Im not overly impressed with the Safelite work done on my 2018 Maxima. On Saturday 9/4, I had my windshield replaced by Safelite Worthington for a crack. At first inspection, I noticed air pockets in the gel used to house the front camera (pictures below). But aside from this, three days after the work was complete, a piece of windshield trim from the A pillar of the car came off while driving on the interstate. While my local Safelite dealer is willing to replace the now missing trim strip (and its counterpart on the passenger side), I still cannot drive my car while I wait for the pieces to be replaced (the wind noise at speed is terrible, and I have concerns about water intrusion via the clip holes in the car body). My local Nissan dealer has the parts in stock currently, but were told that Safelite must purchase through their supplier, which could take up to a week for delivery. In the end, Safelite is replacing the parts, but the work done on the actual glass was sloppy, and not being able to fully use my car while we wait for a correction left me with a less than great impression.

Great service and awesome employees!! It was a last minute walk-in, less than 30 mins before theyre off for the day.. Took great care of me and my car! They treated me as a special VIP even though all I needed was patching my cracked windshield! Well I felt special and I highly recommended their excellent and professional services 👍 👏

I dont write many reviews, but Id like for everyone to know that Joe S. (manager in Worthington) and his team did an excellent job repairing my windshield for my Jeep Wrangler. Joe could not have been more accommodating, professional, kind, and reassuring that he would fix my problem. Its obvious that customer service is a priority at Safelite and I recommend them to everyone I know.

Still waiting on OEM glass for my 2021 Ram, likely not their fault but I cant exactly give a positive rating when I havent received any service other than having to jump through hoops to even set up the replacement.Will update rating once service is completed.Update: Took exactly 4 weeks for my glass to come in. Install service was conveniently done at my residence and the installer was polite and efficient. Everything is in place and have had no leaks now a few months down the road.Unfortunately it appears that the installer may have broken a tab or something on the cover behind my rear view mirror because it is loose. I did not have a comparison from before and did not check it immediately following install (who would have thought that was necessary 🙄)Not something Im interested in trying to follow up with in terms of them admitting fault and scheduling a repair but frustrating to now have on a truck with just over 5K miles on it.

Had my windshield replaced. Upon pickup, I inspected as a friend had the same vehicle repaired at this location and the vehicle was not reassembled correctly. I found that the left windshield trim was loose, the cowl was loose, and the caps were missing off on the wiper arms. The staff seemed to be annoyed with me brining up the issues but still pulled the vehicle in to fix it. After they had “fixed” it and doubled checked their work, they sent us on our way. About 10 minutes down the road it started raining very hard. We turned on the wipers and found that the wipers were loose and would not function at all. We were on the interstate and driving blind. Luckily we got the vehicle stopped off to the side of the road. After the rain stopped we drove to the nearest Honda dealer for repairs and called our insurance to cover the damages by Safelite. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE TOUCH YOUR CAR.

Quick. They got my truck in the same day I called. But.... They did not get all the glass out of the back seat. I dont think they vacuumed at all. I had cleaned up most of the glass before I took it in. The carpeting was freyed behind the seat from replacing the back window.

There was damage caused to the front pillar while replacing my windshield. I called Safelite to report the damage. They sent a tech out who verified the damage was caused during the windshield installation and said he was ordering the part and that they would be in touch to schedule replacement of damaged part. I have since made two calls without a response. I should not have to go through this effort to get something repaired that was damaged by the Safelite installer.

I will update this again after this weekend with a more detailed review and comments, but currently management is trying to correct their issues with my servicing and I wish to be fair and allow them the chance to redeem themselves and increase my rating stars. FUTURE UPDATE TO COME.Ok, so as promised, I am updating my review. I wish to personally thank Mr. Savage (Manager) for following through with his word as promised. They got me back into the shop within a week, they replaced my windshield as promised (the first time the part was not in and they had not called to notify me prior to my arrival) and they covered my deductible for my troubles with the first appointment. I wish to give another shout out of appreciation to Justin (the technician) who did an efficient job on my replacement and for taking the time to replace my windshield. Thank you to all the workers at safelite for making my second visit to your establishment a better one. Much appreciated.

They did an awful job on my windshield repair. I had a small chip on windshield and they made it even worse. They made three new cracks around the chip. Very disappointed !

My experience was great! The technician that did the job was very knowledgeable and took care as to not damage my vehicle. I appreciated the entire time I spent there. I had a new windshield installed and put in the beamless wiper blades because a brand new peice of glass should have new blades from the beginning! Its been a month and I still dont have a new windshield. Ive been told due to covid shortages. I have called three times and each time was advised that the part is on backorder. I was also told that someone would call or email me the next day, didnt receive either. So far Im not too impressed.

Their customer service could have been better for what their brand claims to be and for what they charge. Their quote is the highest than any local auto glass service business around.

