Do not do business with this company. Warning!! Call any other HVAC company. We hired this company after being loyal customers for years to install a humidifier and do a routine seasonal maintenance. The Tech showed up 30 minutes later and initially commented that he didn’t know if the humidifier would fit. We were advised by Leslie Heating and Cooling a few months before (during an AC service) that the Humidifier could easily be installed in a few hours. 9 hours later the Tech informed us that our furnace broke. Randomly after he spent the entire day trying to install the humidifier. After being at our house til 6 and numerous calls on our end for another tech or additional help, no answer the Tech left our house with the heat not working. After asking a few HVAC experts, I was told Humidifiers take a maximum of 3 hours to install. Not 9. And our furnace had no issues before Leslie showed up. We even offered to pay to have the furnace fixed because we need heat. The Tech had no solutions and spent the majority of the day sitting in his van and not even trying to fix the problem. We also called the after hours service and found out the only tech available to help us with the incompetent technician who broke our furnace to start with. After offering to pay him extra to fix whatever he broke, he said I don’t know how to fix it and left us with no heat in a 60 degree house. Beware of this company. They hire incompetent technicians and don’t care about fixing issues they caused.

I had to communicate with Leslie often to figure out how to get to the roof of the building which they then had to communicate with maintenance about. They were incredibly helpful and understanding throughout the whole process. I had Mark come out earlier this week and on top of being knowledgeable and professional he was genuine and tried to help as best he could despite us not being able to access the roof. Emmanuel then came over the weekend and go up to the roof only to find a wasps nest that he had to take care of before eventually fixing my unit and saving me close to a thousand dollars on a new unit.
Excellent customer service. The technicians Bill and Brandon were very friendly. They did a thorough inspection and explained everything and took the time to answer questions. They were very considerate and took care while working in my home. I recommend this company. Scheduling was easy and the woman on the phone was kind and helpful. Update: Sean came out to measure and give me a quote for a new AC. He worked to accommodate my home cooling needs and to get me the most affordable option. Gus and John came out to install a new AC unit. They were both kind and considerate and explained what they were going to do. The whole process was smooth and was completed in under 4 hours. Im happy with the services Ive received from Leslie.

DO NOT USE THEM!! THEIR TECHNICIAN LEFT MY FURNACE BLOWER CAPACITOR DISCONNECTED AFTER A FURNACE CHECKUP! HERE IS THE STORY:Their technician performed a checkup on my furnace and told me that the furnace worked properly. He said there were a couple things (pressure adjustment and blower cleaning) that needed to be done. I told him I will call to schedule for the extra work. The technician put things back BUT WITHOUT CHECKING WHETHER EVERYTHING WERE PUT BACK PROPERLY TO MAKE SURE THAT THE FURNACE WAS IN WORKING CONDITION! Since the weather was warm, my tenant did not turn on the heat until after 10 days later (on Oct 16, 2020 Friday). My tenants were woken up by the coldness that night and they noticed the temperature was 61F even though the thermostat setting was 68F. The next day (Oct 17, 2020), my tenant called me and told me that the furnace was not working. So I called Leslie Heating to explain that their technician worked on my furnace and now it was not working anymore, and told them I need someone to come ASAP. Since it was Saturday, the answering service answered the call, I called twice and on the second time, I told the answering service the technicians name who worked on my furnace. I waited until late afternoon on that day, but no call from Leslie Heating! So I went over to my rental house and checked the furnace myself. WHAT I FOUND WAS THAT THE TECHNICIAN LEFT THE BLOWER CAPACITOR DISCONNECTED! I connected the capacitor back, and the furnace started to work right away. The next morning (Sunday Oct 18, 2020), I received a phone call from a gentleman in Leslie Heatings marketing team to ask me what happened. I explained and told him that I was worried that when the capacitor was left out and the furnace on, there might be long term effect on the furnace blower motor, the gentleman said he would tell their manager. On Monday (Oct 19, 2020), a lady from Leslie Heating called me, and again I explained to her what happened. She apparently does not know what the capacitor does, and kept emphasizing that I needed to have the other work (pressure adjustment and blower cleaning) done, without even addressing my concern. She ended up saying that she would let the manager know. Up to now, I have not received a phone call from the company to apologize to me for what their technician did, and to address my concern.
We used Leslie Heating & Cooling for a commercial repair. They were very responsive and resolved our issue promptly. We highly recommend them.
I returned from vacation this morning to find out that my AC unit is not working and the home temperature was 80°F. I called Leslie heating and cooling service and within a couple of hours they had a technician at my house. Emmanuel did an excellent job quickly diagnosing the problem and repairing my unit. Overall excellent service and very professional staff.

