I would give this company 10 stars if I could. Its so refreshing to deal with an honest, hardworking, responsive business that stands by their work. I had water in the fuel line of my Honda lawnmower. Will Thorne and his Pro-Core team came out to flush the line. It worked for a little while but stopped again. Pro-Core came out another two times to make sure everything was running properly and refused additional payment for the extra trips. He also gave me some tips on lawn mowing and oiled some rusty spots and fixed my ignition cord. Hes very knowledgeable and has great customer service skills.I love it that Pro-Core came to my home rather than me having to drive somewhere and drop off my equipment and letting it sit in a warehouse until it can be serviced. Pro-Core was busy this spring so I had to wait a few weeks before they could get to me, but they were well worth the wait! (And the wait was less than other drop-off repair places I called.) The scheduling was very easy--just a few texts and emails to confirm day and location. And they came back immediately to fix the problems that werent resolved the first time. Very reasonable pricing too.Five plus stars!

Today I had the pleasure of speaking with 2 excellent customer service representatives (Will & Ashley) from Pro-Core Small Engine Repair. I was having an issue with a 20 year old Honda lawn mower. After explaining my problems to the administrative assistant- Ashley, she relayed my issues to the owner- Will. He called me back within minutes. Will explained he does not service the town where the lawnmower is located. Instead of ending the call, as other small engine repair facilities have done, Will did a Q&A review and gave me some excellent recommendations. He also advised me not to invest a lot of $ into the lawnmower, based on the age and other issues he discovered during the Q&A session. Additionally, if I could not fix the problem, Will recommended turning my self propelled lawn mower into a standard push mower and told me how to do it. I am a retired Senior Customer Service Manager with an international pest control company. I found Will & Ashley to be a refreshing change in my recent customer service inquiries I highly recommend contacting Pro-Core for any of your lawn equipment and small engine problems.I am glad I was able to make contact with someone who genuinely cares about the customer. I was recommended to Pro-Core by Richard from Mower Medic whom Id worked with previously and who has since retired. Will called and I let him know some of the issues I was having with the riding lawn mower which had been sitting for two years since it had died during a cutting. Will came out diagnosed the problem which turned out to be the carburetor and completed a tune-up. The mower ran great.I would definitely recommend Pro-Core. They are dependable, professional yet friendly. They will explain what steps they are doing but do so in laymans terms to where the less mechanically inclined person would be able to understand. I will definitely be calling on them again.No, I didnt mention about making sure you have a full tank of gas before you actually cut the grass! Truly appreciate it, Will!

They dont work on chainsaws, but were magnanimous enough to call and give me suggestions and advice on steps to make repairs myself. My wife found Pro-Core online looking through the Google reviews and setup an appointment. I instantly surprised by the immediate phone call return (not used to it these days) and having an appointment scheduled. followed by an email and text message for appointment. Willie was very professional called me before the appointment to me know all the costs upfront, and then again prior to diagnostics. Made the appointment and the two men came over to my residency and took a look at my lawnmower. They diagnosed it and told me what was wrong with it. 15 minutes later are the diagnosis, the lawnmower started. They also gave recommendations about what I should use since my lawn is pretty small. Pro-core has been servicing my Honda mower for a couple years now. They show up on time, get the job done, and the mower runs great all season. Great company and a huge help for someone that doesn’t have the know-how or a truck to load the mower to take it in. I also got a couple other gas powered yard tools as hand me downs and both weren’t working. Pro-core checked them out, identified the issue, provided an estimate, and gave their opinion that it wasn’t worthwhile to fix them given the age and state of the equipment. I really appreciate the honesty even when it cost them a repair fee. That is truly great customer service.

Like most homeowners I have my strengths and weaknesses. One area where I don’t do well in is the care and maintenance of small engines. This is where Pro-Core Mobile Lawn Equipment comes in. I have a Cub Cadet Snow Blower that would not start. I called Pro-Core and the phone was answered immediately. Within a matter of minutes a home visit appointment was made to fix my snow blower. On the day of the appointment I was notified by text that the techs were 10 minutes away and in route. When they arrived I tried to be as accommodating as possible with what resources I had available. The tech said that they have everything that they need in the van. We talked about the history on the machine for a few minutes and he told me he’d have it up and running in 20 minutes. True to his word the snow blower was running like a champ within that 20 minute window. The issue was a clogged carburetor.The fellas with Pro-Core Mobile Lawn Equipment were on time, professional, polite and obviously knowledgeable in their line of work. I can’t thank Pro-Core enough for fixing my snow blower.