Great place. Fast, nice, and great waiting area with tables, chairs, children’s toys, coffee & snacks. There is also a big window into the work area so you can see them working. They even let my old dog hang out with me and eat Cheetos.

Absolutely horrible!!! After they came to my house they had the wrong window set up appt which we were told would take 15min, ended up being 2and a half hours and come out the arm is off the window it wont shut and no one knew anything but had no problem taking my money and setting yet another appointment to try to fix it!!! Absolute waste of time and money, and still not fixed. Lets hope they can get it the third time. NO STARS!!!! Had to out 1 star to post!!!

Shockingly poor quality of workmanship!!! The photos (I have many many more) tell the story to some extent, but do not tell the entire story. If I could give Zero stars, I would. Hang on...First, note that this review involved the replacement of a flush mount motorhome windshield at the cost of $3,400.This is the short version. Safelite took multiple days to replace the windshield when they said it would be one. No problem with that. Better to be done right than rushed.I could see significant flaws in the workmanship from 60 feet away when I arrive to picket up. I met with the tech who did the work. He said he would try to fix it. I spoke with a management person to make them aware and asked them to look at it and review the situation. They took 3 hours to do their repairs resulting in the job reflected in the picture. The tech said the caulk was hard to work with, this was the best he could and there was nothing else that could be done.I completed an online Safelight Survey. I left my full name and contact information in the survery. Got a message that they wanted to call me, but never did.Wow....still shocked at the incredibly poor quality of workmanship and service.I just received a reply from Safelite saying a was welcome to schedule a follow-up service call. After having my motorhome there over 2 days, spending 3 hour onsite, talking with management and talking multiple times with the tech who had every chance to correct the horrible workmanship while the motor and I were insight.....you want me to go back online and schedule another robot appointment. I left my full name and number on the Safelite survey and left my name and number with the manager....what a mess

Very fast and polite. The desk workers were very pleasant and my technician was very sweet when calling to tell me my car was finished. Had dropped it off and expected it to be an all day affair but it was finished within 2.5 hours. Hopefully do not need to replace a windshield again but if I do I will most definitely continue with service at this location. Thanks y’all. ☺️

Jason, the service tech, is highly knowledgeable & provided excellent information regarding next steps for what needed done & also what to look for when chipping occurs in the future. I am highly satisfied & will specifically ask for him in the future! Do the same! If you want your service done right, I recommend calling them. It’s easy to schedule online. My son, who is a mechanical engineer, calls them immediately anytime he gets a chip, so they meet him in the driveway as soon as he gets home. He won’t trust his sporty red Vette to anyone else.

I would have given five stars for the friendly customer service, however I’m confused due to the bleach smell that was in the vehicle when they finished, it got so strong my eyes started burning so I pulled over to find out where it was coming from. I discovered that I use a product called lonopure it’s a car sanitizer a mixture of water and chlorine . Somehow they spilled the bottle in the vehicle and replaced it with water so I wouldn’t be able to figure out that the bottle was spilled in the vehicle. If they would have just told me I would have cleaned the area and purchased a new bottle. What if I was spraying to sanitize and the whole time I’m spraying water not sanitizing at all. Sometimes just being honest is good service. I’m still taking chemotherapy from fighting cancer sanitizing is very important for me, it could mean life or death. It’s a good thing I figured it out.

AMAZING STAFF!I have never had any damage to my windows before so I didnt know what to expect. This location set the standard VERY high for me!When you walk in you are immediately given a warm welcome by the lovely woman at the front desk.As far as service goes, they were so quick and efficient! The small chip/ crack in my front windshield is not even noticeable anymore. The gentleman working came up to me and explained what they were going to do and what I should expect- he was very thorough without me asking. It’s a good team here. They were able to fit me in, within 24 hours of my call. This really put my mind at ease, considering I was literally watching a crack (from over the weekend, apparently) grow across my windshield as I drove down the highway.I was even on the road under the estimated time window. Obviously, it sucks when you have to replace a windshield, but a good customer service experience will typically take some of the sting out of it.

Able to make same-day appointment; they found my insurance, and it covered the filling of the pit. My technician updated me twice on how things were going and gave me an estimate. If Id wanted coffee or snacks, the lobby offered it free of charge. Pit now filled and Im ready for freeze/thaw winter cycle.

Safe lite auto glass has been a help in a blessing in conjunction with my insurance company. I just had a new windshield installed in my car because the one that was 4 years old had a crack and so pitted I couldnt see out of it. They charge may for new when show I birds which I made it and I installed and they want horribly expensive. But the windshield is very nice they do a good job they guarantee their work

Had to have my windshield replaced. The first time the glass was so rippled it made me sick to look through as I drove. They have me no trouble about replacing that one but was still frustrating to have to redo. Everyone was polite and professional.

