I have a watch that probably just needs replaced, really. But, being stubborn about getting the most life possible out of my watch, I replaced my own battery. Well, I couldnt get the back of the watch back on even after asking 2 people I know for help! I called Denig and sheepishly asked them if they could help me. They said theyd see what they could do. I went in the next day and they treated me like a valued customer theyd known for years AND they were able to get my watch back back on again at no charge! I will go here for any jewelry needs in the future. Customer service is top notch here!

I took three of my mechanical watches in with various defects for service. Was told an estimate would take about 3 weeks. I checked in after a month without hearing from them and was told theyll call back. I figured worst case scenario is theyd have to replace the movement in my watch entirely. Instead I was informed the next day that they couldnt find the parts. Hard to believe because 2 of the 3 watches ran on the ultra common NH36 and NH38 movement by Seiko, and a quick Google search shows multiple websites where you can buy the movement for around $40. So either theyre incapable or worse just didnt want my business. Shame because as an avid watch collector with many different pieces, I wanted to support a small local business and make it the place where I go for watch services. Ill stress they were very polite and pleasant so I suggest stopping in for minor services like battery changes or bracelet sizing for watches and not much else.

These guys are top notch. Walked in to have my battery replaced in an older Movado wrist watch. Fixed it in under 10 mins and were the nicest guys. Saved me about 100$ from other big box jewelry stores. Give these guys a shot for your jewelry or watch needs. I for one will not go anywhere else from now on.

This review is slightly late, we got a beautiful diamond for an engagement ring .... 5 years ago. 😳We searched many many other stores including Tiffany’s, in Ohio and two other states. My wife was looking for a custom stone and setting, so it was unique to her and would also be an heirloom that could be passed down to our at that time nonexistent children.The staff exceeded all of our expectations and found the ‘diamond in the rough’ at another dealer/wholesaler. They got the diamond in and had us fully look over the diamond and detailed every aspect of it with us. Then gave us time to think about it with no pressure on purchasing. They somehow found the exact diamond meeting or exceeding all (and I mean all) my wife’s requirements. We were both blown away. My wife still loves looking at it and showing it off (which was my goal).Thanks so much!

I originally visited this jeweler when I was just trying to find a place close to my house that could fix my watch band. I went in and they said they would take a look at it, and 5 minutes later returned it to me, wound, with the time and date reset (kinetic watch). Imagine my surprise when I asked them what I owed for it and they told me nothing, saying that the cost wasnt that great to them and hopefully I would come back some time. Well, little did they know I was preparing to start shopping for an engagement ring in the coming month. I came back a month later to start looking at engagement rings, visiting them as 1 of 5 stores I was shopping through. When I didnt like the first diamond that was selected, he had the next one for me to see just a few days later. They were so prompt, in fact, that the jewelry store I had been buying all my jewelry from for years didnt get back to me with their first one until I had already decided on the one from Denig. Also, to address the price and quality, with the diamond I did end up buying from Denig, I first sent the certificate to one of the other jewelers who was a family friend hoping to get a similar diamond at a lower price with the friend discount. The friend only replied with thanking me for the opportunity to earn my business and recommended I buy from his competitor!! That was about a year ago now and the only reason I decided to write this is because I was looking up their store hours so my fiancee and I can go look at wedding bands there later today. Were still shopping at more than one place but Im sure like last time the others will only provide further evidence as to why I end up buying from Denig. Thanks again to the Denig Family!

I have had only two experiences with Denig Jewelers, and both have been exemplary. In March of 2014, I had bought a new watch, and they were able to size the bracelet in a matter of minutes for a very low cost. A year later, a pin in the bracelet of that same watch, original to the watch, sheared, and they replaced the pin free of charge in under 5 minutes. While these are both small encounters, there is a palpable sense of caring for the customer that will continue to pay dividends for many years.

I did not buy my engagement ring or wedding band from them, but they soldered my rings together and I absolutely loved the outcome! The price was so great compared to what Jared wanted to charge and they replaced a diamond free of charge! The staff was so friendly and they were able to do exactly what I wanted when Jared would not do it. Wish I would have heard about them sooner so we could have purchased our rings there! I will definitely be coming back for my future purchases and all my jewelry needs!

