Gary is always willing to help and quick to help me fix any issues I have. The location is large enough to supply a wide variety of products but small enough that it feels like a locql store as opposed to a giant chain store.

A cool local hardware store. So convenient. Close by. Plenty of parking. But the staff lets customers wander around lost. You have to ask for help. I was in the screws and bolts aisle forever. The floor associate didn’t even offer to help me or ask if I needed help. Pretty aggravating.

They tend to have or carry some items that the bigger competitors dont.

The very spacious restroom lies in the very secluded rear of the building. Ample space to stretch out and really dig in for a long occupancy if need be. Not the cleanest yet far from filthy. The walls could use some care as there were numerous water streaks however the porcelain fixtures looked tended to. My favorite part of the experience was the choice in hand soap. A foamy and woodsy scented brand with high lathering capabilities. Only one star deduction for a lack of touch less hand cleaning system.

Pricey BUT its totally worth it for the knowledge and convenience of being able to run in and grab what you need. Folks are helpful and know where their stuff is.

İ,ve been shopping at this worthington location for a long long while and they know the fact that i am not always able to wear the mask due to the fact that I have an extreme case of asthma and a heart condition. When i went to the store today, i was encountered with one their employees acting like a mask police being a extremely impolite and condescending . Well, to make the story short, this is one place i,ll never put a foot inever again..Thank you for responding to my concern, and i totally understand and respect the situation you are in.Again it wasnt a issue of whether i am not wearing a mask or anything else.İt is not what the employee said, it is how he said it.İt is a matter of treating people with respect and kindness. This is essential skill in being a customer service professional..

Really nice place with great service. I had been looking everywhere for some specific lighting for the holidays and they had exactly what I needed. I was even able to make a return for an item I bought on Ace Hardwares website. Easy to find with ample parking, which can be rare in the old Worthington area they are located. Almost didnt go myself because I thought parking would be a nightmare, so very glad I took a chance and went.

I needed a cross-cut bristle broom. Could not wait for Amazon. Found a nice one with a clip-on dust pan. $14 as I vaguely recall. Works like a charm. It gets me to work on time and also keeps my floor clean. Ha ha.

Got a BG86 Stihl and it works great! Customer service here is great. They were busy but had enough people on deck to get me out in no time at all. Nearby, so convenient. Has a lot of items but pricier than the box stores. Again I dont want to discourage anyone. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean. Theyll special order for you and its local! Also they offer free, fresh popcorn as well as coffee. They also offer equipment rental on a variety of tools and machinery. Ive rented from them many times and was always and easy, and smooth experience.

Hit a storm drain and bent the mower blade badly. I called multiple places to halve just the blade replaced and was told it would be weeks. I called Ace Hardware, And was told no problem. Eric took care of me. Took the time to explain new blade options. Will definitely be back.Wonderful place, Customer focused, professional.

I came in looking for screws. Having no clue on what to do. A shop person volunteered to help me. He spent several minutes looking for something that might work. The screws were a total of 35 cents. Hard to find but service was good

The manager Shelly took care of me. She was very nice and found what I needed. Up front at the register shelly helped me with some wiper blades and her associate let me use his tape measure to measure the length of each wiper on my vehicle. I was very happy to get the services there. Thank you

This was absolutely the worst Ace Hardware I have ever been in in my life. I was in plain view of 3 employees who were on the clock Watching me try to find the correct replacement bar in chain for my chainsaw. This went on for at least 15 minutes Without so much as a single offer to help but still plenty talking between themselves. Just think bar $40 chain $25 can of gas $10 bar oil $15 pair of gloves $20 and thats a cheap trip to the store for me at about 100 dollars. They just let walk out the door and I will not go back. I am used to an Ace where they greet you as you walk in and ask what you need help finding. Pathetic and shameful display Ive been a fan of Ace since I was a kid, now Im in my 30s and theyve lost me for life.

Extremely helpful employees and have always had what I needed. Small store feel for this big box store. I didnt know they had tool rental but they certainly do and dont really advertise it so everything is usually in stock for rent!

I concur with the other positive reviews here. Everytime Im in the store the employees greet and ask me if I need any help. They even radio each other to say a customer is coming to plumbing for example. And I cant recall going there and they not having what I need. I like this store.

I needed a extra key for my garage lock... It is an old lock with an unusual key. I had been to 3 other hardware/key places and they all said they couldnt help me. Your employee looked and found something close, and said he wasnt sure it would work, but wanted to try it rather than give up!!! Well, it worked! He saved me having to call a locksmith and having a whole new lock put in!!! Thank you for going the extra step and helping me out!!!

No backpack in the store policy is rather annoying. They dont trust me to walk through the store with my backpack, but they expect me to trust them to watch my property. Not to mention, it would be much easier to shoplift with a purse or a diaper bag, but they only target backpacks.

I went in and told the two employees standing and chatting at the register that I needed help finding something simple that I needed. They told me to go to the aisle and someone would be right over. As I waited, I actually cleaned the aisle a little because some things were out of place, and when I realized that at least 15 minutes later no one had come, I went to the register where there were now three employees standing and chatting, said I had been waiting kind of a long time, and the manager said oh. So I just told him that Id go somewhere else.I generally recommend supporting small, local business. The only reason I came here was my old standby didnt have the product I was looking for. Mom and Pop hardware stores tend to go the extra mile.

I came to see if the store might have a rare item (to me). I needed a certain acid - only it will remove stains in older oak that came from iron Staples used 35 years ago. I am reconditioning a nice oak stair case that was buried in carpet ! Many little black spots marred its beauty! Now there will be an attractive entrance for our home.The store also provided me with a heavy duty pigtail for a battery charger (up to 50 amps !!). They had the old fashioned Locktite to insure that my extended stair bannisters nuts & bolts will stay tight thru the years but I will still be able to change them.Finally, I picked up that excellent rootbbeer & sasperila. AN EXCELLENT SUPPLIER FOR THE NEEDS OF A MULTIPLE INTEREST CRAFTSMAN AS MYSELF.The assistance I received from Gary and Sean was instant and completely fulfilling my expectations! Very friendly staff and they make sure to ask if you need assistance finding anything and they even wish you luck on your project when you check out.

My experience with the employees has been more negative than positive. They always ask if I have a rewards card, even when I HAD been in three days in a row. They reneged on a sale item; apparently an employee misspoke and they would not honor what I was told was on sale. It was less than $10 total, but I have had it. Will not return unless I have an emergency.

Store is clean, employees are friendly and know their stuff. Way easier to get what I need here than at a big-box store, and prices are good too.
