Every time I go in, the staff is so nice and welcoming. Staff up front always helps me pick out the perfect pair of glasses even if I start to get picky and say no to some styles. They’re always very informative about their deals going on, which is great! Exams/appointments I’ve had here are always great, Doctor’s always inform me to the fullest about what’s going on with my eye health and I feel like I can ask them about anything without feeling intimidated. Plus, their technician if you’re there early and it’s not too busy your glasses will be ready in a timely manner. Which can be very rare when it comes to shopping around for glasses. So just everything in my experience with this Pearle Vision has always been great!

Going to the get anything done with eyes is a little daunting during a global pandemic, but the team at Pearle Vision made my husband and I feel extremely safe during our visits there the past couple of weeks. Masks were worn, disinfecting was consistent and social distancing was respected. Regardless of COVID, this team is always extremely friendly and accommodating. They were able to squeeze me in for an appointment very last minute & even did everything in their power to get me my contacts trials as soon as possible, as my prescription is high and was on back order. We have been coming here since 2019 and will continue to do so!

I had an excellent experience at this Pearle Vision location. The doctor and staff are friendly. I got greeted upon arrival and was offered assistance right away. They have a large selection of frames and I was able to find a pair of frames that were stylish and fit my face. I received help on selecting a pair of frames from the five that I chose. It was nice getting on the spot honest feedback on the frames I selected. This was my first time at this Pearle Vision location. I used to go to Sears Optical but now there arent any locations near me so I decided to check out Pearle Vision and I wasnt disappointed!

I made an appointment online which was so convenient. When I got to my appointment I was taken right away and treated professionally and with all COVID precautions. Dr Barsky was so thorough, when she was done with the examination she went over the results, explained everything in a way that I totally understood them and encouraged proactive yearly exams. I then went to the floor where I was met by Victoria. Victoria spent so much time with me going through all of the different styles of glasses and sunglasses!! Wow, that process is so so hard for me!! Victoria is stylish so she took me through that journey and made it fun and left me with confidence!!! I 100% recommend this facility for your eye care needs!!

Great overall experience, Victoria and Krystal really helped me out with finding stylish frames and called me right away when the transition frames came in so I could drop them off before work and they were ready in one hour which is AWESOME!! I’ll definitely be going back for another pair soon!!

Dayana and the Doctor were great. Very polite, partient, well spoken. I was 10 minutes late for my appointment and they helped me right away. They gave me the best deal possible on brand new Versace glasses and presciption Ray Ban Aviators. They found my insurance without me having a card and let me pay down half and half for the new prescriptions. I have been a Pearle Vision patient since high school and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I was shopping in the area and randomly walked in to check out your eyeglass frames. You had many higher end brands that my son actually liked. There was a young lady that helped us named Crystal, she was super patient and answered all of our questions, we ended up buying 2 pairs! Ugh, didnt plan on buying anything but your prices were very reasonable. Please thank her on our behalf. See you next year for our next eye exam.

Frankly, I would give it no stars. The exam was poorly handled. The one eye exam piece was never locked in place so I had to keep moving my head to try and keep on contact. When I pointed out an issue with testing my left eye I was ignored. When I went to another optometrist, my prescription was quite different. The cost they tried to pressure me to pay for glasses would have been a waste of $500. As for prices, they are very high. Offering a big discount, which everyone gets, is a very questionable business practice. Since everyone gets it, just present it as the real price, I view such prices as dishonest. Offering them after an unprofessional exam that took no care over my eye health just makes it worse. I could not recommend the office less.The response from the store has several lies in it. First, I did not choose premium frames, but one of the cheapest they had. Also, I did not have insurance. Thats two lies right there.I will never spend my time and money at such a disreputable chain.

We were thrilled to find a flexible frame that matched the style of the previous glasses we got at Pearle Woodridge over five years ago. Victoria is patient and knowledgeable, and one of main reasons we are happy to be return customers.

Shortly after that, Dr Barsky saw me and began her always very professional and friendly exam. Upon completion with that, Victoria was extremely helpful assisting with her expertise in selecting just the right frames for both eye glasses and sunglasses. Boris went over making sure the measurements would be precise and accurate. Victoria then cared for finalizing the order, and now all I need to do is wait for my new glasses. Can’t wait! Thank you, too, for your extra care in COVID safety. I was in and out faster than I had thought, appreciate everyone’s attention to detail and focus on eye health. And service with a smile, even experienced wearing masks, made for a very satisfied (and returning) customer.

