I got my car inspected there. Went straight home. When I left for work next morning, car was making a weird noise. A piece was broken off my bumper and its moving. It was messed up on the lift.

I am new to the area. I came to Featherstone for a complicated headlight repair. The front desk managers were so nice and courteous. They were honest and clearly explained what the problem was. The car was fixed quickly and for much cheaper than any other quote I could find. This was the best most reassuring auto repair experience I have had.

They did a very good job on my ram 1500. I will go back to them.

I recently went in for an oil change and inspection. The service was excellent. My car was taken back right away. They were very quick with their service and were professional throughout the process. Sonia was especially helpful and knowledgable as she let me know exactly what I needed for my car and offered to complete the service right on the spot. I was thoroughly impressed by the whole process and will only be taking mine and my fiancees car to Featherstone from here on out!

For basic safety inspection it is a fine place to go. The line is often long but I think that is true anywhere. The one time I talked to them about further work their quote was expensive. I was able to get it done for half the price elsewhere.

One of the best auto shops around! I love the Station Managers work ethic an enthusiasm. Every time I go here, I have a smooth and efficient visit. The mechanics really know what they are doing, and take the time to explain what your car needs and what your options are. They are cheaper compared to most of the auto shops around and work with honesty. The owners are hard workers and are very friendly, coming to get my car fixed or getting a oil change is never a worry because I know I am in good hand. They also always have great specials and deals!! Take advantage of those! Highly recommend this place.

Its a rip off!! Dont be surprised if they tell you many things are wrong including your windshield wipers just to charge you extra $25!! Not recommended. Do yourself a favor and drive a little further to find another autoshop.

I am so angry right now. I bought my car in for an inspection and they tell me my left fog light is broken. He takes me in to show me. How is this possible when I’m 30 minutes ago it was not broken? I mean I literally saw that both my fog lights were working. What! So of course I fail inspection. I am so angry because I know my light was working.

Great place, the people here actually care for you and your car. Unlike other stores within the vicinity, they will tell you the truth regarding the issue(s) of your vehicle and are able to solve the problem ASAP! Come here if you actually value your car, money and great customer service!

Con-artists for sure, especially their inspector. Took my car there to have the inspection done and they found that the car had a total of four small marker lights that were not working. Simple fix where you just replace the bulb and they quote me $100 total for the job, $25 per light! It is especially easy to replace these bulbs in my car because the covers have screws on them to remove the case and they are all on the outside of the car. I could understand the price if it were a special job that required a lot of labor. I told them to go ahead and reject the car, bought the bulbs my self from Walmart for $6 total for 4 bulbs and replaced them myself, all in under 10 min. Went to another inspection place and paid them the $20 inspection fee again vs coming back to these con-artists and paying them $1 for re-inspection. Avoid this place at all costs as there are way better and more honest mechanics in the area.

Terrible service!Im new to Virginia so I needed an inspection then later I needed my new tags put on. When they were inspecting my breaks, one of the mechanics couldnt put the tire back on. I had to help him hold it steady while he used a hammer to center it. I made the mistake of going back to get my tags put on and they screwed them on crooked and off center. They seemed to just want me out of there.There was another customer talking to the attendant while I was waiting in the lobby. He wanted something (I dont remember) and an oil change but decided to just get an oil change. The woman at the counter told him to just go somewhere else because it wasnt worth it due to the low profit that they get from oil changes. His car was already up on the lift! They lowered it and made him drive away.Im never going there again.

So I took my car to Featherstone Auto for the first time...biggest mistake. I went to get an oil change, emissions and inspections done on a car I just registered the night before. Nothing wrong with the vehicle. Literally 5 minutes after I left the car broke down on me. I had to get the car towed. I called them and they said oh we will give you a discount on your next service. My car was signaling me one tire pressure was low. I told them when I got there. It was still showing low pressure after I left and I mentioned it when I called but they swore they put air in the tire. Im waiting to hear from the mechanic my car got towed to. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Dropped my car off to have 4 new tires (I supplied my own new tires) installed. I was called and told the tires were done but now I need 2 new wheel studs and lug nuts. After arriving and inspecting the wheel studs and lug nuts, it was VERY OBVIOUS that the tech did the damage. When I confronted the manager and tech, the tech claims he did not cause the damage and the manager is lying to cover for him. Also, when you pay to have new tires installed, the valve stems (the rubber stems you add air to your tires) are supposed to be REPLACED! They were not... Seriously? I paid for a service and the vehicle was returned damaged.

