Brought in a large collection. Dr. Friedman and everyone else there were really nice at first. He started off telling us how he would be looking very carefully at everything. As soon as he decided we did not have much of what he specifically wanted, he just blew through the 400 books in 3 and half hours. It was probably strenuous and could tell it was wearing him out. To be fair that is understandable. He was also kind enough to give us $500 for our expenses. Granted Thats not even close to what we had to spend. It was over $800 for the truck, $150 for the hotel, a few hundred on gas, and a lot for the tolls. With that said it was a disappointing experience. He offered what we felt was a really low ball number. My recommendation would be to call first and ask what specifically he is looking for. If I would have known he had so little interest in stock books (to each his own) I probably would not have come there and dropped all that money. So, check him out, but call first and make sure you have what he wants specifically otherwise you are wasting your time. I would not discourage anyone from at least checking him out bc he may give you an agreeable price. I felt our collection deserved more time and respect just for the effort we had to make to get there and back. Loading, unloading, loading unloading 400 books and 40 boxes of loose stamps in glassine envelopes is a lot of work.

I have sold many stamps to Dr. Bob in the past from my late dads collections. He is extremely nice and has always been fair!!!!

Worst person Ive ever dealt with when it came to selling stamps. Had me drive 5 and 1/2 hours basically for nothing to come out here and for him to try to cherry-pick single stamps out of my collection when he said that he was wanting to buy the whole collection. You scam artist dont trust them.

The Man was very rude and gave me dirty looks the whole time! He Had no Customer service etiquette. They say they give you top dollar but its definitely not true at all.. They ripp you off!!! Avoid this place at all costs!

I called and spoke to someone, who was very rude, unhelpful, and rushed me off the phone. Didnt even let me tell him what I had to sell. I would avoid them unless you have non-modern stamps (which he did not specify what that meant).