I called Safelite for a windshield replacement. They told me it was covered under a dealership defect warranty for my model car and I should call and see if I could get it covered for free at the dealership. I didn’t know about this warranty; they could have charged me for a new windshield! That is good and honest customer service! I will go back to them next time I need something!

Cracked windshield on Saturday. Scheduled a Monday appointment online. Received text confirmation and reminders. Walked in at 8am to an almost empty lobby. Staff was very friendly and offered complimentary coffee, cold drinks and snacks. Soon there were about 10 customers in the lobby, but there was so much seating that I had a table for 4 to myself. The waiting area was clean, comfortable and incredibly quiet. The technician came out and kept me told me how the install went, and explained the warranty. They even took the time to replace the adhesive on the magnetic mount I had secured to the cracked windshield. They also cleaned all the glass in the vehicle. The job was completed while I waited, in under 90 minutes. The replacement windshield is far nicer than the one installed by the factory. It provides more visibility at the bottom and sides, and doesnt have distortions the original had in the curved areas of glass. On top of all that, they actually came in with a lower price than I was quoted online and on the authorization when I arrived. Safelite actually made replacing a $400+ windshield alot less painful.

Thus is the kind of place you really dont want to go to, but if you have to, they make it as painless as possible. Very friendly staff who explained everything they were going to do. The work was done quickly and very well. I just have to mention, they have outstanding coffee.

Stopped in today to see if my windshield was repairable. 45 mins later I was out the door and you would never know there was a chip in my windshield. TBH I havent been this impressed by service in quite some time!! Would recommend this location all the time.

Ecstatic with the customer service by Safelite. We were traveling (500 miles from home) in Columbus when our car was burglarized, with a rear car door window broken. After calling a very helpful support person on the 24 hour hotline, confirming local part availability, we did a walk-in and a super helpful customer service person got us set up with an immediate appointment. Within 2 hours, we were on our way with the window replaced. AWESOME JOB GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Website was easy to navigate but I’m giving 2 stars because they quoted me $309.99 plus tax for windshield replacement. I called 3 shops and this was the highest quote of all by nearly $100. I even entered I’d come to there shop and it was that high if they would come to me it would be much more. Explore options Or you will pay a premium just for the safelight name. These prices should be better if smaller shops can offer better pricing then a problem exists.

Went in to get two chips taken care of. Technicians told me that they were repaired previously years ago and said they didn’t feel good about fixing it again. They they did a complementary cosmetic fix to make them nice again and sent me on my way. Great customer service.

I was just in on Wednesday. The front desk lady was extremely friendly and helpful. Staff was nice. Unfortunately I found a cost effective place to replace the windshield. But would recommend solely based on the front desk lady.

Great if you have a damaged window and know you need it repaired or replaced, but unable to talk to a person really sucks when you have a question!

They fixed the crack on our car. Not only did they make the crack worse but never advised us that the fix did not take and we were driving around with a worse crack not just cosmetically but structurally as well. When we tole them we were not advised and they actually made our car worse, they coulr care less. Definitely finding another place for our needs and dont recommend this place to anyone.

The staff and environment were pleasant. However, when my vehicle was returned, there was still glass from the broken window on the floor. Maybe they were in a rush, but it only would have taken a couple more minutes to vacuum it up, and would have earned a five star review.

The weather had changed and was calling for snow so I thought I would have to wait to get the job done. Instead of changing the appointment date, Ian came to my job, picked up my van, took it to the closest shop, replaced the windshield, and returned my van to me. I didnt miss work or family time and it was so smooth and easy. Thank you Ian and Safelite!

Good work but the original appt was rescheduled at the last minute because their employee didnt show up for work.

Quick and easy. The back window in my SUV was replaced and it looks great. The tech was friendly and quick. Only negative is the bottom of lift gate is full of broken glass pieces and it rattles when driving or opening and closing. Also, glass pieces in driveway (not just a few). He offered to sweep them if I had a broom (no brooms on truck when working with glass pieces ?? )

When I got in my truck to take it home, noticed my rearview mirror was all smudged with some kind of grime, and glue bits were all over my dash. Would like to have had the mess cleaned up better. Overall, pleased with the work performed.

Windshield ended up worse than we brought it in as. No information on why; we just ended up driving away in a car who’s windshield was NOT structurally sound. Brought it back, confirmed it wasn’t structurally sound and just got the “it needs to be replaced now” and will cost between $700 - $1000.Thanks a bunch! Taking my business elsewhere.

The job was completed in less than 90 minutes. The only negative thing was one 1/2 long piece and some crumbs from the old seal were on the dash when I picked up the car. This is a very minor issue and Im a very satisfied customer.

Had a bad experience. They fixed my chipped windshield but it started to crack in the same spot within 2 days. I ended up replacing the windshield and had to pay for it. There is no warranty for the fix which is sad.Above all, worst front desk person. The lady was rude and doesnt know the job well. She was struggling with the computer and ruined my day.
