My favorites are the teas, ceramic, jewelry, dried lavender, and fresh flowers! I’ve only had their breakfast sandwiches, but their menu looks great!

Local Roots has improved their services greatly since I had been there about 7 years ago. They have a wonderful selection of coffee which I bought 3 bags. It was so great! I also bought some Amish half-n-half which was all natural!(no artificial ingredients, non-GMO, and came from grass fed cows.The store has expanded to having a coffee shop, and they serve food items such as sandwiches. The staff was friendly and professional. There are a plethora of items available for the needs of everyone.If you are from Wooster or out of town, come visit this store! Im sure you wont be disappointed. Good vibes and good food!

I stop here whenever I’m in the area. It is such a treat for a California-grown vegetarian to find so many wonderful options of healthy food, many produced locally here in Ohio. There are so many options for different dietary preferences. I often pick up pierogis, snacks, cereal, tea, spices and other specialty products. Staff is always kind and friendly, following health ordinances which make me feel safe. The lunch options are wonderful, and I always find another new product I want to try! And it’s so cool that they are a coop, if I lived closer I would definitely join.

We were visiting from out of state and grabbed some things to have in our rental for the week. Everything was amazing. What a unique and delicious selection! This place is especially great for those of us with diet restrictions like gluten intolerance, vegan, or anyone conscious of organic eating. Everyone who helped us was lovely too. It’s very clean and organized as well.

If you are looking for local food, whether meat, dairy, produce, baked goods, gluten free, vegetarian, or anything in between, Local Roots has it. I love grocery shopping here and am always tempted by the fresh baked goods especially. Not limited to food though, there are always really nice handmade soaps and all kinds of arts and crafts. They also have a cafe which is great for a healthy lunch option. Its basically a high quality indoor farmers market if you are still unsure what its all about!

Wow, what a turnaround. This place is way more dynamic compared to when we last visited four years ago. Loved the electric car show, and I found and purchased compostable plastic bags. Planning to go back this week for lunch. Nice to see it thriving!

Local shopping at its finest. Wooster is super lucky to have this amazing resource in its downtown. They sell a lot of local produce and meats but also local honey, syrups, baked goods, and crafts. Additionally local chefs come and use their kitchen for a day and serve up a fantastic lunch.

I buy all my produce here - can find good quality mushrooms (shiitake, oyster, lions mane +) leafy greens, root vegetables (onions, carrots, sweet potatoes +) and apples year round! More variety like local berries during season.

Stopped by to restock on Wootown bagels. Been buying them through Countryside Conservancy Farmers Market in Akron. Ran out and needed more. Ended up purchasing a few more items. I always prefer local and small produced items. Get shop with a great selection of food, drinks, baked goods, and artisan works.

This is such a cozy place to get a cup of coffee and a treat, best bagels you can get and artist booths are great. there are some really nice out of season vegetable vendors. i find myself in here more than any other place in town.

Really great selection of local veggies and food. There is also great offerings for locally made products. The place has a wonderful vibe with nice seating in case you wanna have lunch inside.

Our family loves Local Roots! There are some things we get every time we stop in, like WooTown Bagels and Ol Dirty Sheets hot sauce, and then we always find something new to try. They have so many local products and delicious food, theres truly something for everyone.

If you want to see what Wayne County and the surrounding area has to offer, this is a fun place the check out: coffees, syrups, honey, baked goods, fresh cheese, milk, baked goods, and veggies... Not to mention all of the artisan works available... 5heres plenty to see, smell, and taste. The food is delicious and I had the pleasure of enjoying an Indian meal. Each day they rotate chefs, so theres a unique option each week. Artwork abounds and I love seeing the works of others hands.... Definitely worth a visit. Yes, a bit pricey for me.... However, still fun and I love shopping local.

Local Roots is a great Coop for fresh garden items and good food perogies and other items. there are also soaps and lotion from a local goat farm.

Magnificent find! I was offered an ice pack and brown paper bag to insulate the fresh frozen pierogies I wanted to surprise my husband. Five and a half hours in the trunk on the 89 degree day, they were still frozen solid! So accommodating and truly offering on the very best! Thank you!

The store is small, but offers a lot of amazing things if you take the time to really look. Their food is great and the deserts are really good. They have a play place for smaller kids so you can shop in peace. I am here weekly.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this shop/cafe! They had a wide variety of locally produced fruits, vegetables, jams, jellies, baked goods and more. There was, also, a beautiful selection of hand-crafted items, including pottery, greeting cards, reusable cloth bags... We decided to split a sandwich and soup for lunch, and the staff was so accomodating and friendly. The butternut squash soup was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The cheese and veggie sandwich was out of this world! Well definitely be going back there often!

They have a level 2 and a level 1 charger around the back of the building with reserved parking for EVs and PHEVs. Whats even better is that all of their electricity is wind sourced!