I wanted to share my experience with the Pearle Vision located in the Woodgrove Festival Retail Complex in Woodridge, IL. I give this business an A+ for professionalism, customer service, quality of service and efficiency of their operation. Dr. Barsky and all staff were knowledgeable, caring and make you feel that your case and needs are important. Michelle who assisted me with selecting frame types has an eye and gift for frames that look marvelous on you. The facility was immaculately kept, and the eye exam procedure was the most streamlined and efficient that I have ever experienced. Covid protocals are in place to keep each patient safe and comfortable.

Went in today 3/9/21 to get an eye exam and new glasses. Dayana was so nice and helpful and explained everything to me very well. She even helped me pick out my frames! Went in for a contact follow up. Im trying to find contacts that are a less expensive option that what Im currently using. The ones they gave me were so uncomfortable that I couldnt even wear them into the follow up. I had to bring my 2 little kids into my appointment and they said I couldnt even keep the appointment because I didnt have my trials in for 45 minutes. They never told me that this was necessary. I was treated very rudely and they were not accommodating or apologetic. Not willing to work with me at all and said I was only allowed 1 follow up so this is it. I will not be coming back here.

I have been going to this Pearle Vision for many years. The optometrist is fantastic. The optician are very helpful and are willing to spend time with you so you get the right pair of glasses!

Thanks to the pandemic, I wasnt able to go the the optometrist like I wanted last year, and determined my local pearle vision wasnt taking covid seriously enough for me to be comfortable going in for an appointment. This location was FANTASTIC and Im SO GLAD I decided to come here instead.we were able to get appointments for that day. It was exceptionally clean and social distancing was really well done. The technicians really, truly care that you look how you want to and that you like the way you look. Our technician, I think her name is Victoria, Im so sorry if I got that wrong, was absolutely incredible. I said I wanted a specific lens shape, and Victoria 1000000% listened and quite seriously helped me try on probably 50 pairs. when you consider that they are sanitizing the try on pairs between patrons, thats a lot of extra work to sign up for just to see if I like something. I feel like anywhere else, the tech would have put on a third pair and said good enough, you look fine. not here.they also recently got a new machine for the eye puff test, whatever its called. Thats usually my least favorite part of the exam, and the new machine they have made it virtually unnoticable.I genuinely love this office and will be coming back. Could not recommend enough.

My wife had complained about the contacts prescribed but the optometrist said thats the best we can do so we went to a different location and the new dr wrote a completely different size for one of her eyes and now she can see again.

I went to get my yearly check up and as soon as I walked in the staff was very professional. Dayana 1 took care of me and as soon as she sat me down Diana 2 started the karaoke. If you are there on karaoke hour you may get charged a little more but it’s worth it.

I had an eye exam at this location back in November of 2020. At the time of my appointment the doctor who examined my eyes seemed very nice. The assistant at the time seemed a little irritated that I did want to purchase their over priced eye glasses. Im sorry but if you choose a job in sales and commission accept the fact that everyone will not be willing to be influenced to purchase what you have to offer. Ive learned my lesson with educating myself on how this system works... You learn that insurance covers a very small percentage of your eyeglasses. You pay $500 or more for one pair of glasses at one of the big store chains like Pearle. So I explored a few online stores that offer far more designer eyewear for a fraction of what you would pay in the store and you can use your FSA or HSA towards your purchase if not all of it. Ok, back to my experience after I told the assistant I did not want to purchase any glasses. I asked if I could have a print out of my prescription, She gave me a little attitude (Im sorry but its not that serious, if your that dependent on comission you clearly need to seriously think about making some career adjustments). Heres the kicker, I asked if she could measure my PD. She said yes but it will be an extra charge of $20 (in a condescending tone). I said ok fine, she measured me and I paid and left. I recently placed an online order for eyeglasses with the prescription that I received from this location in February. I received my glasses in the mail last week. The prescription was wrong, my left eye lense was terrible. I could not focus, so I called Pearle Vision and explained what happened and I was scheduled to come in to be re-examined. I get there and I was told to have a seat and the doctor would be with me shortly. While Im waiting to be seen, I noticed an asian lady talking with the doctor and explaining to her that she wasnt comfortable about her prescription and etc. I thought to myself... Oh boy! Is this a regular thing or what?... So, the doctor calls me back and I explain to her that I felt like my prescription is wrong. I had a print out of my prescription and handed it to her and she says.... Oh! There must have been a typo. She then asked for the glasses that I purchased online and she examined them. She asked me to put them on and she places a lens over the left eye asked if it was better... I responded yes, and she responds by saying That was an easy fix and Ill have one of the girls to make the adjustments and print out a new prescription. The same assistant that helped me in November helped me today. She gives me the print out and I left. Heres the thing, This was an inconvenience for me. I am out of money for glasses that I cant have repaired and I was told by the online store that its better to reorder the glasses with a fifty percent off coupon(provided by them) than sending them back for repair. The doctor did not offer any compensation for the glasses or even a coupon to purchase from Pearle. I usually do not do reviews on anything but when it comes to service I feel the need to voice it. I will Not come back to this location again. I usually go to the Oakbrook location and I have always had a great experience. For those that are interested in purchasing your designer eyewear for half the price.. You can go to framesdirect.com All you need is an updated prescription, your PD and facial measurements. You can look up how to measure your face on YouTube and your all set!