My lawn mower is four years old and have never been serviced. Will was responsive, showed up to the house on time, explained the service to be performed on the lawn mower, and solicited any concerns of question that I might have before he got started. He professionally performed a full tune-up service and changed the blades, then explained the ins and outs of my lawn mower; how often to change the gas, type of gas to use, etc. I will definitely use Pro-Core Mobile services again every year, and I highly recommend this company.

A few weeks ago, Will came out to service my Husqvarna 42 ride-on mower. He was on-time and came prepared with the all the right equipment for the job. He was upfront about pricing and discussed everything required to perform the tasks prior to starting the work. At no point did I feel like I was being upsold on useless extras.During the visit, he noticed two small, minor parts had broken off at some point last season. While he didnt have the part available, he offered to provide Amazon shopping links and even walked me through the easy replacement to avoid another service visit. I had no issues with the task a few days later.By the time he was done, my mower was running again and I couldnt be happier with the service. I would recommend him to anyone.

Will was very responsive, let me know right away that he was very busy so it may be a week or 10 days before he could get to me. He also has help in the Admin area, forget her name, but she was very communicative as well. She followed up with me a few days after I spoke to Will, to make the appointment. Then Will came to my house on that day and after I told him what was going on with my small engines...he knew right away what the issue was and proceeded to fix it. I had him look at 2 of my small engines (a riding mower and a generator). Both were mainly carb issues...which Im guessing is the majority of what he sees with small engines. The gas we use in these small engines is really the culprit of alot of our issues. Will recommends Sea-Foam for the fuel stabilizer, above other brands. He also recommends winterizing small engines completely when done using them for the season (get all the gas out, if possible). All in all, Will does a tremendous job...he has a great work ethic and is pleasant to be around. He must be a people person to put up with someone like me who likes to talk to him and ask alot of questions while hes working. He takes it all in stride and has no problem with telling you what he is doing and answering your questions. He also has a helper...Arlyss...I think is his name. Good guys, the two work well together and they fix things right, they have a good system. Will is reasonable and fair...gave me a discount for having a multi-repair job. I will use him again, I am sure of it. My neighbor also noticed he was at my house and asked about him...I gave him Wills number and a recommendation. Try Will out for yourself...I think youll be happy you did!

I had my two year old Cub Cadet serviced at the beginning of the season. $242, a bit steep for a $1500 mower but cest la vie. Next time I went to start it, it would cough and then not start; the starter would click but nothing. After several weeks, I had the company come back out after saying the mower wouldnt start after the service. $75 to diagnose a bad battery which is a service which was allegedly provided by the initial service. How a non-starting mowers battery goes bad I dont know. So I replace the battery and I *still* have the same issue. So thats $317 sunk into a mower that doesnt work which ran fine last fall before it was serviced. Your experience may vary, but mine has been unbelievably disappointing.

Great service and very professional. After setting up an appointment with Will, they arrived on time and very quickly diagnosed the problem with my mower. I had a mower that was left at my new house and it wasnt working. Called the number for pro-core and on their voicemail they said to text so thay can get back to you sooner and they do. I received a call no later than 2 hours after my text and was asked what the problem was and given an appointment and told the process and how much it will be the come and diagnose the problem. On the day of my appointment Will gave me a call said he was in the neighborhood and asked if it was ok to come early. I was ok with that. When he came before he got out of the can he asked if I preferred he wear a mask or not (which i was appreciative for him asking). He looked at the mower listened to claim and told me the problem and explained what he needed to do. I told him to go ahead and fix it and within seconds him and his partner had the mower by their van and they were getting to work. I explained to will that this was my first house and first time home buyer and he took the time to explain to me what needed to be done periodically and how to care for it and we had a friendly chat. They were quick, professional and friendly. If you need any work done on lawn equipment or such call this company they were awesome. Also to the appointment system they used was very efficient. My mower was stuck in my back yard. I couldn’t get it started and it was stuck in gear. I found this business online and called not expecting anything much, but after talking with him and explaining my situation he came over pretty quick. He got my gear unstuck in about a minute after crawling under it. Then he rolled it out front and it seem like only a few minutes - while telling me about every piece of the mower - before he had the engine apart and found that mice built a nest. He explained how often this happens. Unfortunately the mice resulted in my needing a new starter cause I burnt it out holding the key on trying to start it while the nest froze the trigger to allow the engine to turn. Will explained every detail of what he was doing and why during the whole process and ended up taking my tractor back to the shop, fixed it, and then returned it to me.He’s about the kindest, honest, most personable mechanic I’ve ever met. Told me options on saving money on certain parts and how to fix certain things myself. I enjoyed listening to the fish stories too.-Mike W.