Had another great experience with Denig Jewelers! I brought a few pieces of jewelry in to be repaired. I had broken a necklace that had many chains, and it was missing a few pieces. Scott worked hard to figure it out, like a puzzle, and he was able to deliver. My parents went here when they lived in Worthington in the early 80s, and I have followed suit. We have nothing but the highest recommendation for Denig Jewelers in Worthington! We first visited Denig last year when looking for someone in the area to fix my grandmothers engagement ring; this was after Kay botched the fix for the third time. (Denig fixed this same ring about 8 months later at no cost, even though it was my fault the prong broke again - It is too old to wear regularly, oops!) In July of last year, my fiance visited Denig on his own in search of my engagement ring! Cindy, who had assisted us with my grandmothers ring, sat with my fiance for a couple hours, explaining different metals, colors, clarity, stone sizes, and more. Cindy has known us both by name since early September, when we brought my engagement ring in to be re-sized.My fiance had to move out of town last month for a new job, but two weeks ago came back so we could visit Denig to look at wedding bands. My fiance, of course, found what he wanted very quickly, but I was not sure. A sample band was ordered in and I was able to try it on three business days later. Today, I called to mention I wanted to look at other bands, because I still wasnt sure which one I wanted. Cindy sat with me again today, discussing metals and looks of the bands. I decided again to consider which one I really wanted. Around 4 pm today, I received an email from Cindy with a picture and description of a different band. She also stated that she was going to do a little more research into a few more bands.I am finally moving to our new place next week, but we will be making the trip back to Denig to order our wedding bands in a few months. In the future, Denig will absolutely be the first place (and only!) we visit when considering any type of jewelry. Cindy is always wonderful, gives her honest opinion, and seems genuinely interested in what is going on in our lives. I am so happy with my gorgeous, Scott Kay engagement ring, and we cannot wait to get our bands!

Always stop at Denigs to get the battery replaced in my watch. Took a little longer than usual so they said it was on the house. Customer service is always excellent and the people are always pleasant.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! I bought a new Tissot from Amazon and it was a little too large for my wrist so I went to Denig to see how much it would be to have it resized. I also scuffed the bezel of the watch the very first day I received it and was very upset to say the least. I asked the gentleman how much it would be to have a link removed and he asked to see the watch. He looked at the back and said its on the house. He returned from the back a few minutes later with the watch and it fit perfectly! Great but I still had this ugly scratch to worry about and believe me I was worried. I showed it to him and he told me hed see what he could do. He went back to his work area and returned once again a few minutes later. I looked at it and no evidence of scuff marks whatsoever! The watch looked brand new again. I was thrilled. I asked him how much I owed them and he told me not to worry about it. I went there expecting to pay upwards of $100 for resizing and refinishing. I couldnt believe it. I will say that I did go there with an expensive watch and they are an authorized dealer of the brand so I cant say for sure weather or not that had any impact on the service being free of charge but please dont go there with the expectation that you wont have to pay for their services. What I can say is that this is a great little jewelry store with outstanding customer relations and an extremely friendly staff! Would highly recommend to anyone no matter what your budget. I believe they got an A on Angies List too. They will be my first choice for anything Jewelry related!

My boyfriend and I were on a hunt for the perfect diamond to set in an engagement ring. We looked all over Columbus and had 3 highly reviewed jewelers looking for loose stones for us. We just couldnt find the right diamond. We walked into Denig, saying to ourselves that if they couldnt find anything there, we would have to go to Cincinnati to look around.At first, we were a little nervous when they mentioned that their diamond supplier was a company from NY that sold diamonds online(NY Diamond Traders). We decided to go ahead and have Pam ask and see if they had anything we would be interested in. She called a few days later to inform us that she had a diamond coming and couldnt wait for us to see the stone. Still apprehensive about the whole online supplier process, we went back to see the diamond, which was in a setting at the time. It was THE ONE! I could hardly believe that Denig and the NY company had gotten it right on the first try! I was beginning to think that I would have to lower my expectations to find a diamond that was just OK, but they found what we had been searching for.Then came the best part. Denig said that they would be happy to remove the stone from the setting before we purchased it, so I could take a closer look. They also showed me how to look at the diamond under magnification and match the inclusions with what was on the GIA certification. They were so patient and helpful! Not to mention, the price was UNBEATABLE compared to other jewelers.They were also able to send my boyfriends payment information to NY Diamond Traders while we waited in the store for a few minutes. They sent the confirmation back to Denig and we took the diamond home with us that same visit!I was very pleased with the level of service and the overall friendliness and patience of the staff at Denig. I would also hope that this review might help others feel more comfortable buying from an online trader, especially one who lets you see and examine the loose stone in person before making the purchase! Everyone was professional and we will surely go back to Denig in the future!

Excellent place to buy an engagement ring. I recommend them to everyone I speak to about rings.I worked with Pam and Mike for the majority of the process and never once did I feel any sort of high pressure, used car salesman gimmicks. I went numerous other jewelry stops in Columbus and definitely felt some buy now type pressure from other places.Pam did initial sizings when my fiancee and I were just browsing a while ago. When the ring went on the proper finger it was just a little too big. Denig provided a piece to the ring to temporarily fit the ring for a few weeks and then returned the ring to Tacori for re-sizing. We received it back in about 10 days. No problems with this process.Denig does not provide diamonds for rings in the actual store, but they do refer you to NY Diamond Traders. I looked at a lot of diamonds both in store and online and found NYDT to be favorably priced when compared to some of the stores in Columbus. It took a little bit of a leap of faith on my part to speak to Alon from NYDT and trust his judgment on a diamond over the phone, but it worked out very well in the end. NYDT ships the diamond directly to Denig and is held in their vault and under their insurance. I loved the diamond he sent over and was very satisfied with the process. The diamond was then sent to Tacori to be made and came back about 5 weeks later. Denig took care of all of this.
