A decent beer selection, but their recycling machine is not always up to date. Good luck redeeming cans and bottles of seasonal brews and spirits.

Called the store to find out the time they were closing for the evening. They were open for another half hour so that worked out perfectly. I came in at 1030pm on a Wednesday evening. The two gentlemen behind the counter acknowledged our entrance with their eyes but said nothing. No big deal. Maybe theyre quiet people. Grabbed a twelve pack and came to the counter. They asked us both for our IDS. Not a problem. I show them my ID as Im now a California resident. I had to move from Boston to California for work but was back visiting family and working remotely. He immediately became hostile and stated that they cannot accept out of state IDS and the manager isnt there to verify. Had I known this, I wouldnt have made the trip. Reading the reviews here, this seems to be a trend.The funny thing is, they both looked old as hell and theyre not the owners or managers. Made me feel a little bit better about myself as Im 38 and probably vastly further ahead in life than either of them. Oh yes, Im 38 and they still refused. My friend had his US passport with him and they still refused. I think this business is up for an investigation with the BBB. Id highly recommend you not utilize this business. As a long-time Massachusetts resident, these guys are the purest of townies. Stay in the city and dont bother with Woburn. Its not worth your time nor money. I hope this review helps others. Plenty of other great places in the area for spirits. Thank you!

It is a small store, relatively speaking, but packed. They have a great selection of beers all in cold cases. Excellent!

Good selection, younger employees are nice, but the older dude (assuming is the owner) was extremely rude/hostile about checking IDs (as he is every time we go there) and is extremely condescending as if he assumes everyone is trying to pull a fast one on him. At 27 years old its a bit ridiculous. Card me, but dont be a jerk about it. Will avoid in the future.

I have been going here on and off for over 3 years. There is one older guy who works there who is clearly racist. I went here on Sunday st 2:30pm and this one older guy again gives me attitude for no reason. I am of Pakistani descent and clearly he has some issues. I asked for a pint of liquor and he gives me a huge patronizing response because he was habing a sandwich behind the counter. I called him a dick and left. There is definitely some racial issues with this guy. Been going there for 3 years and he is the only one who gives me attitude for no reason. I wonder what his problem is?

I was in the beer isle when I overhead the cashier with a customer. The cashier claimed he had an Indian employee who stole from him and went on to say ...you know how i is with Indians... and ... youre white, you understand what Im talking about. The customer was quite embarrassed and left in a hurry.I confronted the cashier as I was checking out and he tried the ole back-peddle.Quite pathetic if you ask me. Ill avoid this place if I can.

Had what I was looking for (sailor jerry) decent prices

Guy behind the counter was rude to me and everyone else who came in the store. I have an out of state ID, and he immediately became rather hostile. My ID is two years old and doesnt have the newer security features. The owner accused me of having a fake ID and very, very rudely told me to get out. If he couldnt read the ID, so be it. But the repetitive disrespect was uncalled for. Dont waste your time, go elsewhere.
