The sweets were delicious and the lady working there was very excited and welcoming. The second time we came here wasn’t as good as the first and the knafa was a little overcooked but I’d definitely give this place a try

Amazing food and customer service. My time in Chicago was very short, but I spent most of my time at this spot and I couldnt get enough of it! Im going to have to plan another trip just to get some more! 10/10 would recommend.

This place definitely gets five stars for the service alone. The lady at the front is very sweet and makes sure that everyone is satisfied with their meal. I love getting the McDash ice cream covered with pistachios. As someone with a peanut allergy, its alwayd hard to find a dessert place that I can feel comfortable with, but Ive never had an incident here. Super great place to grab some ice cream or a dessert and just relax for a while with friends.

The best Arabic ice cream in Chicago

Went here for the Arabic pistashio ice cream, ended up ordering two types of Knafeh and taking some to go as well. The knafeh was fresh and the ice cream was on point.They have a good selection of baklava as well. Will be coming again.

Best Bakhlava & Icecream

I am from out of town and was recommended to come to this place by friends. It’s awesome! Great Arabic sweets. The kunafa and their special pistachio ice cream was amazing. Would definitely come again and recommend for anyone to come here. Thank you to the staff as well for being so kind and generous.

Excellent ice-cream with pistachios. Very authentic. Kenafeh is excellent. I have to try every item on their menu. Kenafeh with ice cream is VERY delicious.

Stopped in randomly on a rainy evening. Immediately, I was greeted with a smile and welcomed to McDash. We ordered the pistachio ice cream, but the staff suggested to add the best kenafa to our order. It’s a house specialty, hot Kenafa with pistachio ice cream a la mode. It did not disappoint with a burst of flavors that complemented each other, you can taste the freshness in every bit. I will be returning to this hidden gem instead of driving pass.

Awesome place for a Sunday ice cream. Reminded me of Parisian street cafe atmosphere. Cozy, relaxing, lovely music in a back round. My better half and I had the most delicious ice cream❤ thank you.

Fake. Fraudulent use of the damascene franchise Bacdash name similarity. This is not authentic arabic ice cream. Owner was rude and disrespectful. No one wearing masks while we are in the middle of COVID19 spread in the community!! Stay far away...

Specializing in Syrian- and Turkish-style maraş dondurma (mastic ice cream) and kunafa, we were thrilled by the quality of the offerings and the graciousness of the owner in guiding us with samples of many items. Highly recommended for all; neophytes will find a welcoming environment and offerings that are distinctive yet approachable. Dondurma coupled with warm kunafa is thrillingly decadent, yet somehow doesnt deliver a remorseful pang of overindulgence (we did split a single order).Donald Trump would love nothing more than to see every arterial thoroughfare in America choking on KFC and other banal varieties of corporate atherosclerosis. But under this selfish, bigoted vision, diverse gifts to our communities such as McDash would never be allowed to flourish. I want to thank the owners of this business, and countless others like them, for their faith in Chicago, eagerness to invest in our community, and the incredible innovations they bring with them.If Worth is too far out of your way, the owner informs me that a rolled version of their dondurma (similar to an ice-cream cake log) can be found in the freezer aisle of six Petes Market locations across the metro area.
