Stopped in for lunch today, having never been to an Atlanta Bread Company before. I am not a fan of Panera so I was skeptical about this place but I was completely wrong. I had the balsamic bleu salad, the Caprese panini and the bread pudding. The salad was the standout for me. It had lots of crisp green apple slices, crumbles of bleu cheese and chunks of crunchy walnuts. The sandwich was nice with big slices of hot mozzarella and tomato, and the bread pudding (with side of caramel sauce) was incredible. Im told its made from cinnamon bun ingredients and it was truly spectacular, so if you ever see these available be sure to grab some. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean. We observed the friendly staff constantly cleaning and wiping down tables, chairs and counters. We truly enjoyed our lunch today and will definitely be back soon.
Much better! New owner. Clean bathroom. Gluten free bread. Coke machine always works. And of course, delicious food. So glad to see one of my favorite restaurants being taken care of.
I was very disappointed. The dining area was trashed, and the gentleman that brought out the food smelled like cigarettes.
I dont come here enough. The food is wonderful as they have a lot of options including pastries and power bowls that involve all types of fruits eggs avocado you name it. The prices are great and the service is awesome. Very friendly people. If you havent gone or dont go often you need to. Great coffee too.
The food is exceptional and very well made at a cheap price. Be careful about their deserts. They’re so good you have to watch yourself. 10/10 would recommend.
I come here with my son all the time, I had the best experience the other day with a young cashier with red hair. She was very nice and patient with my shy son. She even told me about a deal they have on Tuesdays where kids can eat free- which no one had ever bothered telling us about before. Cookies are great, will be coming back!
Food was great. I loved my soup. My wife said her Cubano was about right, which from her is a huge compliment.
This is a restaurant with a nice selection of baked goods and a very kind staff. The menu is a bit pricey, as they price almost everything the same (about $9 for a breakfast, sandwich, or salad.) Several coffee and tea selections are offered in addition to some fountain drinks and iced tea; drink prices start at around $3. It is well lit and clean, but the center section is always closed off in the evening. This means you have to sit by a window, so the setting sun is always in someones eyes, and the roll-down shades provide very little protection.
Nice change from fast food. Fresh. Tastes like real food. Good staff.
Jasmine checked us out and she was so sweet and helpful! Thank you ABC for helping us grab a quick and yummy bite on our lunch break!!
We ordered from Grubhub tonight and when they showed up they had only been given less than half of our order. Two people went without food. The store closed at 9 and no one else is taking orders that late. The food from here is great but this is now multiple times that we have not received either our entire order or there have been multiple issues. I would think that for quality control they would have some checking each order as it goes out for correctness. They only got a two because the food we did receive was good.
I recently visited a location in Woodstock, GA and I was very displeased with the customer service that we experienced. The young lady that took our order was very dismissive. Had a bad attitude while taking my mother and I order. She had a mean face the whole interaction. She didn’t get my mother’s order correctly. I made it aware to the manager on duty and didn’t receive an apology or took my compliant seriously. The young black lady then proceeded to smirk after I left talking to the manager. As to laugh in my face. This beyond unprofessional and really disgusting that these behavior is tolerated. This isn’t the first time my mother has dealt with this young lady. She always seems to have this attitude when she comes in to eat. I don’t understand if she does this because my mother has an accent when she speaks English but it needs to stop. Today was defiantly beyond any words. Please handle this accordingly.
The food is wonderful and the service is always on point. I love coming here on my lunch break and ordering either the Turkey Bacon Avocado or the Steakhouse Panini! I highly recommend.
The chicken salad on French baguette is awesome!!! Great food, great service!!!Thank you
Just met some friends here, very friendly staff, food was fresh, fast and delicious. Nice music playing softly, great place to meet and chat.
Truly the best bread Ive had. Their French baguettes are just like what I had in Paris. The rye tastes like it came from a NYC deli. Their bagels are phenomenal and their cookies are the size of my kids heads. My picky 12 year old loves the caprese sandwich and my daughter asks for the chicken pesto. They have a freestyle machine with a wide assortm of diet drinks. The restaurant is clean and well managed. Staff is courteous and helpful. Wed eat here every day if we could.