I had a terrific experience at the Pearl Vision in Woodridge, IL. I went in with my prescription, so I didnt use their doctors, but the associate (Michelle) that i worked with was extremely knowledgeable, helping me pick out a couple of flattering frames. She explained all of my options from most expensive to least expensive, explaining all the way, what the benefits (and downfalls) of each were. Didnt try to pad the price. She had another associate come by to double check her decisions, which I greatly appreciated, like the old saying goes, Measure twice, cut once I would highly recommend this store. I had a bad experience at a competitors store a month earlier (a different national chain) so this was a pleasure. i havent gotten the glasses yet so there is still a part of this that remains to be seen but so far Im very happy.

I highly recommend the Woodridge location. People are very professional and friendly. I got a pair of glasses about 5 years ago and enjoyed them for a long time. Back then Dayana helped me to pick out the pair that fit (some other places did not have any pair that fit my face) and gave me honest feedback and suggestions. This year Victoria helped me when I was picking out a new pair. She is also very professional and gave me her honest feedback. Dayana is still there, she was helping another customer. She did take a look at the pair I picked and gave me her feedback too. I am very happy that the team is the same and the service is constantly great after all these years since my first experience there. I am very happy with the service and my new glasses. I also highly recommend Varilux lenses, and this place has them.

Today was my first time coming here and my experience was great! I called in the morning and they were able to give me an appointment an hour later. The whole process went by very quick. I have been coming to this location for a few years. I really appreciate the fact that the associates here acknowledge you when you walk in and have a great attitude. All the staff is present and happy to help you, the doctor is friendly and professional. I have worked with the same associate, Jennifer each time I come in and shes awesome! I was in just yesterday and it had been over a year since Id been back and she still remembered me and my daughter. She is friendly and listens to help me find the best pair of glasses for my face and my budget!!

Very basic service. If you just want routine and lenses go here. But if you are more. Concerned with eye health, maintenance, preventing disease, and sound advice from doctors that care don’t go here. It be due to being a franchise but go to an eye specialist vs an optometrist. Not saying all optometrist are bad just at this location they are slow, careless, and not empathetic at all to your concerns.

The doctor I saw was excellent she answered all of my questions and was very informative. Very nice lady! The reason I am giving four stars and not five is because. My appointment was 4/1/19 and today is 5/3/19 which is a month and two days later. I was told I would get a call about two weeks from the date of my appointment to let me know my contacts were ready and to sign up for a quick class to show me how to use contacts. Well I never got that call I attempted to call them today and I was put on hold and told it said my order was processing she would look check and see if my glasses were there. She came back and advised me I should have received my glasses the same day and she would have someone call me back. I did received a call back stating someone called me and left a voicemail 4/2/19. I advised her I did not receive a voicemail. I would have appreciated it if they would have attempted a second follow up call or even emailed me because I never got any type of voicemail, and I check my voicemail daily because of the type of work I do.

People there are very nice and the service was great. I got a pair of sunglasses last year and a new pair of sunglasses as well as a pair of distance glasses this year. The have a lot of styles for one to choose.

Was leaving on vacation and needed glasses same day. I picked this Pearle due to all the high rated reviews. I was in and out in no time (around 30 min including new patient exam and retinal pictures). Glasses were completed a couple hours later and I can see again! The Dr. and Tina were both great! Jennifer was amazing and helped my mom and I find our perfect glasses! The staff was funny and helpful! Overall an amazing experience and we will be back. They were not pushy and helped us in every way possible!
