This store very clean and large. The employees seem nice, ( I only shopped @ this location once). The shelves are looking empty would be my only complaint but its through no fault of Stop & Shop. Ships still out @ sea waiting on delivery trucks to fill their shelves.

Friendly deli staff, helpful managers and produce and meat selections are vast and the quality is second to none.

I just DELETED my rotten, unfair & unjust review of this place. That I reviewed like 2 months ago. My stuff I said then was WAY off base. And perhaps I was very paranoid into thinking that certain workers were rude. When in Reality they WERENT. My apologies for that. I think, I just assumed wrongly and was in a weird state of mind. Because I had lost around $500 on Lottery scratch tickets. My OWN fault for that mishap. That was NOT any workers faults. So I truly, genuinely apologize for being paranoid that time. Into thinking that workers were mentioning me in a negative / stereotype tone. When they really WERENT. Im sorry for that. And actually every time Ive gone in there with my friend, workers have been very nice. And also helpful. So I do DEF recommend this store. The workers Ive or we dealt with are nice & friendly. And the managers are as well. I admit, I was just sour grapes that time, I lost a lot of 💰. So nobody is grumpy there. Like I had thought that time. That was just in my head, from my mind being twisted up then. From losing my money. This is indeed a good store. Perhaps Ill try a scratch ticket there again and not go to town on them. LoL. But more importantly they have a good selection of food & items at this location.

I think after this week Im gonna cut down tremendously, on the sweets kick!

Easy to find what I need

Cashier on register 15 at 4:25 pm on Tuesday afternoon should not be allowed t work with the public. She was not friendly and she just threw my energy bars in my bag breaking in half two of them. If this is his customers are tested her I’ll make the drive elsewhere.

I was in there about a week ago and it was just right before closing time and a lady in the front I have to say was very rude she thought I didnt pay for a bag that that I purchased a week before and left the tags on them

You typical box store grocery store that is mildly to moderately overpriced. They do have sales which are significant from time to time.The shelves are well stacked. The shelves are organized. They have their own house brand where the prices are lower than the commercial brands.Its a nice place to walk through because sometimes they have good ads for a few items. Its also good for my exercise. Am I thrilled or excited when I go there, absolutely not. I usually go elsewhere but when Im near this store I might just stop by

A pretty typical S&S. Has a Dunkin Im it and a citizens bank. Not always stocked well but if you are used to going to S&S everything is easy enough to find.

The Stop and shop was nice and wasnt busy the person who bagged my groceries was nice but, the cashier was kinda cold.

Most confusing grocery store Ive ever been to. Mouth wash and hand sanitizer were placed in the same aisle as flour and sugar, small aisles were next to produce with the random products. And also one of the entrances blocked for some reason.

Great member prices and a full inventory

Ridiculous single line which makes no sense and no one tends the line making the cashiers come out of their stalls to call the next person. Its nonsense. The bags were less than single ply and the bagger stuffed them full. Two out of three broke open in the car.

Horrible service and miserable employees. I don’t frequently shop here and I’m starting to remember why. I needed help finding something and I saw a woman stocking an aisle. The lady gave me attitude and visibly shook her head and rolled her eyes because I took two steps down the opposite direction of an aisle with no one in it but her to ask where something was because there was legit no other workers in sight. Talk about miserable! Then, at check out the bagger broke my 12 pack of sprite putting it in my cart and I heard her drop it in and make a noise but I didnt see it was completely broken up until I tried to unload it by the handle slit in the box and every can of sprite went all over the parking lot.

Why are there so little checkout lines with actual check out cashiers?? The lines are huge and I eventually just gave up waiting for a real person and went through the self checkout.. I dont like that stop and shop is taking so many jobs away from cashiers

How they place items in orderVery excited

I havent been in here in several years my first time back 4 days ago was strictly for salad bar. It was very slim pickings at 530pm. However I did make use of what I could.. I was smarter this time and called at 1015am yesterday to see when salad bar would be loaded..they said 1030am so I arrived at 1025am and as I started the rest was loaded.I made 4 loaded salads and was pleased at freshness. The 4 star was from first time back I will give 5 star for yesterday

I found shot Stop & Shop to be just awful this Saturday if any people behind that Deli counter had a lick of Common Sense they would be dangerous they were five people working on that counter two were cutting meat for the people that were coming to the counter and the rest were doing miscellaneous stuff but one woman monopolized one of the two Deli workers behind the counter because she had a whole sheet of stuff that she wanted a couple slices of this so thick so we all stood around there like a bunch of dopes after 10-15 minutes I just left because it was apparent. That we are going to be there for another 15 minutes the way this was going I just left not good

Dependable, Market Basket is better on pricing but they have some unique stuff.