First and only time coming here. Shocked at how bad it was- go to Panera. Came here March 3, ordered a turkey avocado panini with a side caesar salad and a pickle. The girl at the register was not very kind and rushed taking my order. I asked for no tomato, which my panini had. They didn’t give me the pickle, and the “caesar salad” I ordered was unrecognizable. Yellow, butts of the romaine and Ken’s “caesar” dressing. You guys are a sandwich/bread shop and you’re using the same dressing a cafeteria does. What a waste of money.
Took my family to Target Sunday afternoon for a little spring shopping and discovered Atlanta Bread in the same shopping plaza. This restaurant was in the right place, at the right time considering the afternoon shopping led to my entire family having a nice appetite. The restaurant was very clean and the customer service was prompt and very friendly. My wife is a big stickler when it comes to clean restaurants and good customer service. So needless to say she was very impressed and happy while we waited just a couple minutes before our meals arrived to the table. After receiving our meals at the table, we continued to be impress as all of the dishes were very tasty with the perfect temperatures. The Tomato Basil soup was the family favorite. We are all looking forward to our visit to Atlanta Bread!
Food was good but it took them long to serve me and some items were not in the bag.
The foods, desserts & drinks ( hot or cold) are always addictively Yummy!Staff is friendly & very patient & helpful + bring foods to your tables.Excellent social distancing & carryouts!Affordable half or whole sandwich & soup meals + kids menu?I try new items, in my weekly dining, after shopping .And they are always healthy, fresh, delicious foods...!
Food was fresh and fast! The presentation was amazing. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean!
Once again I was very pleased with the food and service at this location! Food is fresh and people are friendly. I will keep coming here!!
Awesome customer service, and a truly great pumpkin cold brew!
I am Georgia !! I done told you I hit all them back roads are fell in some rabbit holes. I have moved 24 or 25 times inside this one State. For a good while I called Woodstock my home and I left a piece of my heart there. I have been in this exact location many a time its always been excellent. I seem to like it a little better than that other Bread spot and the French Onion Soup alone is enough to take it from a 4 to a 5 star. Give it a try and hit me up if Im wrong.
I havent been here since the pandemic started. I was impressed on how clean the place was. And as always, the food was great!
The broccoli cheese soup was good, but left something to be desired. The bread bowl was cold (which it always is) and I have always wished that could be different. It was a delightful lunch and the atmosphere is nice and friendly. I have been many times over the 20 years it has existed and will be back!
Friendly Service. Their chicken salad is good however I would prefer the chicken either be chopped into smaller pieces or shredded. They also ran out of sweet tea while we were there and the two people working didnt know how to make more. They had to try to call their manager to first find where the tea was located to use to make fresh tea and also instructions on how to make it. We had to get drinks from the soda fountain which we really didnt want. Because by the time that they figured everything out and brewed more we had finished our meal. Will be back however will order a different sandwich next time and probably just get a bottled water to drink.
Horrible breakfast. Synthetic food. Unedible.
Second time I come here, there is a blonde girl on the cashier side, she does not care about what she is doing, she does everything too slowly like she does see the big line, the food is fine but her customer service is not it and also she kept answering the phone in the middle of taking orders with customers and some of them she let skip the line! Like what ???? Today is July 19, 2021 at 12:47 pm. Idk her name but hopefully someone will talk to her about this awfull service ...
Just had their strawberry smoothies all natural no artificial flavor.
Food is very good. Sandwiches were at our table fairly fast but the smoothie took longer to get to us.
Tomato basil soup is yummy yummy in my tummy. The grilled cheese is pretty basic and kinda gross. I wanted the panini grilled cheese but I guess I ordered the wrong thing.