Great place to get just about any servicing done for your car at an affordable price. I got my Virginia state inspection done here and also other regular maintenance work for my car. Staff is honest and isnt trying to hustle you like other places and most importantly my car is running great

First time I visited, I was please and thought that was my go to car repair I was promised that if anything happened with the work done I could come back and they would take care of it for me, well i had the light bulbs replaced and after about 2 month one of them was not working again. I brought my car back to be checked and to replace it again. It was not the same person I had seen before, she didnt find the records big the job done before and told me that she was not the manager and that she would have to charge me again. There was no manager in sight and. I told her that my deal was not with the manager, it was with the company, and she was the person there representing itz so I expected that . But there was no help from her. I even said that I would never go back there again and that I would not recommend the ship to my clients either.Finding a good car repair to me is like finding a doctor. I have to trust.

I always go here for my vehicle inspections. The staff is friendly and courteous. I had to wait longer than I usually do, but that was my fault for not getting the inspection in a timely manner.

Please dont take your Mercedes over there, they just broke down my car and they act like the issue was already existing while my car was driving fine before that. No I can barely turn the wheel and the engine make a horrible noise and they keep denying. They are not competent

Very bad experience, I took my car in to get my catalytic converter replaced. They left the bolts loose, as a result I was getting exhaust fumes inside the car which was giving me a lot of headache. I brought it in for a repair a second time, and i was still getting exhaust fumes in my car so they did not get right the second time. I brought it in a third time and they were trying to get me to pay full price to do it a third time, for something that they should have done right the first time. I dont recommend bringing your car there. They will not do a good job and they will try to make you pay again for something they messed up on.

Jara the manager I believe whom Ive do business with twice, was very rude to me & began acting irrationally. She accused me of using my faith as a crutch. She then proceeded to accuse me of being a Jevohahs Witness (which theres nothing wrong with Im just not one) I told her I wasnt, she accused me of yelling at the little boy that accompanied me. I found it odd being that shed never met him and did not know our (his & my) rapport. When he and I, explained to her it was in fun she didnt believe us and thus got within an inch of my face. After she went back in the office the people out front began shaking their heads and laughing; looking at them I said shes crazy??? She came back out of the office and said, No Im not crazy!!! I looked at your mouth and saw what you said. Now your barred from the property. I want you off my property!!! I just received an email reminder to go back. No thanks. Just need an oil change not a modern day take on Shakespeare: Taming of the Shrew. If I be waspish best beware of my sting!

By far the worst customer service all time. I was given the run around with these guys for almost 2 months just to take my car somewhere else. A complete waste of time and money. They never call you back when they say they will and the work they promise to do is an absolute lie. I reached out to the BBB in regards to them thats how bad my service was. I advise any other mechanics in the area because these guys will make your situation worse.

If I could give the Featherstone Auto Service Center 1/2 or 0 star, I would do so. I went to them for my Virginia State Inspection and they told me my headlights needed to be replaced before I could pass inspection. Thus, I asked them to replace the headlights. They charged me the price for a brand new pair of headlights but they installed used and scratched up headlights. They repeatedly promised to replace them but never did, giving the excuse that the supplier kept giving them defective headlights. When I contacted the supplier they named, the supplier said that Featherstone Auto Service never bought any headlights from them. I tried to follow up with Featherstone Auto Service Center, but could no longer do so because they blocked my calls. I trusted these people who turned out to be dishonest. I learned a hard lesson dealing with them, and I hope no one else has to.

When I was there I heard they were talking about how some of the employee is selling the inspection certificate outside without shop to know about it and they also work for the used car dealership next to them and pass that dealership car fraud way like if abs system of the car is not working cut the wire off what tells the computer that there is a problem with it when they hook it up with engine and I found it hard way after I came out from there service my car start having problem come to find out they stole my engine cover and plug very bad place dont take your car there this people are thieves
