Had a lovely encounter with Quality! Husband got a referral from Rands, and we were pleasantly surprised. Speedy, professional, easy to work with. Took our car there at 5pm day before the appointment, got a call the next morning about the cars needs and gave the okay; service completed that day, took payment over the phone (hundreds less than we were quoted elsewhere) and came to pick it up after hours. Highly recommend!!

I had an excellent first experience with Quality Muffler. Dropping off my vehicle the night before was easy. They got it done very quickly the next day. The repair cost was more than reasonable. The person who greeted me when I came in to pick it up was warm and friendly. A very positive overall experience.

You might have to wait a little longer to get an appointment but they were fast and efficient solving loud exhaust issues

The work was phenomenal! I brought in my Cadillac CTS with an oversized borla muffler. They welded up the system perfectly with stainless piping. It sounds unreal and the price was several hundreds less than other local shops. Very happy with the quality.

Came to them with a problem after getting my breaks done the front desk guy was INSULTED that I would assume they didnt do what they had to do, my car didnt have problems until I went here. I have a year warranty and that went to waste because theyre refusing to help. Horrible business & customer service save your time and money!!

I was looking at $1,600 at Meinikie for a whole new exhaust. $1,300 at my regular garage. Was told the whole thing had to be replaced because it was all welded together.Quality Muffler uses a blow torch. Told me I just needed some new pipes. Did the job for $250. Muffler was fine. Resonator was fine. Catalytic converter was fine. Even if I did need the whole system, they use their own parts. Wouldnt have cost me anywhere near 1,300.

These folks do great professional work, and they do it quickly and at a bargain! I dropped my car off wednesday night, and by thursday at noon they had my problem sorted. my mufflers good as new, and my little subaru doesn’t sound like a F1 racer anymore!

First time client of The Kurt and Matt At Quality Muffler/Auto magicians. They took great care of exhaust pipe rot, catalitic converter replacement and several check engine codes on my daughters 2013 Outlander. My daughter tried at least a half dozen other shops in Maine ( @at $200 minimum total diagnostic and attempted fixes ) they had not been able to fix. It was a total mystery of unimaginable difficulty. Many repair shops complained it was not a popular car so parts are not available. I found this true. A Maine dealer gave her a $2500 minimum and $5000 maximum/probable cost for her repairs. Quality Muffler squeezed the car in on one of their usual super busy days. Matt had the repairs done and out the door in less that 1 hour. Best part was they did a great job with customer service and mechanical ability that fixed the many issues, with a great American style can do attitude. Another Best part was the cost of parts, labor, and taxes was less than $350. I am responsible for 6 vehicles in my family and will now take them here first. Thank you Matt and Kurt for your successful efforts. I give them a 6 out of 5 star rating.

If your looking for a great mechanic Matt & Kurt are your guys, they are the cheapest around their great hardworking, honest, very kind. So I have a Pontiac G6 2006!! I got a few years ago long story I got into a car accident they totaled the car but I bought it back from my insurance, because one of my hubby’s friend said he could fix it without it costing us so much money well that wasn’t true because he ended up charging us six grand to fix it but when I picked my car up I had to get a jumpstart because my car wouldn’t start there were so many things wrong with my car still, so then I took it to Quality Mufflers and when I say they fixed my car they fixed my car the other mechanic Mickey Mouse so many things so long story short it ended up costing us a little over $10,000 to get my car fixed completely but now it drives like it’s a brand new car!!! A Big Thank You 🙏 Too Quality Mufflers for bringing my car back to life. I won’t take my car to any other mechanic unless Quality Muffler can’t fix it themselves but in that case I always go to wherever they refer me to.. I promise you won’t be disappointed..

These guys specialize in quick turn-around work, brakes and exhaust. They charge a fair price and work quickly to solve the issue. Call in and they get you in quickly, but be sure that if you have no ability to drop the car off that you let them know ahead of time that you would like to sit and wait.I had the flex pipe fixed on my Saab 9-3 last year and as a business owner myself I know not everything can always go according to plan. Well some similar issues returned and I brought the car back because I am a believer in second chances. They listened to my suggestions for why the issues may have returned and quickly fixed the flex pipe to get my car up and running and ready to pass inspection. These guys are top notch and will make it right all while remaining polite and professional. That is what keeps customers coming back time and again and I would highly recommend them.

Recently took my car for inspection and failed for exhaust leak. After multiple quotes for nearly $800, Quality Muffler was suggested to me by one of the places I went to. After reading reviews I figured Id give them a try and boy did they not disappoint. I called and they were very understanding and set up an appointment for me for the next day. Dropped my car off and they called a few hours later with quote for a quarter of the cost I was originally quoted for elsewhere. Took my car to get reinspected and passed after work was completed. Very knowledgable, polite staff and high quality work done quickly. I highly recommend. Thank you to the staff at Quality Muffler for an exceptional experience. I will be back for future business.

