Ive had a few phone call experiences with this place, and I personally would not recommend this place to anyone, I recently spoke to this lady Grace, and by the tone of her voice you can easily find out that there is no grace at all, always making the conversation really tough by being ignorant. I usually dont write reviews but it was necessary. Most people are horrible with communication and very rude. I can see this business not going too far with customer service like this.
DO NOT BUY YOUR CPAP SUPPLIES FROM THEM. My insurance was charged about 600 dollars (200 out of pocket) for new supplies for my airsense 10 machine. Which was lost in the mail and they were not helpful at all. After I realized you can literally buy cpap supplies on Amazon for about 80 dollars for mask, filter, strap, water tank, etc. This place overcharges you for everything and is very aggressive if you do not pay.
This company is at minimum temporarily closed. If you call during business hours no one picks up.
Received bill for inhaler equipment that I could have bought for half of the price at CVS. I had no idea that I had purchased this equipment through my doctors office. Customer service was poor. Bill looks like junk mail - I almost through it out. Do not recommend this company.
Absolute joke. You wonder why health insurance is so high in America, companies like this. Lets charge $270 for a $39.99 nebulizer & then you still get burned for the balance when your insurance covers less than half. How a company is legally able to gouge the general public so bad is beyond me. Straight up racketeering.

They charged my insurance $270 for a $60 piece of equipment which also can be found on sale for $35. Asked them to match the price, or even double it, still would be way less, but they were not compassionate at all. They take advantage of people, and I wish for them get a taste of their own pill one day. Disgusted with their dishonest ways. AVOID THIS COMPANY
I thought my insurance company purchased a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea, from American Home Care Specialists, but I was mistaken when I received an invoice in the mail for $650, after one year of having the machine and absolutely no correspondence whatsoever from this company. Nothing was on the invoice mind you, just an invoice for $650. After speaking with Denise in their billing department, she informed me I didnt meet the insurance companys requirements and either had to pay for the machine or return it. I scheduled a pick-up, and the person picking up the machine (Keith) not only was rude, but snapped at me and wanted me to sign papers, but was reluctant to sign something saying he was picking up the machine. I also plugged the machine in, and made sure he knew it worked. It was in perfect condition. I then spoke to Denise in billing, numerous times asking her to send me a quick email to say the account has been settled and closed, and each and every time I spoke to Denise, she said she would send me the email to confirm the account has been settled and closed. The very last time I got through to Denise, (because all her calls are screened), I again asked her for the email, and she told me to hold on. Several minutes later a receptionist came on the line and said, Denise stepped out and she told me to tell you, you are all set. This company lacks the professionalism and courtesy of a top rated company, or even a low rated company. I dont understand how they are still in business, with such horrible service. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone, and I will not go back to this company for anything. Common courtesy and customer service should be a given, especially with a company that claims to have such huge revenue. They should be ashamed of themselves, especially dealing with individuals who needs and concerns are focused on health issues.NOTE: This may show one star, and that is ONLY because the post will not take without selecting a star. Otherwise, this company should receive a negative star!
Avoid this company. We rented equipment from this company through hospital. This company did not provide any paperwork as backup to insurance company after many reminders, but wants customer to pay them rental fee on time. They kept charging service fee and wants to send customer to collections. Worst customer service ever. Dont understand why hospitals still use such poorly rated companies
I had a very positive experience with American Healthcare Specialists. After dealing with Apria and going through hell, this company was such a great improvement, from the technician who fitted me for my bipap machine to the quick billing and resolving my balance when my health insurance ran out (Apria in comparison was a contract nightmare for durable billable equipment). I can see there are negative reviews, my guess is its a small company and people can have issues with customer service and their orders. But for me it was so much easier dealing with them than Apria, and they were very pleasant and knowledgeable.
Had CO2 for my CPAP. I just had weightloss surgery and they dropped the machine off and wouldnt carry it up to the room I was in....Made my 70 year old do it as I couldnt walk without help let alone lift this thing. My dad with a bad heart had to move it. On top of that Ive been off oxygen for over a year and theyre still billing my insurance companyAVOID AT ALL COSTS
This company is BY FAR the RUDEST, and least customer service oriented company I have ever dealt with. Charges above the allowed rate set by insurance compnany., doesnt deliver what is ordered by provider or promised by them, and EXTRMELY rude on the phone--wont provide name of person answeringI am a physician and would NEVER recommend this company to any of my patients
Kept being billed after recieving a letter saying i was covered..the office just keeps changing my dates around and are almost a year behind on when they thought i got the machine...seeing a pattern here with others keep you records luckily I found mine