Terrible customer service from the lady that was working today in the kitchen (the African american lady with red hair). My husband, my son and I were regular clients at this location. Most of the time we order chicken pesto paninis and apparently the lady that works in the kitchen has an issue with this. The last 2 times that we have stop by as soon as she saw us coming to the register she tells the cashier that they are out of Chicken Pesto paninis. The last two times we ordered something else but not today. As soon as she saw us she made a face and immediately told the cashier they were out of the sandwich we like. I dont find hard to beleive that they might be out of the panini, what I dont understand is her hostile attitude towards us. She even told us bye in a sarcastic way when she saw that we were not going to place an order. We are customers and thanks to the money we spend in this establishment she gets a paycheck. She can careless about our business but Im pretty sure the owner of the restaurant does care about losing his clients. After the horrible customer service we experience today we wont be coming back. I also will be calling the corporation to file a complaint because that type of behavior shouldnt be tolerated.
I love the food, the clean restaurant and friendly staff. This place is never busy, and definitely deserves a visit!
We ordered grubhub from here and their quality and quantity has deteriorated from the last year. Their salad they gave me I ordered full and it is in a small container. For $11.10 I paid for…. Their bagel was not fresh and wasn’t even toasted. Disappointed
Too expensive I think for what u get, roast beef on croissant is small for $10 compared to publix deli using one of the best brands boars head roast beef u get a foot long for same price so seems over valued in comparison but it sure was delicious;)
Zoe was so sweet and made the dining experience enjoyable!
Clean, personnel very friendly and a lot of options for a nice coffee break, lunch or dinner. 100% recommended.
I am in disbelief with the customer service at this location. I pulled in with around half an hour until closing time and the worker rolled her eyes, shook her head, and stormed off behind the counter when she saw us because she was trying to close early. I get someone coming in 5 minutes before closing, but it was half an hour. You shouldn’t be closing early and have a different time stated. I got right back into my car and left to find somewhere else for dinner. I will not give my money to a business that has that type of customer service.. not exactly the nicest way to be greeted.
I really like the atmosphere of this place. Staff was great!!!
Came in at 6:40pm on a Monday to order two basic hot chocolates. I was quickly informed by the cashier that it would be a while because she had to help in the kitchen? After waiting a few minutes the cashier informed me that they were out of chocolate and I would be refunded. The manager handling the refund did not issue any type of apology for my inconvenience and barely took the time to acknowledge me. I get that there a busy times etc however you should always strive for great customer service even when under pressure.
Lovely lunch with great atmosphere. Got soup and sandwich for around the same price at another establishment, yet the food seems so much better!
Food was good, however if you close at 8 then dont have an attitude if you arrive before 8. Even if its only 5 min before you close. If you want to close before 8 then set new hours. They generated a 47 dollar tab in 5 min and was tipped 10. SMH.I hope this feedback assists the owners in knowing how the business is being handled and how paying customers are treated! Will not be back due to employee interaction.Im assuming you have to arrive hours before they close to not get an attitude.
Very friendly. Good fresh food.
Great place for a quick lunch if you dont want the typical fast food.
I am being super generous with 2 stars. The broccoli soup was the only saving grace, it was decent. First off we weren’t even greeted, we were just face to face with an expressionless robot of a girl that had no personality. My boyfriend and me both ordered the same thing sins pickles on his (cubano Panini). We grab our drink and out food is out super fast. Our panini’s were a floppy, kinda soggy piece of microwaved mess, and so hot you couldn’t touch it (microwave hot). Management/owners/corporate was in the corner at the front door, getting ready to leave, so we heard 10 minutes of their useless chatter. Went to the restroom, it was dirty and there was no paper towels... All of which I could look over if the food was good!!! I’ll just go to Panera or Jason’s deli in the future. Closer to home is not always better!
It was the best I have had
Tasty sandwich and friendly service.
Always good food.
The panini was good but was still hungry (I had skipped breakfast). I saw a loaf potato soup roll by and I love me some potato soup. So I went back up and ordered the loaf soup, LOADED of course with cheese and bacon. Cleaned my plate and am craving it again.
