Portions are quite large, so we often end up sharing one between us. On a nice day, get your order to go and stroll down to Winthrop beach and sit on the sea wall.

I love twist & shake; its my preferred place to get ice cream from! They have a whole bunch of options of ice cream. From shakes to sundaes, and even a variety of toppings so you can essentially get anything you like!

Winthrop has its own Ice Cream Shop and you owe yourself a trip! Banana Splits are around 9 bucks but if they are anything like the 2 scoop Sundae I bought you will probably need to share. I can say the Fudge Syrup is very authentically chocolate! Not the wax version of McDs They have a unique variety of flavors I had Blueberry Cheese cake DELISH!6.15 plus tip

Have ordered delivery multiple times in the past with out issues. Tonight I put an order in with a 30 - 45 minute window, but now it’s approaching an hour and a half. I tried calling for an update about this delay and they are not answering the phone. Really disappointed about this unprofessionalism.

Richardsons Ice cream is the best and thats what they serve with smile. They love dogs and give them some vanilla soft serve if you are ok with that

Great place! I brought my Granddaughter there for her first outside of house ice cream! She got to pick her flavor!

I visited with my 3nephews, an associate wasKeep asking us that what we want,while kids were selecting their ice cream .none was there instead of us . Was pretty uncomfortable and annoying. I had to push kids to make their selection fast, within two minutes we were outside.:-(

Twist and shake is one of the best Icecream places I’ve ever been to! They have a super friendly staff and their Icecream is so good!

So for some reason they didnt change their time schedule and this is something that really gets me going. They are NOT open past 10. They close at 10 exactly. Please do not go to twist and shake past 10:00 pm.

They have a selection of so many different ice creams and combinations of ice cream its dizzying! Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely!