We have had a residential contract for years with Leslie Heat & Cooling. If they are doing semi-annual maintenance they are always on time and thorough. If they need to perform repairs they will check everything, not only the problem. Their service techs are knowledgeable and prices are very competitive.
Emmanuel came over and did an incredible job explaining everything to me, doing a thorough check of my systems and helping fix a part that was under warranty. We needed diagnostics on our furnace which was not functioning and Leslie Htg & Clg was wonderful from start to finish. Their intake personnel were pleasant and helpful, we were scheduled ASAP, they sent reminder emails and text messages about our appointment, and the tech (Marc) called prior to arrival. Marc was great; very professional and educated me on what he was doing and how he troubleshooted our issue. Our furnace is up and running and we will definitely be using Leslie again in the future!
In the past >10 years i used them, but now, since i havent signed up for their promotional plans, when i called with an a/c issue, when we had a string of hot days, requested emergency service, they couldnt get anyone out for 48 hours!!In the past and they installed a/c, furnace that was supposed to be great, but no one mentioned how loud it was and it is in the middle of my home. IM DONE WITH LESLIE. THEIR SERVICE HAS GONE DOWN HILL.

Emmanuel has been great to work with. He came out for an emergency on Super Bowl Sunday to help get my furnace up and running, on what was the coldest day of the year. He is very informative and honest.In addition, he did some follow up work today. Once again, he was very detailed and professional.Leslie Heating & Cooling is not the cheapest for repair, but they are not the most expensive either. Price wise, they fall somewhere in the middle for very good quality work.After everything they have done for me, I will be using them on a go forward basis, especially Emmanuel.
Eric cleaned and serviced the air handler unit. He kept me informed, alerted me about his arrival, and completed the service requested. The unit looks much better and I expect it to run more efficiently.

Emmanuel did a great job reviewing our HVAC system. We hadnt had it checked in a couple of years, and he replaced a few important parts so we have peace of mind when it gets really hot this summer.It was easy to make an appointment and the family plan for $8/month is a great maintenance plan. 2 visits a year, 15% off service, and no dispatch fee. Pretty great.
Called on a Sunday morning and explained my issue to the answering service who had Mark give me a call. He spent 10 min on the phone helping and suggested a fix before he came out if needed. We ended up having him come out and he was able to find and fix the issue in a matter of minutes. We really appreciated that he took the time in the beginning to help before coming out. Would recommend him and Leslie’s services again for sure.
Jose was nice and he took the time to let me ask a few questions and he explained clearly what he was doing. He was nice and professional. He was, however, 30 minutes late and I didnt receive a phone call from either him or from the main office letting me know that he wasnt here yet. As I was told he would be arriving at 8 a.m. I would have appreciated a phone call letting me know that he wasnt going to be on time but again he was very nice and pleasant.

Emmanuel was absolutely AWESOME! Never felt rushed and he was very, very thorough. My residence is now warm throughout. Raised ranches are difficult I understand to get even heat throughout. We are now close to that. Prior his visit we had to use a portable heater if we wanted to use the lower level bedroom/office or family room. Not anymore! Thank you.

