If you are looking for parts, give them a call. They may have what you want at a fraction of the cost of something new I just found something for $40 that I was quoted 765 for the same part through the dealer. They are quick and do installations as well Id highly recommend them.

My friends and I have come here multiple times to get parts for our cars: all early 00s Japanese makes. This place has such a large selection theyll almost certainly have what you need. The staff is very accommodating and let me return a door when I pulled the wrong one! Prices are good and they have some tools in a bin if you forget yours. Easily my favorite yard around.

I had called them asking for parts .the guy said yes he has the parts. He told me to come between 4:00 or 4:30 pm. When I went there asking for the parts he said i dont have the part yet, i lied to you. come tomorrow if you want the part I ask myself if I should come back again he is going to lie to me again. So i ended up not say anything just walked out....

Every time I have gone to standard they are always polite and extremely helpful! I have had some pretty stressful situations with cars and they always put my mind at ease. I got a transmission from them a few years ago for my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Ran amazingly strong! Would recommend them to anyone who needs quality junkyard parts!! Standard Auto has been my #1 junk yard for a long time. Great prices, organized yard, very, very polite workers. Highly recommend over Sams up the street.

The yard is very unorganized, I was looking for a yukon or Tahoe parts, not many gmcs in yard but lots of chevys, the trucks were literally scattered all over the yard so I used a lot of my time just walking up and down isles checking one truck here and another over there and another 2 isles over mixed in with fords and Mitsubishis, and the prices were way over priced, 116 dollars for 2 used fender flares that were banged up and 2 used front shocks for a Tahoe, 30 dollars a piece for the flares and 25 each for shocks, for a few bucks more i could have just ordered them online, i have a tahoe and a yukon, I usually go to Henrys in Blackstone and have bought the same parts there and have got a more reasonable price and their yard is very organized so your not just walking around aimlessly looking and also have wheel barrel you can use to carry your stuff, standards does not, sad part is I think they are owned by the same company, I could be wrong, the extra drive to Blackstone is worth every minute to avoid standards

This place would have a 5 star rating but the gentleman on the phone all three times my girlfriend has called has been rude with comments like “o I might have the part” “o my guys will have to dig their way through the snow to get it” “I might be caught up by the time you come down I might not be” that’s not the type of comments someone answering the phone should be saying to someone calling before they drive 80 miles to come get a part she trust this place says she’s been here before and it’s the only place she will go to get parts because she’s been there before and knows how good of a job they do. I just think the man on the phone could have a better attitude towards potential customers especially if they are repeat customers who tell people they know they should go to this place for parts. My girlfriend is originally from Worcester recently moved out of state but driving all the way there, she shouldn’t feel bad about going to get a part because the man on the phone says comments like the ones above.

Call ahead to inquire about specific parts, Ive come to this business for years, since I was a teenager, when I need a used auto part. Throughout the years, they have had nearly everything Ive ever needed. If they dont have it, theyll give you recommendations as to where you could find said part. Theyre very friendly, but also very busy, so if they dont sound so friendly on the phone, its because they super busy with a line of mechanics waiting to pick up parts. There is an area specifically designated to tires, sales, repairs, balancing and mounting. Ive had cars with special tires (which usually are very difficult to locate used) and they usually have at least one. If they dont, Sams or Linders, right up the road will.

Mike Gleason is one of the best. I have been loyal to this place for the past year and Mike has been very helpful and has been pleasant every time. Just dont go in there being disrespectful and you wont be disrespected.Thank you Mike for helping me out when I was a couple of dollars short. You were kind enough to work the price so I can get the part I needed and not letting me waste time to run back and forth. I had no problems here, the guy who gave me the cash for my car was cool but i could definitely see how someone could have a bad experience here. Employees talk recklessly and the place isnt the most well maintained in the office area but its a junk yard so you cant really expect it be anything spectacular nor is it suppose to be

Honest good prices

Went there today after Sams didnt have one, wont ever go back again. Kid behind the counter was helpful but guy behind the right counter (owner?) Extremely rude!! Kept making comments under his breath ... for no apparent reason ( I wasnt being rude, just trying to buy a part) Sams gets $25 for a power mirror, $15 non powered, You take it off (3 nuts). They wanted $75 taken off, $50 if you take off for a non powered mirror... I said really that much? and I explained both Sams and On Ebay I can get a New powered mirror for under $50. I wanted to do business just lower the price a little and I would of done it, maybe $35 Ill take it off, But thats when this happened:Guy behind the right side talks and says Then you should buy one on there then!! Really how rude is that? Im not lying and why would you even say that?? I said WOW, shook my head and said thanks for the helpful business, as I laughed out loud, I just couldnt believe how rude that was!! Then I said Im sorry but you just lost a customer, I will never come back here again, that was horribly rude!!

Went in on Thursday and ordered and paid for my part and picked it up Friday at lunch time. Very courteous and you get the feeling like they are not trying to play you. Also had a couple used cars out front that between the prices and mileage, I wish I wasnt in the process of moving because instead of picking up a part I would have been picking a new car. Great place thou.....

I have know Standard Auto for over 25 years and have found them honest and always willing to help you to find car parts. I have a 40 year old car and still can find parts for it. Sonny was always organizing the cars so that they were easy to find. Also they do their best to protect the environment by collecting oil and antifreeze before crushing those cars that have been picked over. They also have many engines stored inside and are willing to go on the special site for wrecking yards and find the exact part that you are looking for. It is a large property and there are many cars there as on can see on the map.I used to go there just to walk around and see the cars that were in various states of repair. So come there and have a day out in an interesting place. Never know what you will find. I still have the misspellers dictionary that I found in a car and have made many copies for my Korean students. Also still have the Swiss Army knife found under the seat of a VW!

