I ordered 4 small filters for a bread machine. The shipping for UPS was going to be $29.00 so I opted for the less expensive USPS first class (around $8.00). When I received the package it was postage due because they sent it printed material. I dont think this is exactly ethical. The merchandise is fine, its the business practice I have a problem with.

I love this place!They are THE place to visit if you bake bread. They offer excellent classes and their staff are extremely friendly and knowledge.They offer the best variety of wheat berries and whole grains to grind at your home. They also have several grain mills and equipment needed for baking.I highly recommend you visit their website.Their prices are fair... about half of ordering from Amazon.

What an amazing place to buy grains and learn how to start milling grain. Staff was so helpful

I have read through these wonderful reviews and think to myself no one has occurred a problem yet if someone had I am certain the ratings would not be at a 4.9..The prices are not the most affordable. It is expensive if you want live grain. I purchased a large organic bucket of grain. I also purchased the lid that is supposedly better than the standard one that is given with a bucket. I also purchase a smaller bucket of white wheat bread.I always made sure that my Lids were on correct and tight after usage. About three months passed and I had not use my grain. I decided to make bread and opened up my organic bucket where I found several worms in the grain. I contacted breadbeckers were I was told to reach out through email and send pictures. Not only did I send pictures, I even sent video of worms crawling all over the grain.A week went by and I heard from no-one. I reached out a couple more times as I was told they were going to put my email to the top of the list. Finally someone did reach out to me through email. In the email they assumed that my lid was not closed all the way ( not sure how they came up with that as no one came to my home to see) then proceeded to tell me that I can just wash out the Grain and wash out the worms. And that there is no refund that was applicable for this email.I was given no other options. Not even to exchange my grain. I am not only disgusted with the way that I was treated after making a purchase of organic bucket. Ive come to the conclusion that this company is nothing but a money maker. They put their product sky-high their into making a big profit, and have little remorse for anyone who has a complication. I will no longer be making any purchases from this company. I have also referred several friends to them as well which I will make sure all of my friends know not to bother. I would rather by chemically filled bread in the store then to give this company any more of my money.

If you are into baking and cooking this place is a must to stop by. Every wanted to mill your own grain for flour? They have everything you need to get started including classes on how to do it all. So many neat things that one comment cant handle. If you cook and bake, this place has many of your dry good; beans, whole grains, lentils and such in large quantities. They also have a full section of Bobs Red Mill for you non gluten bakers. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Definitely five stars and nothing in the area quite like it!

Im new to grain milling. Bread Beckers staff have been wonderful helping me get started. They are very knowledgeable and take their time to make sure your questions are answered.The wheat berries are great as well as the other products. We have been very satisfied with the breads we have made.Highly recommend!

We have found again lots of wonderful tools for nice cooking and baking in our kitchen. Some new, some replenishing previous purchases that needed replaced.

Inspirational to baking using fresh milled grains. The balsamic vinegar selection is top notch. The anjou pear is good, the fig is ambrosia! Staff is incredible and knowledgeable.

The Bread Beckers been a place I have gone to since God lead me there in 2002 seeking a healthier way to eat.

Super helpful, they go above and beyond expected service for their customers. They also give classes for all of us that didnt pay attention to how great grandma did things. Go see them and get educated on how to eat healthier.

BEYOND Customer Service! Weve been buying grain from Bread Beckers for about 4 years now (milling with a used mill). My mill wouldnt turn on one day, and I took it up to them to see if they could fix it. As soon as I walked into the door, Brad immediately took the mill from my hands and set to work on seeing what the issue was (no charge!?). He believed the issue was a bad motor, so I signed a form for them to replace it for around $125.The issue ended up being a bad cord, and he replaced it FOR FREE. No charge. Not even for the time he took to work on it. Ill be honest I was in shock. This type of customer service just doesnt exist today. I didnt even purchase my mill from them, but its obvious they value their customers and want to continue great business practices. Kudos to BREAD BECKERS!We will continue to sing your praises to our friends and family. :)

These folks are really the only game in town for what they do. Of course the food stuffs are good, but the appliances are all top shelf. If they sell it, you can count on it being a high quality item. From bread pans, to blenders, to Mills and pressure cookes, they only carry the best.

My husband and I attended the Jams & Jellies class today. Sue did a fantastic job teaching! Of course, we bought a lot of things after the class was over and the employees were all very kind and knowledgeable. I am really looking forward to taking many more classes here.

Although this is listed as an appliance store, it is not. The do sell some small appliances for bread making and for prep, but what theyre really know for is their selection of whole grains and other whole foods. The owners still work in the store and they are super knowledgeable and helpful. I learned a whole lot about Extra Virgin Olive Oil and unprocessed Mine Salt. Truly fascinating.

I purchased grain and other items through the co-op and have dealt with the company directly for several other things. When I had a question, I received an email, immediately, and then a follow up call from them within 24 hours. EXCELLENT customer service in my case.

Prices are very high but some items like whole grain wheat are simply unavailable any other way. Its an occasional stop.

We went to a baking class and enjoyed ourselves so much that were planning our next trip. The staff is wonderful and very helpful.

I came here for a class on Doterra essential oils and it was amazing!! I also did some shopping while I was here and got some delicious local honey. I also learned about some cooking and bread making courses. Great place and will definately be back!
