I have been a Michaels customer for 20 years. Usually I purchase art supplies and frames. Recently I went to Michaels in Woodbury to purchase fake floral for our 50th high school reunion. The store was clean and well organized, and I found everything I needed to make 15 tall centerpieces for Eiffel Tower vases. I used Gerber daisies, giant sunflowers, and russet and white hydrangeas plus greenery. The next morning I put together several arrangements in autumn colors. The photo is the floral assortment before separating it into 15 arrangements. The employee at checkout was friendly and organized. Hope to be a customer for at least another 20 years.

I wish Michaels made people want to buy my handmade jewelry.

One of my favorite craft stores. They carry ALMOST everything I need. But their stickers are not what they used to be. Now its a sad tiny section

Everything is better with glitter on it. Glue that can stick anything to anything. Plus I love their decor for Halloween this year. Its going to be my apartment decor on permanent frfr.

Store is clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. Staff is friendly and helpful as well as diligent about wipe downs between checkouts.

We are relatively regular customers and got a text with a coupon saying 25% off all regular priced items. Simple and to the point. No fine print.We went to the store and spent 30 minutes picking out an artificial Christmas tree. A $379 Regular price tree. Not on sale...none of them were. Went to checkout and showed our phone coupon and we noticed it took 25% off another item (priced at $9) but not the tree. We told the girl it shouldve discounted the tree and sh9e said it didnt because it was on sale. We said our, the tag clearly shows regular price. I asked to talk to Manager. A girl came up and we went through the story again. She said seasonal items are excluded. We shoed our text and asked her to show us that exclusion or a link to one. There was none. She went to the website and pulled up a coupon, which did exclude Christmas trees, but it wasnt what was sent to us. She then asked if we still wanted the tree without discount. I said yes, but this is deceptive and I would write a bad review. To which she said so, you still want it? Ill go get it.DECEPTIVE and just poor customer experience. And we wonder why brick and morter stores are closing up. MICHAELs....I WANT MY $98 DISCOUNT!

Customer service was excellent. I was there very close to closing and I did not feel rushed or pushed out. The cashier was extremely friendly. Great customer service is so important to me. 👍

Craft store. Cashiers could learn more about returns and the process.

My friend and I went to buy some of the clearance grab bags/boxes and all they had left were bags. Some of the bags were fairly small, with only a few items, and nothing compared to the bags/boxes I see other people purchasing, from other locations. I was very disappointed when one lady was foing through the bags and taking out items she wanted, so basically making her own bags and putting the items she didnt want into other bags! Another person came through and was tearing open all of the bags, to see what was inside, and leaving the bags all open and/or having holes in them so when you tried to pick up a bag, to place in your cart, the bag would tear and I had to keep asking employees for new bags to transfer items into so I didnt end up with all of the contents all over the floor! One of the employees was amazing and very helpful BUT...the manager seemed inconvenienced, by my request for an additional bag. I asked the girl employee why they dont just use boxes, like so many other locations, in order to avoid people tearing open the bags and having the items rip holes in the bags, and she did not know why they did not use boxes instead. At least this store did not lie to me about even having any grab boxes, like the Apple Valley location has on multiple occasions!

So hot! Sexy librarian types on every aisle! Come for the art supplies and leave with a new found appreciation for the craft!

Large. I wish that the transition from the “seasonal section” was quicker. I never know if it’s just highly picked over and the scraps are left or if they are in the process of changing it.

I loved this Michaels location. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was looking for foam I could use too build an armrest in my bus and they found the perfect material for me.

Halloween stuff are on sale. If I had more money, it would all be done, I love coming here for yarn and other crafts!

I left a framed print that needed glass and a new mat at the store. When I went to the store to pick up my pieces- frame, glass, print and mat, I asked the gentleman who waited on me what would be the best way to attach the print to the mat? He said to give him a minute-he took my frame, glass, mat and print and assembled them all together for me. I truly appreciated his help and thoughtfulness.

Great store would be nice if they had a motorized cart to drive

This was my first time shopping at Michaels and I could have definitely have used some employee assistance finding what I was looking for.

There was a large amount of supply in stone areas, others really didnt have anything. The real problem with the store was that there really werent any employees there. We only seen two people in the entire store and each one was just in a blah mood, not happy to help or even asking if they could. It felt more life walking through a warehouse than shopping for crafts.

Trying to search for an item on their web page, the search doesnt work.... so I call the store to see if they have the item and also to tell them their website isnt working properly and they hang up on me every time, called 7 times now... so yeah lost my service I guess.

I was disappointed in what I needed to find a certain bead that was a 6mm that a pink Swarovski diamond shaped crystal.

Good store and friendly staff

Many helpful items in the store. Particularly some nylon thread used for beading which I used to see my brand new shoes that I slices open while scraping some ice.

My visit was very nice! The item I looked up online was in store and the price was correct.

To be fair, the store is a time of transitioning seasons and employees seem like they have their hands full with those tasks. I did ask two employees about a crafting item and was told it was probably in the clearance section. It was not, and was in its regular place in its normal aisle. I checked online before I decided to give up and the exact aisle was listed online for this store. Luckily there were two left. Customer service isnt their strong point at this location. Cleanliness is also not on the top of their list as the bathroom was very dirty with tp and paper towells all over the floor. Thankfully adequate soap was available.

