The staff is amazing and super friendly! The dentist is very easy to talk to and really knows what she is doing! Legacy dental is the best dental office I have been to since I was a teenager! Even if you dont live in Woodbridge it is well worth driving too!

I personally have had many dental issues and they have all been so helpful and vigilant with treatment, referrals, etc. My family and I feel like family when we come for our appointments. Miracle Workers!  That is exactly how I would describe our experience with everyone at Legacy Dental Care.  My son had a nasty accident at school practice, where his bottom lip was cut open; his one front tooth broke off and fell out; and the front tooth was chipped and became loose.  It was a Saturday afternoon and we did not have a family dentist!  We had not been patient of Legacy Dental Care but Dr. Punaji came to the rescue, just from an emergency call from her son, who was friend/classmate.  Dr. Punaji rushed to her clinic and she and her team went to work to save the teeth.  She was able to put the one tooth back in place, fix the chipped tooth, and stabilized both teeth.  Throughout the process, she explained everything she was doing, in detail.  She was gentle and was helpful to my son and treated him with care.  It has been such a pleasure working with her and her caring team.  Because it turned out to be a medical emergency, Dr. Punaji even helped us with the paperwork we needed to file with our medical insurance company.A month after the accident, except for a small scar underneath his lip, there is no other physical evidence of the incident.  Dr. Punaji and the team at Legacy Dental Care were able to give my son back his beautiful smile.  I am so grateful for their quick actions that day. They make everything seems so easy and their warmth in addressing my concerns took away all my anxiety.  We now have a family dentist, for sure!

The VA Administration sent me to do some procedures, WOW the professional care they have for their patients; the staff is so warn and friendly from the front desk, hygienist, and dental assistant. When your procedure is done, they follow up the next day, how your doing. Dr. Punaji what a Doctor, she take care that your comfort and relax you before any procedure and answer all your questions. If I could rate them an infinity of stars I would! I’ve had bad experiences at the dentist so many times that I stopped going. I haven’t gone for approx 6 years. I was completely terrified and had so much anxiety and fear! The reason. I called in the first place was because I had a toothache. I called in the morning and had the pleasure of speaking with Pattie. I let Pattie know my issue and also told her I was terrified of the dentist, but needed an appt to have my tooth looked at. I also told her I hadn’t been to the dentist in years. She clearly was very attentive even over the phone as she heard the fear and aniexty in my voice. I asked if it was possible to be seen today and she said they were pretty booked but she’d call me back. Within 5 minutes I received a call back letting me know Dr. Punaji would see me between her patients at 2:40. Mind you this was on a day they closed at 4 and they already had a fully booked schedule. Pattie even offered to come out and meet me in the parking lot to walk in with me! Just shows you that the team at Legacy truly cares about their patients and the experience they have!Again, I was so deathly afraid, it really was ridiculous and embarrassing! I walked in and was greeted by Pattie & Jenny who immediately made me feel comfortable! They couldn’t have been anymore endearing, thoughtful and understanding of my feelings and fear! I was taken back by Jenny. She continued to comfort me as I started to cry. I was quite embarrassed that here I am, a 48 year old woman, was so fearful of the dentist, I mean come on! I apologized, and Jenny only comforted me even more! Dr. Punaji came in and I starred to get upset again, but not to worry, she too was comforting & understanding! She let me know it was ok and that I wasn’t the only one who had the fear of dentists (making me laugh!) She explained everything to me and was extremely gentle during the entire process. Didn’t hurt me at all!Melanie, one of the hygienists, did my if cleaning. Let me tell you my experience just got better and better! Melanie was just as gentle, comforting and understanding as everyone else! I’ve never had such a pleasant dental experience in all my years! I didn’t get the opportunity to meet the other hygienist but I’m sure she is as amazing as the rest of the team at Legacy Dental Care!EVERYONE OF THEM WERE BEYOND AMAZING!! Ive been a patient of this office for years. I was a patient of this office when Dr. Schell was the dentist! I love it here. My daughter got all her care here and STILL does! Its literally been about 18 years going here and each experience has been amazing. Patti (the OG fashionista receptionist) and Jenny (puts the sweet in sweetheart) are the most caring, efficient and accurate ladies Ive ever seen work a desk. Dr. Punaji is the only dentist Ive ever seen that doesnt need to numb me a million times. Twice and we are ready to go. I have had a ton of great work done at this office. I highly recommend their services and the experience overall.

Ive gone to this dental office all my life and I have no plans of going to a different one, ever. The employees here are polite, kind, helpful, and make things easy as possible for their patients. Moreover, its very obvious that they love what they do: helping people. Also, the doctor has the most amusing stories she likes to tell while working on your teeth, and they are worth listening to. Needles freak me out. Dr P talked me off the ceiling and through the numbing by talking to me and reminding me to breath. I wont say it didnt sting for a second but she did keep my mind off of it and it wasnt bad.Dr P is conservative and has been watching this tooth for a couple of years before she recommended we crown it. I highly recommend this dental office and Im picky about doctors! Youll be happy.

A broken molar led me to Legacy Dental after a 15 year hiatus between dental appointments. They were able to see me on the same day I called, after being told by several other dentists that the wait was up to 4 weeks. The staff could see immediately that I was very uncomfortable and could not have been more accommodating or kind. Dr. Punaji is an excellent dentist with a great chairside manner and takes the time to explain the processes. She also has an amazingly light touch! Have another procedure next week, but not stressed about it in the slightest. The courteous, skilled, and efficient staff make for an amazingly comfortable dental experience. If youre looking for a new dentist you should definitely give them a chance to earn your business. Glad I found them.

I really like Dr. Punaji and her entire staff. I started going on the recommendation of my mom. The office is smaller, and so you get to know the hygienists and receptionists who work at Legacy Dental Care as well. My waits are always pretty short, and the appointments are efficient. Dr. Punaji has actually repaired some fillings I had done as a kid, and I can feel the difference between my new fillings, which are much more comfortable, and my old ones. She lets you listen to music through your appointments, which mitigates uncomfortable procedures like fillings. The front desk staff is always helpful working through insurance questions and scheduling appointments. I highly recommend her office.

The best dental office experience I ever had over the previous dental offices Ive been in my life. The office has a welcoming comfort atmosphere, the staff are cheerful, showing kindness and caring.The dentist, Dr. Sowmya Punji is a deitcated proffesional doctor. A passionate doctor that knows how to care for a patient (the dentalroom is bright and very clean, the chair is comfortable)and knows the professional field on all levels, (even though I know my gums doesnt like the feeling of the pointy metal utensils poking at it, however, the doc knows and did her best to not make me feel that uncomfortable pinch pain.) both in years of hands on experience and in advance college education. Above all she has a great personality. (I can not wait for 6 months to come back. :) )