Fantastic service and wonderful food. My family and I felt safe eating there during this covid mess. Would highly recommend. A+++
One staff was ride and acted annoyed that we came in a half hour before closing the rest of staff very nice. Food good
Also healthy delicious foods, in great social distancing atmosphere & helpful, friendly staff
Great food and Salads, enjoyed the cookies also !
Had lunch today and it was great. Best potato soup and chicken salad. Hubby had Cuban panini and really enjoyed it. Fantastic and friendly service. Great social distancing inside.
The food is pretty good, not the best I have ever had, but still pretty good. Though the customer service was amazing!
Food was generally good, but this is the 2nd time Ive placed an online order and its not ready for a solid 15 minutes after my selected pick up time. If youre planning for a quick grab and go on your lunch, this is not the place.
We came at 5pm on a Sunday. Store was pretty slow, maybe 2 other tables being used, no one in line. The store did not appear understaffed, definitely enough people to cover the needs. The first table we picked was very wobbly, the next (and last available booth) was dirty, so I set about cleaning that. I went to the restroom after that, there was a cleaning rag on the floor under the sink, the light above the urinal was flickering, and the handle on the door to get out was broken - and it had been broken for a while because there was marks on the door from a long time of it being broken. We get our food, and our sandwiches had been combined. I had the buffalo panini and my wife had the pesto chicken, and the tops/bottoms were reversed so we both had pesto buffalo chicken. After we got that fixed, the food itself was very good. We both got the butternut squash and it was quite yummy. After dinner, we got coffee and cookies. The creamer ended up leaving floaties in the coffee. They replaced the creamer after that.Maybe it was a series of unfortunate events, but it definitely sullied any desire to return. Seems like a lack of help from corporate on things to fix things like the handle, a lack of standards being made to ensure restrooms and eating areas are clean/creamer isnt out too long, and a lack of detail to fix things like the flickering light and wobbly table.
Great, friendly service!!
Enjoyed a late lunch on a Monday afternoon (not many patrons at 3:30 pm); friendly service and good food. I ordered the half & half signature salad & sandwich. The half salad is still quite big.
The manager of this location refused to take coupons that I had online. The owner was called in basically said she didnt sign up for that. The food was good but this location has definitely lost its appeal
Food was hot and delish. Curbside delivery was fast and polite.
Food was good, and Clara treated me very well. She was helpful, and made my first experience there one to remember.
Helpful staff, very friendly.
I love this place. The breakfast bowls are my favorite.
Cute little cafe with a nice, casual atmosphere in Woodstock. The staff were friendly and the dining room was clean. I ordered the Cobb salad with grilled chicken and unsweetened tea. Delicious!
We are a gluten free family and were really excited to find out that Atlanta Bread had gluten free bread. We stopped in this morning at 8 15 am. We ordered egg and cheese sandwiches on gluten free. The sandwich price was 4.29 each normal and 7.29 each for gluten free. 80% upcharge to make a sandwich gluten free?!?!?! That is an insult to a person dealing with allergies. We will not return to an establishment that treats it guests with ridiculous surcharges. We cancelled the order and left with coffee only.
Moved here from FL and was told by multiple people to try the bread bowl here. The broccoli cheese soup was amazing but the sourdough Bread used for the bowl was a little overpowering. Overall still very good.
Wanted To change my mind on an order last month but felt like it would be an inconvenience, the manager Josh came over and asked if he could help us and he took the time to put in a whole new order that was super inconvenient for him and his crew. He was very patient with us in our indecisiveness. And remained very professional through it all. Great management.
My family and I did some last minute school shopping at the Target in Woodstock and later decided to stop by Atlanta Bread Company inside the shopping plaza. I actually caught the lunch rush but the shift was absolutely fantastic and it appeared they have a great system in place to accommodate a lunch rush of that magnitude. They pushed out the long customer line with a smile on their faces and the food still maintained great presentation and taste. I will definitely be back
Good food and nice staff.
Excellent place if your into sandwich style restaurants. The soup in a loaf and pastries are a must try. 4 stars only because it is a bit pricier than other places if your looking for a quick bite to eat.
