Very polite and professional. They were able to alert me to several loose stones on a necklace I had brought in for an appraisal. I would have never noticed the loose stones until it was too late. My appraisal came back very accurate, and their knowledgeable gemologist was able to inform me of stone characteristics with my necklace I was unaware of. I am blown away at how expensive they are. I had some repairs on a ring and a bracelet and they wanted over $150 to fix my ring that I paid $150 for. I took it to another jewelry store and they only wanted $10 to fix my ring. The bracelet I paid $600 for and that is what they told me it would take to fix it, again the other jewelry store only charged me $50. Guess they lost my business! They need to lower their prices!

My husband and I took in the jewelry from my mother-in-law’s estate to determine its value. Lots of costume jewelry but several pieces of value as well. Scott examined every piece and gave us pricing indications for anything not costume. Now we know how to divide the jewelry equitably among the family members. Could not be happier! I’m returning to have Georgetown Jewelers redesign a beautiful lavender jade necklace that needs a bit of updating. Bottom line, they’re a well run, knowledgeable, customer focused store.