I bought a car from these people for 4300 cash and they promised me everything mechanical is under warranty for a year. I had a problem with my transmission and they supposedly put in a new one with much laziness and rudeness. Its only been about three weeks and my transmission is having problems again. I dont even think they put in a new one. They are a fraud. Im in the process of filing court documents. This is unfair. I wouldnt do business with these folks.

NEVER BRING YOUR CAR TOO THIS PLACE!! I had a flat tire and was driving on a donut, I’m a college student and was looking for somewhere cheap to find a tire + rim. I brought my car here and paid for a rim and tire...however, when I pulled my car off of the lot I knew something was wrong with my car. The wheel instantly started shaking the entire time I was driving which it had not done prior to getting the tire + rim from standard auto. I returned the following day to see if they could take a look and see if there was something wrong, only to be screamed at by the “owner” and be told that they did nothing wrong and their employees are fully capable of doing their job...I think not!! I brought my car to a new mechanic, come to find out the internal construction of the tire was completely shifted and there was a belt missing inside of the tire. This is a safety issue and could’ve been much worse had I not found the issue sooner!!

Quick and easy to get what i needed

Called other junk yards price of wheel was $$$ much more.When I called Standard they referred me to tires. Rick was very helpful and courteous. We texted back and forth to make sure we had the right part at 4:55p.m. I called I was ten minutes away they agreed to wait and my wheel was only $65.00! Excellent service.

I stopped by for my first experience at Standard looking for a spare tire for my VW and was very happy that I did. It was like clockwork from start to finish. A man behind the counter directed me to the tire department as soon as I entered the door. They put together a really nice tire spun balanced and ready to go in less than a half hour. There is a nice atmosphere to the place and a comfortable waiting area with tv. Highly Recommended.

It was fine untill the young guy started cursing about doing his job.

I thought I was going to pay $200 for new wiper linkage but my main man Mikey at standard used auto parts took care of me he really hook me up. Now I know this truly is a one-stop-shop!

I found them to be okay, but what bugged me is that the gas tank that I purchased still had all the fuel in it (at least two thirds full) and on top of that I called them to check if the part was available and they said it was, so I took my car went the 40 minute drive only to be told it had to be taken off the car, which would take about 4 days, naturally I was annoyed, I returned 4 days late in my sedan, it turns out the tank was a lot bigger than I had originally thought, but I was determined to get it in, the guys there laughed at me and added a sarcastic Good luck! I found that unnecessary, I was mostly upset about the gas though, that was ridiculous.

Almost always have what i need, decent prices, and i dont have to pull it myself. No complaints. Dont listen to these losers who think every business should bend over and spread for their patronage.

Asked for a center seat for a Lincoln town car and I was laughed and they said that such a thing doesnt exist although I explained that there is several in Sams Pull-Apart across the street, I just didnt want to deal with pulling one myself. a few days later the Alternator blew in my 2008 crown victoria police interceptor, they said that I needed to come in to pay for the part before they would pull it. when I came in they said they had the correct part (after stating that it was a police interceptor). a few hours later they called and said they had the part ready for pickup, unfortunately they pulled the wrong part that wasnt even out of the same car. I requested my money back and after giving my a hard time for not stating it was a police interceptor (I talked to 3 different people and said the exact model) they refunded my money.There prices are fair but I cant recommend them to anyone because they treated me like I didnt know anything about the car I was fixing and insisted that a 130 amp alternator is a suitable replacement to a 200 amp with a completely different plug on it.

AWESOME! This yard did not have a good reputation in the past but wow have they turned things around. Everyone is really polite and really helpful especially if you can pull the part yourself they will try their best to give you a REALLY REALLY good deal. Last time one of the guys at the counter even offered me a ride so I wouldnt have to carry all my stuff back in.DONT go to sams up the hill.. everytime Ive been there they are really disrespectful and even the people at the counter dont know their own prices.

My Jetta was a bit of a challenge at first, but they found great tires and pretty good wheels for winter handling on my Jetta, and installed all 4...at a very reasonable price!

Went to have a set of tires put on as soon as i got there and he found out I had 18 inch rims (that most trucks have)he walked around the Bay talking to himself saying i wont do that over and over. Then he told me to pull my truck into the Bay looked at the tires i had and said i cant put those on theres not enough tread but there were marks on the tires werent even touched yet needless to say i bought tires there with alot less treads in the past. He just wasted a hour of my time because he wasnt gonna do them even if they were brand new. This would have never of happened if Sonny was still there. Its just a shame they hire lazy under qualified employees this will be my last time there and i was a regular in the past.

Poor customer service - even for a junkyard. I was unable to get a sentence in before being transferred. After waiting on hold, I was transferred to an impatient guy in the tire department who cut me off repeatedly as I tried to explain what I needed. I hung up disgusted. I dont expect great customer service on the phone from a salvage yard, but these guys are ridiculous. They are the only outfit in New England that has the part I need, but I still will not give them the business.

First of all your name is not Linda Smith- its Serhane Kajitazi and you got a great deal on the-2009 VW Jetta with a bumper to bumper warranty -but you must make an ATTEMPT TO RESPONSIBLY MAINTAIN***We replaced the transmission once already-but after the second snow storm ..no way-We as a company can only take so much abuse. There isnt a dealership around who would of done what we did .It is not a Sherman Tank.Oh and Jim called you today, your wheel is in.Our guys work six days a week and they are not lazy!Even after all this, we will still take your car in trade for another one!
