I think I had high expectations based on the high ratings of this place and was decently disappointed when visiting. I got a steak skillet, which was quite bland and dry compared to most places. My husband got the biscuits and gravy which were a great price (only $5!) and much better tasting. My husband thought they were a bit bland as well but the biscuits were amazingly soft and springy. Im sure I will be back since the prices are hard to beat but it is by no means my favorite breakfast restaurant. Also, a few employees (including the owner) were not wearing masks during the mask mandate by the county, which matters a lot to me but I know does not matter to everyone.
This place is a gem. They have AMAZING breakfast sandwiches. Their bacon is so good. The skillets are delicious. Pancakes are fluffy and hit the spot every time. The waitresses are hilarious, love to have a good time, and hassle you in a funny way (maybe a little serious sometimes too). Lol. We come here pretty regularly and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend for a great breakfast and some entertainment 😂

This is my favorite after church restaurant to go to. They have thee best chocolate milk that is so thick and creamy. And the best oat meal i have ever had the consistency is something not even i can duplicate.
I absolutely LOVE the Snack Shop!!! They have terrific breakfast and lunch food. My absolute fave is Chocolate chip pancakes and their cinnamon rolls (Im just a giant kid once a week for brunch!) My entire family also loves the food here and the service is wonderful, the people here are so warm and friendly as can be- we are regulars and they know our orders by heart and stop to chat every visit and are so kind.I absolutely recommend the Snack Shop- just be prepared to park around back (yes you can come in the back door) and bring cash or an ATM card bc they only accept cash but do have an ATM in the dinner. PS, they pass the savings onto the customer so youll get a full belly for a very reasonable price!

I can honestly say they have the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had, besides homemade, since moving from Louisiana 8 years ago. Most of their employees are very friendly and idk about anyone else but I was happy and relieved when they reopened after COVID hit last year knowing so many local businesses was forced to shutdown. I see no plans in the near future to stop going there almost every week. If they started serving grilled buttered biscuits, and played Jo-El sonnier on speaker it’ll be almost like the restaurant I used to go to in my hometown. Keep up the awesome job you’re doing!
Disappointed with the chopped steak with breakfast. Just steamed, not cooked enough,browned. I think cook forgot to finish job.

THIS IS A WOMAN OWNED BUSINESS! She definitely knows how to run a restaurant. First off it’s CASH ONLY. Just so you know up front to bring that green stuff, ask your bank for some of it, lol ha ha 😆 lol!This is a very homey place, you feel comfy in the peaceful setting. It is designed like it’s the 1930’s and it was left that way. I get a kick out of the fact that none of the coffee mugs match, they are a collection of old cups from everywhere.The food is always great, always cooked correctly. This is one place I have never had to send the food back. I never even came close.The staff is great all the time. The owner is always there as well. She is an extremely nice person! I have been going here since she bought it. I think maybe 15 years ago, no maybe more.I do have favorite foods I order. 1. The crispy French Toast, I get it with blueberries. WOW! 2. Denver Omelette, great. 3. Biscuits and gravy 4. The coffee. 5. The specials on the windows are good and a really great deal. She has many sandwiches and salads that are good as well as soups.I’m not sure what time it opens but it closes at 2pm.This is a place I would recommend going out of your way to eat at, definitely!It’s on 111th Street in the middle of a small strip mall, next to the travel agency. There’s some parking in front on 111th, then more in the back of the building. There is a back entrance as well. Stop by sit back and have a nice meal in an interesting setting. Enjoy!

My family has been going to this little hole in the wall dinner for years. My grandfather used to bring my father and my father brings us on sundays. Extremely friendly staff and owners! Prices are very good. This place is a cash only restaurant. Definitely recommended.
Always delicious. Always quick. Always excellent service with a smile. Always inexpensive. If we come in without our kids, they ask how they are doing by name. If they do come with, the ladies know exactly what my little ones get. The waitresses even came out in support of me opening my own business! Wonderful family of servers. ❤

Worth Restaurant is a warm and friendly spot. It is a spot for a great breakfast or lunch. The food is incredible and priced nicely. The staff greets everyone and like the TV show Cheers probably knows your name. I recommend you try the Midwestern skillet or the chicken salad.

Yesterday was our first time we visited this magnificent restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the good service, with the fine dishes and wine and with the comfortable cost. We will no doubt go back there in a short time.

Yes, theres sometimes a wait - especially on weekend mornings - but the food is worth it. I love how none of the coffee mugs - and very little of the silverware - match. Its part of the charm. Go and enjoy - you will not be disappointed.

My husband kept passing this place and wanted to try it out so one morning he said lets go out to breakfast. The staff was friendly and great service. The people here were friendly too. It was like having breakfast with all my family. The food was great too but sometimes atmosphere can make or break you. This place is great.

After seeing their prices, I thought we had found a new breakfast spot. Unfortunately, the prices were the only positive thing about the Worth Snack Shop.Atmosphere: Casual diner atmosphere. It was cold outside, and it was cold inside as well. Many diners had their coats and hats on throughout their meal.Coffee: It was horrible. I couldnt even drink half of my cup. They have the grounds sitting out at room temperature, and my coffee tasted like the grounds had been out for weeks. If you like a lot of cream/sugar in your coffee, it might mask the horrible taste, but I drink mine black.Food: My French toast was cold, as was my wifes cheese omelette. The French toast batter didnt have much flavor; it only added texture.The cheese omelette had no cheese cheese in about half of it.Price: The food was inexpensive, but here, you get what you pay for.Will we be back? Nope.

Very good food and very affordable. The hostesses are so nice and like long lost aunts😁 There are regular customers and it is such a slice of American life. They are cash only but there is an ATM. The atmosphere is very casual and you feel like youre family. You should try it out.

Cozy place for a late breakfast or early lunch. Service was prompt and very friendly making a line visitor welcome. Food was warm, fresh, and delishes to eat. Seem to have good regular clientele. Coffee was hot and always looking to refill. Talked briefly with the owner and,came,away wanting to return another day. Downside was they close at 300pm and are a cash only establishment. No debit or credit cards used for us plastic carrying people. Id rate a 4 so there is always room for an improvement.

Excellent service very friendly its a great part of our neighborhood even the to go food is perfect all the specials are good very reasonably priced the meat lovers Skillet is both my me and my wifes favorite we do ask for hash browns instead of the diced potatoes either way its excellent the food is fresh its really hard to find the small great diners anymore they seem to be disappearing from existence. In my families and Friends opinions this is one of the great old fashioned diners you just cant find any more absolutely love this place you may have to wait a bit for a seat at, its well worth it. You will definitely not regret it and find yourself coming back for more.