These guys are great! Honest, affordable and technically excellent. Highly recommended.My father-in-laws 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 had no power after I replaced the plugs and coils, so I figured it was a plugged catalytic converter or exhaust blockage. However, Matt and his team did a proper diagnosis and determined that it was actually the computer/ECU. They installed one and it fixed all the problems, and didnt need the catalytic converter.They also found a couple of other problems and fixed them affordably.Thanks again!

Fast and fair prices

We were referred here in order to save money, and boy did we ever... We paid about 10% of what we otherwise wouldve paid. They even reconnected something that the other place forgot to reconnect, and couldve claimed to have fixed it. Instead, they were honest, and reconnected it for free.We had an issue with an aftermarket part they used, and while it was a hassle to bring the car back so they could replace it with an OEM part, they were very apologetic and fixed it at no additional cost.Overall, we were very pleased at how they took care of us, and it reminded me of how auto repair shops used to run decades ago; just honest and fixing the problem.

This place is terrible, they suggest repairs you don’t ask for, then they don’t even repair those items, beware, then they just make excuses, once again this place is not worth the headaches, not to mention the poor customer service from Matt.... UPDATE...., the vehicle was brought to the shop twice to fix their errors, I will be bringing it to another repair shop to fix the issues that have not been resolved to date, I wish Matt would have resolved this but unfortunately erasing an error engine code with an obd scanner only to have it return is not an acceptable solution, also thank you for doing the work we paid for, once we discovered you did not do it on the first trip, glad you were honest about the multiple errors you caused, thank you for having a personal interest in my health but I would rather you focus on being a mechanic. Thank you for continuing to insult your customers as you did on the phone and in person.

They installed 2 mufflers for me about a year ago and a piece of the exhaust they replaced is already rotted out. Both mufflers are currently dangling by hangers. Not sure how that can happen in under a year.

I cannot recommend the shop enough, great service from Kurt and Matt. These guys know what you are doing and I doubt you guys will find someone better for what they charge, and 2 mufflers taken off replaced with pipe and a polished custom tip put on. This was all done for 200$ in an hour. Similar places quoted me at triple with the car being dropped off for the entire day!!!Will defenately be returning for future work other cars and recommending them To anyone in the area! Dont waste your time with other shops

I would highly recommend this place. I Had my exhaust replaced for great Price. Not only my exhaust but also the starter to car. All at great prices. And never had to come back because later on it was damage. I have recommend a few people to this place and they have never went back to their old mechanics after coming to Quality muffler.

Matt was very helpful and got me right in to fix even though we had a misunderstanding on drop off or appt. Google Maps definately gets you lost at end of trip. But I found it and happy I did.

I bought a 1997 Honda Accord, as an extra car, to be used by my kids. It needed some minor mechanical work to make it street legal. I handled all of the repairs myself, to save a few bucks, except for the exhaust work. I had been quoted from $350-$450 for the work from other places. A friend at work told me about Quality and the work they had done for a mutual friend and a family member. I called and received an estimate/quote over the phone of $135. I made the appointment, they thoroughly checked it over and called me back with a final installed price $145 + tax! Absolutely the nicest guys on the phone and in person PLUS they stuck to their estimate w/out sticking it to me! Imagine, these people actually WANT your business. I could not be happier. How long will it last? Who knows? But for about 1/3 the cost other places, I can have it done again and again.

Our 2001 Nissan Maxima started to sound loud like a muffler needed changing, plus the rear tail pipe and exhaust was hitting the frame and making a lot of noise. I had no idea where to bring our car but based on google reviews, I selected Quality Muffler and Brake. It certainly wasnt the closest repair shop to where we live. I had an 8:30 appointment. Several people came in the shop and everyone seemed to be on a first name basis. The mechanic showed me where one of the exhaust pipes was broken and needed repair along with a broken bracket. By 9:00 I was on my way with a quiet car and the total bill was under $90. Go to a dealer and they want an hour labor right up front before they diagnose. Now that I know about quality Muffler, this is where I will take my vehicles for service. Talking to some customers I found out they have been going to this shop for years and wouldnt consider going anywhere else. I also found out they do a lot of other repairs. They just dont do oil changes, but if your car is not running right, give them a call first. Professional and fair, and honest.

This shop is amazing and extremely reasonably priced. I am always pleased to receive a call once the car has been diagnosed. They will tell you everything that is needed and quote prices, then will go on to explain what you may be able to hold off on, or what needs to be done asap. Almost always my car would be done the same day. I love this shop, I have sent all my friends and family members cars here for about 14 years. I know live in FL now and still will be stopping in to get my car checked out and brakes when I visit family for the holidays. I couldnt imagine anyone being dissatisfied using this shop. I had my exhaust system looked at when I was getting an oil change at Monro because my car was really loud. They told me it was a couple parts but they would have to replace the catalytic converter too and quoted me $1200. My dad recommended Quality Muffler so I made an appointment. They were very nice and had it done by the end of the day. It sounded so much better and was only $175 including labor.
