Best vanilla ice cream I’ve ever had. 10/10. I had one of those moments from “ratatouille”where time stands still and the nuances of every ingredient dances around on my palate.My child enjoyed the rainbow flavors.Props to the server there being really friendly and helpful.

Sanders is an old time family favorite. Theres no better hot fudge or Carmel topping for your icecream. You can feel the nostalgia of the Sanders brand, stop in get some icecream, candy or maybe an icecream cake. I highly recommend this business!

A family tradition is to get sanders chocolate bunnies for easter. Couldnt fine it online so drove 45 minutes to go here to get them. After getting 20 bunnies and eggs a and over 165.00 later this was my experience. The cashier was the only one in the store upon entering. Then the cashier acted like she didnt want to wait on us and was quiet rude. The lady I was with is an amputee and is on water pills. She asked the cashier for a public restroom. Because of the mask it was hard for the cashier to hear. I replied yeah with the masks its hard to hear. The cashier said no she just needs to speak louder. She said no we dont have a bathroom here. Now they had a sign that read no more then 3 customers allowed in the store at a time. Now me and the lady I was with were together. Then 4 more people came in. The cashier never said anything to them. She rang us up gave us our total we paid and that was that. No thank you, have a good day, nothing. After the attitude and the way she talked to us. I couldnt believe we drove that far and spent that much and the lady was so short and rude. Customer service course would be recommend to that cashier if I was the owner. I understand not having a bathroom but she could of been a little nicer to strangers that didnt cause any problems to you at all. She was rude from the very get go of going in the store. Never a hello or anything. I was shocked that sanders would accept that kind of customer service with it being around as long as it has. Customers is what builds your store

I bought the banana split to eat at the shop and some goodies to take home. The split was really good and it comes with toooons of toppings! There were a variety of fruit flavors such as pineapple and strawberry for toppings and the three traditional ice cream flavors. Everything bought was beyond delicious. Ill definitely be coming back when in the area.

I traveled a looong way to have Sanders delectable treats! I have never had a milk chocolate hot fudge topping better than Sanders!!! I am so in love with the buttery chocolatey goodness. I literally have to pace myself.

Excellent customer service and the vanilla ice cream has a smooth taste. The portion size of a small ice cream cone is quite large.

I just walked out of there. Was getting some ice cream for the family, and was told they wouldn’t serve me without a mask? Im not even to my car, and three people walk out from back room with no masks on. A lady and a man and an older man? If your gonna say you have strict rules try to apply them to yourselves too. This is after we were told by governor that if you had vaccines you didn’t need one. Not to mention I was only person in there and you have a huge plexi glass wall between me and anything else?

My cream puff was soggy, I remember them having less ice cream and smaller,that was what I was looking forward to and I was not impressed.. but I will always love Saunders hot fudge

The hot fudge cream puff......oh my, its heaven. They sell the cream puff shells there so you can take some home. My favorite dessert by far.

Sanders what can I say! Born and raised in the region its in our DNA! Clean, friendly and oh the choices! Fun to listen to the elders who start lamenting todays prices. Back when I was young a milkshake was 10 cents. Ah that was 80 years ago. So many new items. I will usually pick up a few things when a need a hostess gift. Another employer of town youth with an emphasis on customer service training.

One of the few stores left where you can still get a delicious Sanders Hot Fudge Cream Puff. Great staff, only a few inside tables but if its nice outside enjoy people watching sitting outside. All the ice cream treats and candy goodies taste just as good as when I was a child. Be sure to drop in and enjoy!

Visiting from out of town. Grew up near by and my wife what to go therebecause it reminded her of when child hood having Sanders fudge sunday. She enjoyed it very much.I ordered butter pecans (no fudge topping) and felt it was just average. I will admit it had more pecans then I usually get from other producers.

Love the Bumpy Cake! Great product, unfortunately we’ve had bad service at this location. The cashier was very cold and unwelcoming. I asked her a question about one of the sundaes and she seemed annoyed, which took us off guard. Needless to say, my family and I ended up just buying a cake and left. I get that people have bad days, but simply being kind shouldn’t be too hard when you work in a service industry. There were no hellos, can I help you, thanks for stopping in, goodbye...

I loved the ice cream and chocolate! The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I bought the bumpy cake, a cream puff ice cream Sunday, and little Michigan shaped chocolates for my family back home. The bathrooms were clean and prices were reasonable. I will be coming back.

Fabulous hot fudge ice cream puffs! Great old school ice cream parlor. Passing the tradition of getting a hot fudge cream puff after school clothes shopping with my children that my mother did with me and her mother before her. Love it!

I was the only customer and seated at the counter. The waitress required I appear at the register to place an order, pay and return to pickup my order. Customer service and friendliness is a slim differentiator. I like other retail ice cream just as well and Iheir nice to me.

Another Staple to Downriver, to Wyandotte, to Michigan! Sanders in Wyandotte is located where Strohs once was. Strohs moved down the street after a building fire. I dont recall what year that was. Service is always excellent even when the store is overflowing with customers!

Only a few places left where you can enjoy a authentic Cream Puff dessert. Its gotten small, but its still tasty. Nice scenic view. Warms your soul.

Truly even the manager seemed to be having a bad day. We all have bad days, but a Customers experience should ALWAYS be great!!! If you want good service youll have to drive to Rochester.

This place is awesome, it brings back some childhood memories. There was a Sanders in our neighborhood, one block away. I remember visiting there, most of the time just to look around and if I was lucky, one of the bakers would give me a piece of chocolate. To a child it was a dream, a very awesome dream. Now, I bring my grandkids here to make memories.

Quite a long line when three clerks were attempting to complete one transaction. No communication to the customers is not an option. It seemed as though the clerks were not prepared enough to handle a problem when all three were clueless to its resolution. More coverage on a pre holiday day by senior staffing would be a great option.When I asked for my Hot Fudge Cream Puff to be cut in half I was told that I would be charged a total of $8.00 .....FOR ONE SUNDAE!!!!???? I am sure that other Sanders franchises dont charge over$3.00 to cut a sundae in half!Im glad that Strohs is just a few steps down the street.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! Very poor service, Sue the cashier was very unfriendly and racist. She greeted people differently and this was noticed right away upon entering the store. She even miscalculated the order and shrugged at a few requests I had. I would NOT enter this place. There are many other shops that were more friendlier and provided better service than this. WILL NEVER BE SUPPORTING THIS LOCATION ever again. Very poor customer service! Not even 1 stars service!

Had received 30 dollars of gift cards for my daughters birthday and when I took my family which consisted of an 80 year old grandma, 4 excited kids and myself we encountered a super rude older Caucasian lady at the register who was racist and did not want to serve us due to our Sanders gift cards !She even served another customer behind me as she ignored me and told me I would not be getting the cards back with the leftover balance !Her coworkers were younger and got our sundaes made and smiled at us but she definitely ruined our outing with her snub and trying to make us feel like our business didnt matter.I will tell all my friends not to visit this one in Wyandotte at all.The ice cream is good and the candy quality but not worth the humiliation from a gift given to my kid who loves ice cream.I find it hard to believe we were the first customers ever to use gift cards from their own corporation to inconvenience the cashier who was so unecessarily rude !We wanted to get out of there after quite a drive and did not enjoy our icecream.We felt unwelcome and scolded.We visited on the first warm Sunday last weekend after dinner before it got dark.