Professional, Efficient, Convenient. They came to my house, diagnosed my problem in 30 seconds, and effected repair with full service in 30 minutes. Cant ask for anything better, all at a very fair price. EXCELLENT! Follow up: The original problem was with my carburetor which Will and Rich rebuilt and ran fine for two months. Alas, after the problem resurfaced, we thought it best just to replace the part. Will did the research and found the exact part on line, brand new, for less than half price (to include free shipping). They came back for the installation, and now my mower is as good as new. Total price for the part - $22; for the service $0. Again, I cant ask for anything better - these guys are great.

This is what I wish every small business experience was like. The customer service was great; they kept me informed every step of the way. They were able to come to my house to fix my riding mower (no need to bring it to a shop.) When every other place had a 3 week wait just to start looking at it, they had me up and running in half the time. They were up front about the pricing and there were no surprises. Just a great experience overall.

I left the mower in the driveway and they had it repaired before I even knew they were there. Pro Core is very quick and knowledgeable about their work. I was recommended to Pro-Core by one of my friends after calling several other places where I received expensive quote costs and impersonal customer service. Inquiring as a female it had been a challenge to find a repairman who would take the time to explain things to me in a way that someone without mechanical knowledge could understand. Excellent service. They came out twice to diagnose the problem with our rider mower and then to fix it once the part arrived. Helpful and professional, and honest about what the problem was and what we needed to do to repair it. They didnt try to sell us a lot of unnecessary parts or services. It was great to have them come to our house, rather than have to drag our heavy mower in to a shop. Their prices are reasonable, and clearly explained both verbally and on their bill. I highly recommend them.

I scheduled PROCORE to work on my lawn tractor. Will and his partner were very professional and courteous. All work they would perform, and the pricing, was explained in detail before they started. They completed the work in 1 ½ hours and then explained everything they had done. The tractor has not run this well in years. The costs for the work also seemed reasonable. I would certainly recommend them.

He called to let me know he was on the way. He talked me through the process of fixing my lawnmower and he offered suggestions on how to maintain its upkeep.

After years of dealing with torn auger belts on my snowblower, Will and a colleague came out to fix my snowblower last October and tune it up for the winter. Will and Rich did a super job of servicing my Honda push mower. They were competent, proficient and capable demonstrating openness, frankness, and honesty regarding the repairs. Unlike some companies, you do not have purchase the parts from them. If you purchase the parts,they will install them at their labor rates.I recommend if you need any service give them a call.

Will was fantastic! He called before he came, he came on time and he got my 22 year old lawnmower running great! He also cleaned up so that you would never even know that he had been there. It was really nice to not have to load up my lawnmower and take it somewhere for service. As an added bonus, he gave my son tips on learning to ride a bicycle! I would highly recommend him!

Great experience, definitely would recommend and use again in the future. After a slight online scheduling glitch, Will was able to get me on his schedule and then even worked on my mower earlier than expected. He provided a comprehensive invoice with details of work completed, along with pictures to support his work. He got more than he bargained for with mice living in my mower, but he handled it all and my mower is as good as new! Will completed a yearly service on my lawn tractor and it ran better than when it was new....still running strong. I picked up a stick (a few weeks later) which caused damage to my deck belt. Will and Richard came by and replaced it...first suggesting ways to save me some money by getting s replacement belt from Amazon, then putting it on, all within several days. Richard and Will problem solve each issue and try to find the most cost effective way to repair it. I highly recommend them.