Have many unique decors and supplies for every project or hobby imaginable!

I love it here. I get all of my paper craft items from here, the only disappointment is that I have wanted the cricut heat press for some time and everything I go they are sold out. Bummer, other than that I love the prices and quality of all my purchases.

Usually love the store, still hate the prices. My only issue here was finding someone to help me find was I was looking for. I was in the right aisle it was mixed in with other things. She even had to look it up herself. Literally only two people work.

Love, love, love Michaels. Obviously as a craft lover I can get lost for hours in this store. But this location was great. Clean, the staff was very friendly and helped when i asked a question, they were working on switching some decor out and still jumped to help.

The store is nice. Following social distancing as well. The only thing is its too hot on there. Need to turn AC up when temp is over 95°. I was wringing wet by the time I got to register. Employees very nice.

Michaels no longer accepts competitors coupons. Thats good to know. I have also noticed that Michaels is not offering 50% off coupons anymore. I have no interest in their Rewards program. Why should I spend money to earn a coupon? No thanks. I will not shop at Michaels as often as I did in the past.Theyd rather lose a sale than accept a coupon from JoAnn Fabrics. Oh well, its their loss. And their merchandise is very overpriced.

Out of what I want every time I go, But still the best selection compared to a high priced art store

I order from here very often and I always get treated well! Since the pandemic, Ive been ordering for curbside pick-up and theyre always so quick to get it ready. I ordered curbside once for another location, and it took them until the next day to get my order ready, so Woodbury works very quickly!

They have great deals on Christmas decorations.

Its the little places that make it home..the food is amazing always hot..and the waitress are ready to serve with a smile ..love this place

Very helpful people. I went to the frame making counter to get help with art supplies. She tried to call someone to help, she relayed some information and they made a recommendation that is working perfectly for me.

A great place to find things to do. The only thing I might change is that it is packed. Other wise, its a great place to go for quarantine.

The store has lots of craft supplies, but they were out of tge hats I needed today. The associate helping me couldnt even guess at when they would be in stock again, which doesnt instill me with much confidence.

There is enough craft making items to find a passion and small enough store not to feel lost. If they had an extra area set aside to actually buy and then work on stuff right there it could be a good enhancement to the business. Maybe set up classes as well throughout the week. That way people know what to get, where to get it, and a place to make it. A one stop shop.

Great place to go always has sales. Great prices got a bucket of crayons for $5. If you have the app you can get things like$20 off $50 purchase. And other great coupons. I was able to stock my craft corner with all new items!

Michaels has the best flowers to choose from! They have so many neat crafts for kids! Ive purchased many wooden signs from them and they look spectacular in my home! Its definitely a go to spot!

This is a nice location. Very clean and well stocked. I was not greeted or asked if I needed help not once and I actually was in need of assistance. I either couldnt find anyone or they walked off before I could get to them.😢 After looking lost for about 9 minutes I was able to find exactly what I needed. I would reccomend this location because I have been here before and it was an amazing experience. Lots of smiles and helpful staff. (On Some Days)

I had great customer service- called ahead to make sure the item I was looking for was available. The associate on the phone was very polite and quickly got the item I needed reserved for pick up. The cashier was fast, minimal waiting in line. She was also very friendly and polite.

I had a very good experience at the Michaels in Woodbury. The employee Betsy made a very strong effort to help us and was very polite, also a very hard worker. You could tell she loved her job and was very happy to help us. I’m very glad to say we walked out of the store very happy. Definitely the best visit I have had at Michaels, and I will be back soon!!!

Great customer service. Helped us look for product that was out of stock on the display through multiple locations in store, when that was unsuccessful located another nearby location to hold one and apply the coupon that expired same day.

The staff at this Michaels location are some of the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever met. They are always quick to offer support and ideas when I visit, and their enthusiasm reflects a genuine passion for what they do and a dedication to quality service and customer support. This is my go-to crafting location, hands down.

I love this place.. The employee was so helpful and sweet. She took the many items out of my hands when I was carrying too much to the register so I could continue shopping. Great range of crafting materials, couldnt beat the prices either.

I absolutely love Michaels​, almost everything about it is perfect! However the staff in this particular store always make the experience a little unpleasant. When walking through the store, not a single employee will greet you, or ask you if you need anything​. They make little to no attempts in engaging in small talk. I shop here all the time and love it, I just wish there was better service.

If you need something artsy and crafty, Michaels is one of the best last remaining stores to serve that need. Prices are reasonable, and this particular store is still new

Lots of cool stuff but crabby grandma cashiers every time I go there. If I was a knitter or sewer maybe the wouldn’t scoff so much.

Once again, this is why I prefer Hobby Lobby. No staff in sight (except cashiers and framers). Wandered up and down every aisle twice for 30 minutes. Did not find the 2 basic items. Ill go to hobby lobby for their great selection and abundance of courteous service staff around each corner.