Less crowded than most stores Ive been to in the last 2 weeks

Have been shopping here for the past 7 years. I have heard people complaining about comparatively higher prices at shop & stop, but I havent felt so. The store at Woburn is conveniently located close to exit 35 on I-95. They have a pharmacy, Citizens bank and Dunkin outlet in the store. Rarely had any issues with their produce. The store was recently renovated in 2019 to include more self checkout kiosks. They also have a cute robot that moves around the store checking for spills. They offer lot of discounts for people with Stop & Shop card which you get for free and the point accrued can be used for discounted gas at Shell and Stop & Shop gas stations.

Its convenient and has good selection, but more expensive than Market Basket.

No milk? One register open but many do it urself!

You can get some good deals with their loyalty program, but I dont find the app or the site particularly user-friendly. The shelf prices are not necessarily the sale/loyalty card prices and you can get a better price using the digital coupons in addition to the sales. They do you have nice produce..

Great grocery store

I like stop and shop. It’s spacious and clean enough room to move around without always bumping into something or someone. It’s pricey but market basket gives me anxiety so I’ll take the prices over the heart palpitations.

I got more sandwich bags 100 ct for storage. The store doesnt have a cafe there. I bought chicken tenders as a snack. The store was pretty good for businessowners.

Its a regular stop&shop..you will find everything here for your groceries needs... I found it was well kept and maintained than some other stores ..

I never thought I would have to write a review of a grocery store! This store is always out of something...things arent restocked. Ive never had to check orange juice expiry date and twice I took it home and saw that it had been expired 2 weeks ago. The employees are not friendly either, so I make sure to go through self check. Not impressed at all. The manager has been accommodating so thats been helpful, because of him Im giving 2 stars.

The store timings are great. available most of the time to get quick grocery shopping for home. In recent times the meat choices are increased and its good.

Customer service is what its all about. Everyone is very helpful throughout the store. Sales are good and produce is excellent. The manager is always visible and friendly. Its a great store.

It looks like they are upping the ante since Market Basket opened nearby. Produce Dept was redone, new salad bar, more prepared foods and some great specials.

Well, I am not a big fan of coupons game, but the place is ok for occasional grocery shopping. They even have a robot moving around with LIDAR and camera to watch customers. As with any store it is hard to find products without sugar. Two years ago I spotted sugar added to sour cream. I guess so it won’t be too sour? And that was by Hood. Shame on you Hood. But the place is fine.

I stopped there for a few things.

4-stars as I was surprised by the extra charge for curbside pick-up. Other stores do not charge extra for curbside pick-up

Very large store!

The store was empty in the morning which always make grocery shopping easier and they had plenty of the shopping carts for two kids for when a dad of twins gets over eager enough to take the kids shopping with him on his own. The cashier and bagger were so polite and thoughtful of me and my family. Will definitely come back as much as possible

Great selection and nice array of vegetarian offerings. However the organic strawberries are *always* all covered in foam mold, along with other organic produce looking old or expiring. Also some horrid smell was coming from dried up spills all along the bottom edge of the soda aisle. Smelled like body odor mixed with urine- no clue what it was but I could smell it on both sides of the aisle.

This Stop& Shop is large with a dedicated deli and bakery. They also have a Dunkin Donuts inside the store. You can scan your purchases as you shop or you can use their self service lanes. For those who prefer a more traditional shopping experience, there are usually 2-3 cashiers. The produce varies. I tend to shop the loss leaders in this store. They have a larger variety than Market Basket but you tend to pay more on each item unless it is on sale.

Good grocery shop in the neighbourhood. Service is reasonably good.

Although I understand that Stop & Shop is a local business chain, Stop & Shop has gotten rid of many jobs including cashiers Baggers and apparently anyone working in any aisles. The food is extremely overpriced I would highly recommend Market Basket if you are going to spend $200 or more. At Stop & Shop $200 I will buy you 3 Days To 4 days meals. At Market Basket $200 I will buy you at least a months food.

The store is nice and quiet, though the surroundings are quite littered and the entrance neglected and smelly. Most fresh items expire tomorrow, and if discounted they expire today. Cashiers lack proper training, seldom a hello or thank you, just blunt instructions to use the pad thingy. An overall bad experience, and its sad because you have a lot of potential and resources.Manager, clean up the entrances, train your people! Sit them down once in a while and explain personable customer service. I assume you are a little smarter than they are.You guys missed a golden opportunity to attract and retain customers when Market Basket went on strike or whatever. Simply handing out Stop and Shop cards was not enough. Get a smart person to analyze what is going on with you guys, else stay mediocre forever!