Josh was the tech. He took his time to check my furnace and ac thoroughly. He is very knowledgeable and gave some recommendations on what needs to be done to my furnace and ac system. Very trustworthy. Im very satisfied with the exceptional service he provided.Edit: One week later. The tech, Josh, returned to fix my furnace, replace parts and replace an ac part. Saved me from paying alot by checking if my furnace had a warranty which it did! I must say that he is very detail oriented, considering he had to dismantle my furnace and put it back together. My furnace is as good as new! The work done is above average! Its a comfort to have a tech who knows what hes doing! Gives you peace of mind knowing that the job will get done correctly. I loved the knowledge and workmanship of the installer of the whole HVAC system which includes the removal of the old one and replacing new furnace, new AC., humidifier unit and water heater and rerouting and installation of HVAC ducts. Mr. Gus of Leslie heating and cooling came right on time as promised and finished the job on time with best installation and then completed the testing and making sure that everything works as intended. Over the last couple of weeks we have had a series of issues with our AC system. The company that installed our system 8 years ago (not Leslie H&C) came to diagnose the problem, but failed to resolve it. After checking on-line for a local and well-reviewed HVAC service organization, we called Leslie Heating & Cooling and are so glad we did. The personnel that Leslie H&C sent out were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, logical in their diagnostic approach, and had a great work ethic (i.e. took their time to get to the root cause of the problem and fixed it). In particular, Id like to give a shout out to Josh and Emmanuel who spent several hours on diagnosing and fixing our issues. In fact, Emmanuel Ventouris came out last night when our AC went out and worked from 8pm-11:30pm to find & fix an issue that was caused by the poor workmanship of the the company that installed our HVAC system (i.e., improperly secured wiring using metal staples and wrapped wires around edges of the metal ductwork, causing the insulation to wear out and cause a short circuit). This problem may not have been found if not for the experience & diligence that the Leslie H&C team brings when they service their customers. Our AC is now back up and running and were enjoying some COOL comfort ;)
Eric the technician was so good in his job, i don’t think there are any words to describe his professionalism, he is beyond that level. I am happy and totally satisfied with his job done for replacing water boiler.
I had a great experience. The service representative was professional, polite and knowledgeable. He prepared me for sticker shock, but helped me make an informed decision on which path to resolution I would chose. I am happy to say the final cost was very reasonable and better than I had expected. He also signed me up for their maintenance contract which I also thought was reasonable priced. So overall I am very happy with the choice I made.
I used Leslie Heating 20 years ago on my old house in Woodridge, so I called them first for my new house in Elmhurst. That right there should tell you something about the quality. This time it was a full furnace and AC replacement. From my sales advisor Sean, to the installers Jon & Gus, and the two other techs that came out to tweak my system the next day, everything went smoothly and quickly! Leslie Heating is a top notch company I will use again if needed! Five stars!

They were able to get to my house within 24 hours of calling. Once Josh arrived he went straight to work and had identified the likely culprit within 5 minutes. All in all Josh identified the solution repaired and left in under 30minutes, clearly their technicians know what they are doing. There was no attempt at scamming or otherwise being deceitful, I asked to see the replaced part and he happily obliged. Could not be happier with the quality of service received!

I am new to this area and in need of a heating and cooling company to get an error message that was occurring on my thermometer. So I contacted Leslie cause I seen the sticker on my furnace and they came out and did a maintenance check. After an hour or so the technician gave me a system check report with all these things that are wrong with my furnace that’s only seven years old. He said I would be better off getting a new furnace and they will be sending a sales person over to quote me a price. The sales person came over and told me my furnace was too big for my house and I would need a smaller unit and I will be anywhere from $7000-$10,000. I was in shock so I decided to get a second opinion. They found absolutely nothing wrong with my furnace except for needing a little cleaning and since they did the cleaning and lI haven’t had the error message on my thermometer again. I showed the technician the list of everything wrong with the furnace he found absolutely nothing and that was to be true.Please do not trust this company obviously they’re all about the sale and not the person. I would’ve been getting rid of a perfectly good furnace and spending tons thousand dollars on a new one. I normally never write reviews like this but I am in awe. If you’re looking for an honest company I will providing the information along with my invoice to see how much I paid versus buying a new furnace.

My technician Jon W. remembered the initial installation, once again, explained what today’s visit was all about, showed me what it was that he was doing and made sure I had no questions with my new system. Robert arrived on time and put on his shoe coverings, which we appreciated. We had called about a code which had showed on our thermostat. So Robert checked the thermostat out first and then went down to the heating unit in the basement. He answered our questions as he went. He discovered some maintenance needed on a tube. So he flushed that tube out and completed some routine checking of the system per our contract. He was very good at completely explaining what he had to do and what he had done after he completed his tasks. Nice young man!......Robert forgot to do one important step on his check list so Emanuel had to come back and finish the job. So Emanuel came back on the same day ascertained the step that needed to be finished and quickly finished the job in 10-15 minutes. All has been just fine ever since.

This is a horrible company. They use to be good but they have changed. Do not trust what they say. Get a second opinion trust me it will be not what they say.
I had Leslie H & C do a regular check up about 2 years ago. They found that I have to replace parts and do maintenance service for $1140.I decided to get a second opinion since everything was working fine and I was told I dont have to replace anything, all looks good. I thought maybe the 2nd company is not motivated for a small job so I called for a third opinion and I was told the same thing. 2 years have past and I still didnt need to replace those parts. I decided to post this because Now they think its ok to call regularly to offer service... they dont care if you waste your money and they dont care that their phone calls might bother you...
