I tried for an hour and half to plunge my toilet that wouldnt flush- but it was no use. I called King Arthur Plumbing for the clogged toilet. It was around 8:30pm at night and it happened to my daughters 4th birthday. I called other 24 hour companies, but no one answered.Luckily, when I called King Arthur I spoke to Al right away and he dispatched someone to my 1br/1 toilet apt. in Edison. He said someone should be there within 15-25 minutes and the tech came faster than I expected.The tech Tim was polite, professional, safe and wore a mask (as we did) and got right to work- the problem was fixed in about 5 minutes!!!My daughter was very excited to be able to continue to celebrate her PJ Masks birthday.King Arthur Plumbing has extremely reasonable pricing. We requested a replacement natural gas water heater.The service person, Anthony was prompt, thorough, efficient, and explained the options understandably. We ended up having some added work for code purposes, and those options were set forth without any pushing. We felt like any decisions were up to us. The equipment and the work is very high quality. We had a problematic sink that wasnt draining, so we called this company and within an hour a technician was here (Metuchen). And within 5 minutes the problem was figured out, and even though their service wasnt able to fix it, they instructed us what to ask for and recommended a local company that was able to do it. Best Best plumbing service ever! I am still amazed how quickly and efficiently my problem was fixed. Had a leak from my upstairs bathroom down through the kitchen ceiling. King Arthur repaired the leak -needed to replace some parts. Their service was so so professional. They worked so neatly and quietly. Before I knew it the job was done. I couldnt believe it. Best company ever!! My central air unit failed to work on a Thursday right before heat wave. They came and diagnosed the issue the same day. Unfortunately I needed to replace my old unit. This company walked me through all the steps to be able to aquire a new unit. By Saturday noon my new unit was in and running! My needs were resolved within 3 days. No other company could offer to even diagnose till a week later. I cant thank King Arthur enough for your amazing service. They even wore shoe covers which I thought was great too! So professional, reliable and dependable.
I recently had my sewer line replaced by King Arthur Plumbing. The crew are great and they know their stuff. I actually liked having them around. The job took about 1 day in total they dug up the front and put in the new sewer, without any inturuption. If I ever need another sewer line replaced I will definitely call them again.
So...3,4 weeks ago we bought a garbage disposal and planned to install it ourselves. I got under the sink and decided that we needed professional help because --- Im not sure exactly why! Something to do with needing to cut a cast iron pipe. Anyway we called King Arthur Plumbing. We had travel plans so made an appointment for 2 weeks later, on a Monday morning. First thing that morning I called to be sure the appointment was still on, and a super friendly woman (she deserves for me to remember her name but I cant quite...Laura?) answered and assured me theyd be at my house within the hour. Sure enough they arrived --- and after a quick look told me that they could put in a disposal but the plumbing inside the wall would have to be redone; more costly and they do that kind of work. I was told exactly how much I was expected to pay them for the install. Loved they had booked the appointment, loved their receptionist and loved Chris the plumber. Just moved into this house so its great finding a plumber without having the horror of a clogged toilet....yet!

Whilst my husband was away, my sink suddenly wouldnt drain. Turns out there was a clog from my damaged garbage disposal. These guys came quickly, and were able to flush away the cog, ensuring my sink now works great.
The technician shows up within the time frame given in a uniform. Who does this anymore? The knowledgeable young man Chris was able to solve the problem quickly and offer solutions to any possible future problems. I was totally satisfied and felt comfortable having King Arthur in my home.

Major sink issues with the rain and not only did he fix it, he was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was super responsive and took the time to explain what he was doing, what the issue was, etc. I learned a lot about whats what in my house from him! He also was very conscientious to not track dirt in and clean up afterwards. I was not expecting such amazing service by just finding someone online quickly for an emergency. I have been having problems with my water heater for a few months now. It would just not heat very well and I have had to replace the thermo coupler a few times. Turns out the control was bad all this time. They replaced the control and now I have hot water all the time. Very friendly and they know what they are doing.
Called them on fathers day for a service on my air conditioning system. The technician was very professional and temporarily repaired our ac. They set us up for a replacement system with next day install. Very impressed
Just got off the phone with them had an emergency leak and I live in an apartment building and it was after midnight so it was especially a big deal. They said they would be here first thing in the morning but they walked me through how to stop the leak with some simple hand tools so it could wait until the morning
