I ordered a bundle of three used games online and one of the games I received was the wrong game, so I came into this location to get help. The employee Tyler was super kind and helpful in walking me through the steps it would take to get the right game. I was refunded for the incorrect game and able to pick up the correct used copy. 10/10 would recommend coming to this location if you need help with anything!

The woodland Gamestop is one of the most professional game stores that I have ever been in. All the employees are fun to talk to and very knowledgeable about the gaming industry. Definitely come here to order your games and console accessories! They also have really good deals on other merchandise, such as shirts, toys and electronics.

Bought a switch online from gamestop. Two weeks later something went loose inside and now the fan is very loud whenever it turns on. Zach at this gamestop told me fan noise is normal and wouldnt help me with an exchange or return. Hopefully I can return it online and go buy a new one from target.

The people who work there are nice and know their games. If you need help they can help you quickly depending on what it is of course. I have been going there for years and have never had any problems. So if your looking to buy games quickly this is the place to go.

Came by recently to buy a Switch for the new Fire Emblem. Guy at the counter was super friendly and helped me with my questions while also suggesting things I might need, without seeming like he was blindly up selling. Wish I remembered his name but he was very fun to talk to and helped me out greatly. Shame this one is not in my home town, Id come by more often.

Its a GameStop, same as any other GameStop in the U.S. Youll find the same games, the same teens working the counter who dont know or dont care what theyre talking about. Sometimes you get the occasional employee who actually knows what theyre talking about and can help or give honest advice about a product or game. Other than that, the games are priced the same as any other GameStop, yet sometimes cheaper than Walmart or target. When I go in here, I usually come in knowing what Im looking for, or make a payment on a prepaid game. They have a lot of games for all consoles and take part in the newest releases so I dont have to go to another city to find what Im looking for.

This store practices social distancing, minimal parties inside at the same time, plus masks. Friendly staff. I took 1 star away because they were lacking stock on several items... controllers, switch, etc. Call ahead if you want either item mentioned to check stock.

I went there for one game and bought two great variety good people

They said that I could just take a picture of the QR code to get a shinny pokemon so I did take a picture of the code but when I got home it didnt work and I had to download pokemon pass to use the code but I had to be in THE STORE to scan it with the app and THEY NEVER TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO DO ALL OF THAT and 1 star is to generous if I could give 0 stars I would.

WOODLAND GAMESTOP: I live in Marysville, but come to Woodland 1-2 times per week on business, and since I love gaming, I have frequented GameStop. I am a card carring member and have purchased multiple platforms for both myself and family members as gifts, Ive purchased new and used games, and am familiar with trading, as well. I had purchased a game for my XBox One that was suppose to play on it--according to the clerk. It was a 360 game, but was assured it was compatible. I took it home and it was several days until I got a chance to open it and try it out. Nope. It didnt work. I then went to the internet to check out the particular game for myself. It, too, said, no go. So, the following week, I called the Woodland GameStop, told them about the problem, and I was assured that I could bring the item back for a full refund. A week went by, and I finally got to Woodland with the game and receipt. The clerk looked at the item and said he couldnt accept the item for return as it had been opened. I explained that I had been assured it was compatible, when it wasnt. He said he was sorry, but that was store policy. I went around and around with him again a few times relating the whole story with many customers watching in amazement as both he and I got a little louder. I asked to talk to his manager, and he said he was the manager. Whether he was or not, I do not know. At my ropes end I finally asked if I could at least get store credit for the game and he yelled back at me he wouldnt do that either, that he had done everything he could for me, and that because of store policy, he could do no more. He kept saying that. Store policy wouldnt allow him to do anything. The following week I went to a GameStop in Yuba City, and what a different story, I got there. At once, the clerk told me that I never should have been assured that game was compatible because there is a list the clerk could have easily checked. Second, I was overcharged. Third, I didnt get the credits on my card. Fourth, this clerk was polite and willing to help me where the Woodland GameStop clerk wouldnt. So, I know that the only policy was that the Woodland store made up there own police and customer relations were not important to them. I will never shop at that store again. I continue to be a member of GameStop, but now I am loyal to the Yuba City store. It seems to me that as long as they are taking your money they are happy with you, but as soon as there is a problem, watch out, you dont know how they will treat you.

Went here to sell my wii, when i got there i realized i forgot the wii and only brought the controller and wires for the wii, i told the guy working there and sold him the controllers and wires when i came back a few days later the same employee told me i couldnt sell the wii without the controllers or wires i had sold him, he also said that the games i bought for $150 that were in good condition were only worth $30. DONT COME HERE