If yall like bread.. 🍞 Id suggest that you give this place I try theyre famous for it Im sure youll enjoy it Bread has been around for a long time.. this guy specialize in baking it its what they do for a living and they do it very well they know that in order for you to spend your hard-earned money on something that you could go to the grocery store and buy for a lot last it has to be like extra good not just regular bread... just saying
Food is always good and their tomato basil soup is delicious
Ordered a chicken parm sandwich online due to covid. Check my bag and had the wrong sandwich. I go back in and the worker says, we havent sold that in years. I said, you couldnt call me? You just give me a different sandwich? You deserve to go out of business for that. Should have went to Panera.
I love the food and it’s a great place to meet clients. The staff is friendly and they take special care to make sure my order is always right. It’s a sign of great leadership!
My favorite lunch spot!! They have the best Caprese sandwich! Special shout out to the store manager!! She’s always friendly and will go that extra mile to make sure her customers are happy!
Good food, the potato soup was excellent.
Service and food is normally good. However, they are almost always out of a main item. I just waited in line for 15 minutes to be told they were out of the butternut squash soup. Multiple times I have gone and the item we came for is out of stock.Update: They need to train cashiers better. They all say different things when you ask for bread or chips as a side. Sometimes they tell you bread isnt an option and sometimes they say thats what comes with it.& The drink machine was out of every drink we tried to get.We will not be returning.
Would give 5 stars if they didnt remove the potato soup from their menu 🙁. Other than that everything was great. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and fast service
Great soups at very fair prices! Caitlin at register was a doll, allowing me to sample three different soups. We ordered the broccoli cheddar bread bowl (♥️ sourdough), tomato basil w/baguette, the butternut squash soup bowl w/baguette, a large fountain drink, and 3 waters. Grand total, $20+pennies! Perfect mid day, hot fuel break after shopping. Not a Panera fan, but reeeeally enjoyed Atlanta Bread Company off Hwy 92.
The panini was good but was still hungry (I had skipped breakfast). I saw a loaf potato soup roll by and I love me some potato soup. So I went back up and ordered the loaf soup, LOADED of course with cheese and bacon. Cleaned my plate and am craving it again.
Always friendly service. Everything I’ve tried has been tasty and there is always something new and delicious on the menu everything I visit! Great neighborhood eatery for quick and inexpensive food without sacrificing good quality!
Very good meal. Had the Turkey and Bacon. Staff was friendly. Not crazy about the one Freestyle machine in the restaurant. Would not be my restaurant of choice (just not my taste), but it wasnt bad. Clean, well-kept, and warm. Desserts looked delicious...but I refrained....this time. Lol
Food was excellent and staff was friendly!
If you order food it could take up to 20 minutes and it tastes bad, Dont go here.
Worst customer service. This place has no regards for anything. I would suggest you to take your money else where like Panera Bread.
I so enjoy the muffin tops! And the coffee is delicious! Friendly service too! Today I came in for a bagel, egg, cheese and bacaon sandwich and it was delicious along with the dark roast coffee! All excellent! Service was terrific!
There werent a lot of people in there when i went so i didnt have any wait time. I got my food quickly. I got half soup half sandwhich. Its always clean.
Great soups, salads and desserts. Make sure to try the bread pudding. The only negative was that my wife ordered a $9.00 salad with Ranch and when she received her salad, they have her Caesar dressing. When I went back to the front to get her some Ranch dressing we were told that they didnt carry Ranch. We found this strange since we asked the girl when ordering as well as it was printed on the receipt. Needless to say, we wasted $9.00 on the salad as that is the only dressing that she likes.
Very disappointed in the trip. Ordered clam chowder as listed on the board. They brought corn chowder. Ordered a large drink. Got a large drink but no lids. Their ice machine was broken. This is a management problem not a staffing problem. The manager could not figure out how to refund money so my husband had to do simple mental math for his refund.
Love this place. Best soups and sandwiches ever!! I get the butternut squash soup and avocado sandwich a lot and the sweets will blow you away.
