Had to replace my old sliding patio door. They did everything they could to get it installed as soon as possible. Repairs were great, and I love my door. The change in temperature was noticeable immediately. My kitchen is so much warmer now. Great service.

On the advice of a friend, I called Rusco and could not have been more pleased.It’s difficult to conduct any business during the COVID-19 crisis, but Rusco understood our concerns and waited until we were ready.When the day came to install the windows, the crew took much less time than I anticipated and left the house cleaner than it was before. (do not tell my wife I said this)When you combine a great product with great service, you get a great customer experience. I highly recommend Rusco if you need windows or doors.

After 50 years of the same windows, we decided to replace the windows in the house my Grandpa built from the ground up with his father. My wife and I have been renting the bottom unit of the two flat for almost 3 years now and every winter we would set the thermostat to 70 and it would never actually reach 55. After researching for a while on who to install the windows, Tom and Rusco Windows were recommended. He was very timely and drove a little out of his way to Niles to give us a estimate and show us the product we would be getting. Any questions we had (believe me, between my Grandpa and I there were a lot) were answered right away. We had 26 windows being replaced and they were put in under 2 days! The workers were very polite, hard-working and cleaned everything up when they were done. Now when we set the thermostat to 70 it actually is 70. Would highly recommend.

Rusco replaced windows and doors at my home two years ago. The product quality is topnotch and the workmanship is excellent. Last week had a minor repair that was needed and Tom ensured that it was done on a timely basis.

We recently (3/26) had our front door replaced in Darien. New fiberglass faux wood finish with textured glass and 2 sidelites, and exterior aluminum capping.The whole experience was fantastic, top to bottom. The owner, Tom, was our salesperson and took pride in the process from the moment he entered our home until the last bead of caulk went down. He was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, and most importantly approachable, non-aggressive, and fair. We were happy with the set of options, all the attention to the little details (of which there are a lot that going into one door, believe it or not), the price, and the quality of craftsmanship. Such an excellent job that we cannot wait to have Rusco install our Marvin Windows we ordered.It should also be said that this company was willing to complete this project for us in these uncertain times, being an essential construction enterprise. They gave us the option to do the project or to wait until we felt comfortable. After discussing with Tom and understanding that their crews were healthy and taking proper precautions to stay that way, we felt comfortable letting them perform the work at our home. We had Rusco install new siding and shutters on our home. We obtained three quotes and Rusco not only offered the best pricing but their presentation was excellent. They described in detail what they planned to do and demonstrated their products using samples. They were very thorough. They had great followup with us as well. The project was completed on time. The workers were timely, neat and considerate. We love the new look of our home as do our neighbors! We highly recommend Rusco.

Rusco was fantastic in every way!We had the windows in our entire house and the patio door replaced with Marvin Integrity windows. The windows are superb fiberglass outside (for low maintenance) wood on the inside painted to match our existing interior trim color. They were painted in advance at Rusco so that when they were installed by the amazing Andy and his crew they matched perfectly. That also minimized the mess in our house with very little touch up needed.Andys crew was all business - they know what they are doing! It looked like a synchronized machine -it seemed like they never stopped moving. Everything fit, they protected our wood floors and cleaned up immaculately every day.The bidding process was great - Paul handled every change clearly and flawlessly. All details were spelled out on his line item quotes and contract - if you are looking for windows call Paul at Rusco and at least give yourself a great option - quality, on-time at a competitive price.

I thought windows are just windows but basically it has its own science. RUSCO recently installed a new deck for us. Tom was great to work with. He followed the job from start to finish. His construction team was very meticulous. They took time to insure things were done right rather than rushing to get the job done. They cleaned up thoroughly after finishing. The result was a beautiful deck, perfectly level, with a super strong supporting structure beneath. We will enjoy this deck for many years to come. I would heartily recommend RUSCO and would not hesitate to call on them for future home improvements.

Buyer beware. We purchased all our doors and windows from Rusco many years ago. My front door window has 3 pieces of glass with the stained glass in the middle. The frame holding the glass warped. I called and talked to Kerin who informed me my door company went out of business, so I no longer had a warranty. I lived with the warped frame. In February the outside piece of glass broke after much back and forth....long story short I ordered the window in July. Even put a down payment. Rusco does NOT have an employee to install! I made an appointment with their outside person... he did not show, call or answer my calls. Kerin would not guarantee the window would fit. She informed me after I paid the standards had changed. A week later she had still not ordered the window. I canceled the window.I went to the office to order the window. I went to the office to cancel the order. When I asked to speak with someone other than Kerin she said shed have Tom call me. As I was leaving with my 3 year old grandson she yelled to the workers that were putting in a window and door display in the office. ..who wants to go for a drink? It was 11a.m.Id say that this whole experience with Kerin was very upsetting and unprofessional! And no call from Tom. I noticed he responded to all the great reviews!Needless to say I purchased a new door and NOT from Rusco.

Love the new Front Door and Storm Door. Ruscos installer Andy did a great job and worked really hard to take off the old door, sidelight, and storm door and replace them with the new equipment.The new door looks great and fits tight so no more wind leaks in the Winter.

I replaced the windows that line the front of my business and the windows themselves are amazing! It truly transformed the look of the outside of my building and gave a nice look inside as well. The only downside with them was I was not told that their finish work was extra. I was sold on how amazing their finish work was but it was never presented as an extra option. I just thought it was included. The nice thing is they did paint the wood trim before installing (which did delay the installation a week or so) as a sort of bonus (along with an extra piece of trim that I didnt expect, which was great). The downside of that was that all the wood had scratches, dents (along with the nail holes from installation), paint runs and spots that were missed when painted on install and needed to be repaired and/or finished. With that, I asked if they would finish the work and was told that I already got this extra (along with the extra piece of trim) and that I would be responsible for that myself since I did not pay for it. I was told that for most installs they dont do finish work and if they do it was paid extra for (again, never was presented any difference with a quote for finished and unfinished). Point here is I still had to have the wood stripped down, patched and repainted because much of it just looked really bad. Would have cost me less time and money had they left it unfinished and I did or hired someone to do it (wouldnt have had to sand at least but assume the scratches and dents would still be there so that all would have had to have been patched the same). As I mentioned, they did offer me a new piece of trim at no extra cost, which looks better than the piece I had in place (just would have needed to be painted to match), so I cant argue that. And I think they were trying to do me a favor by painting everything beforehand but had I known it wasnt included ahead of time and that they would not come back to finish I would have opted to just pay someone to do the finish work (or do it myself) as I believe it cost more in the long run to fix their mistakes. We also had fascia and soffit replaced on the front of the building, which had canned lights in it. I was told to purchase the lights and they would install only to find out later that I needed to hire someone else to that because they dont that, which is fine...just another thing that I would have appreciated to know up front rather than being led to believe something else as I had to quickly hire someone to do that step as the project stalled. The soffit and fascia now look great and bring the whole thing together! I just offer this bit of insight so you can ask about what it would cost to get their finish work (wood and any electric) because I got something in between and was left to feel like they did me a great favor. All in all, the windows look great but the communication was not! If you can get the communication sorted out in respect to these things I would say go with them as they are local and a family owned business, which I always appreciate!

What really impressed me while talking with Tom, and then later with Bob was their honest and straightforward approach.The RUSCO installers were professional and polite.
