Probably the best latte I’ve had in years. Such a nice place in a cool location. Today was my first time here and I can definitely see myself coming here regularly. Staff was kind and coffee selection has something for everyone.

It’s hard to fathom that this establishment has anything less than a perfect five star rating. Shoemaker is hands-down the best coffee shop in Wylie, nay, the best coffee shop in Dallas-Fort Worth. I come here on a regular basis for their craft lattes and friendly faces. The barista Brenden always goes above and beyond, he’s just the best. 12/10 recommend. I can’t praise this spot enough.

Passing through Wylie, TX and had to stop at the famous Shoemaker & Hardt. I had a refreshing slushy sea salt and caramel double espresso. The servers are young but very attentive, pleasant and fast. I see why the town loves this place.

A knick knacky gift shop, posing as a coffee shop. That said, the coffee and snack food are both good, and all the stuff gives you something to look at. It would do the owner good to focus on hiring and training employees to focus on customers.

I come here every time I visit family, wish I lived closer. The frozen cherry chocolate Lata is to die for. The gift shop is very unique and fun. A+

Here is another downtown Wylie gem...Shoemaker & Hardt!!! It is a quaint, brick-lined cafe and general store featuring delicious specialty coffee drinks like Almond Joy and Milky Way! One of the favorites for my crew is the Kids Hot Chocolate because they make it at a reduced temperature so no burned tongues! In addition to tasty coffee and treats, they have tons of cool, eclectic knick knacks, antiques & gifts for sale as well! Seriously, there is something for everyone here so check it out soon!!!

Cool place for gifts and knick knacks. Nice tables if youd like to sit down. However, the coffee was lacking. My husband and I both got frappes, but it tasted more like a weak milkshake. Neither one of us could taste the coffee in it.

Came here just to try them, since they are local. Latte was outstanding. Whole environment was festive. Definitely worth trying here. I will definitely come back to this cute place.

S & H has that gift that you need to get for somebody. You dont know what you want to get for them, but surely youll find whatever it is at S & H. Even if that gift is for yourself.

Pretty cozy little shop of unique items and crafts for sale. Has the feel of a general store. I was thinking more of a coffeeshop (Starbucks) but the actual coffee serving area is small compared to the size of the store. They do have pastries, I stopped in for a late lunch, but they do not have wraps or sandwiches. The staff was very helpful on the items available for sale and what was happening in Wylie. Parking is limited since it is located on the main street of Wylie Square.

Great place for a coffee. The cowboy coffee is my favorite and the baked goods are a nice treat as well. Reasonably priced coffee with lots of sitting area inside and out to sip on your drink.

Excellent coffee and charming atmosphere. I have passed by here so many times and finally stopped in after a long day. I got a specialty coffee and my hubby got a hot chocolate. We both got cookies to try. Everything was excellent. I also noticed our barista was friendly and not pushy, he didnt rush me (I hate feeling rushed so I notice when someone is calm and easy going and I appreciate that). I loved walking around the shop and sitting in the comfy chairs just having a relaxing break from the world with my honey and a hot coffee.

This is the hidden gem of Wylie and the DFW area. Their atmosphere, shopping, coffee, treats, and friendly staff are truly one of a kind. We LOVE this place!

I have yet to see how this place has as many stars as it does. If you want food poisoning then its a good place to go. They re-steam left over milk from previous drinks . They dont dial in espresso or even have a CLUE on how to dial in, taste or make a drink. Health code violation with the milk situation. Owners dont do anything about it because theyre too afraid to and are too nice and the drinks like the chai are SO sweet . Theres a big blob of it left at the bottom of the cup .

This is a cute little coffee place. I hate coming here because it’s like opening Pandora’s box. I leave upset because of all the cute decor stuff that can’t go with me. The coffee is so flavorful and the customer service is always great. I love how awesome it smells from the diffusers.

Love this coffee place! My all time favorite place to go for my cup of Joe! Staff does like to finish their conversation first though before taking your order. I’ve received several free coffee tokens because of that. Still 5 stars though because I love this place. Try the scones!

Love this! The smell of craft coffee hits you as soon as you walk in and you are overwhelmed by fun seasonal decorations for sale. Love the friendly staff and variety of trinkets for sale. Very fun place to visit.

My wife and I stopped in for iced lattes today. They were amazing! I had butternut toffee and she had vanilla... both with whipped cream. We also ate a cinnamon scone - warmed up... delicious! The staff was inviting and friendly. We enjoyed browsing the items in the store, too! We will definitely be coming back when in Wylie!

I met up with a friend here to kick back in a corner of the store, visit, and crochet. There are all kinds of wonderful things for sale, from antiques to greeting cards to old-fashioned toys! I love their hot chocolate and yummy treats! The kids who work there are always friendly and quick to serve the customers.

Amazing place! Great coffee and sugar free options. New girl they just hired is so sweet- she is my fav. The girl training her wasn’t super friendly and made a negative comment about my “only dollar” tip, but the nice girl makes up for it. I mean I bought a cup of coffee- I always tip but I’m not tipping the cost of the cup. GeezAnyway- go here!! It’s the coolest little place in wylie

Absolute favorite coffee shop in the area. But thats not fair, this place isnt just a coffee shop, its an entire experience. The atmosphere, the employees, the music, the menu, the animal taxidermy, the vintage prosthetic leg for sale. Nothing beats this place for a nice Sunday morning sit-down for a treat with the kids.

Lovely coffee shop in downtown Wylie. They have a large selection of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I had their Tsunami latte which was delicious. The storefront is also a gift shop with vintage items, candles, soaps, baby onesies, and childrens toys.

My husband and I were in Wylie for a conference a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed a LOT of great Texas hospitality. Loved this small shop feel coffee house and enjoyed a wonderful latte. Their shop features some beautiful and unique gift ideas, too. They kindly opened their doors and hosted some of us from the Christian Comedy Association convention and let us (hopefully) entertain their clients. Great place, excellent coffee, wonderful vibe. I hope the conference is there again next year just so we can go back!

This place has become part of our family tradition. For the last 4 years we do a second Thanksgiving in Wylie the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Every year we take our kids by Shoemaker & Hardt to get hot chocolate, and they love it. Every year since then they ask to stop by there before taking the long trip home. The people here are great and so nice. Store has that old time feel. As Thanksgiving and Christmas approach, I have a feeling we will be stopping in soon for a little Christmas shopping and a cup of that sweet hot chocolate.

I always love to visit this place when Im in town. Even if you dont buy any coffee staff are always welcoming. I love to look at the taxidermy on display and even hear an interesting story or two about some of the items that arent for sale. The coffee is also very good, and there is an interesting and unique selection to choose from. I highly recommend stopping by in down town Wylie for a visit, it will be worth it.

Im not a huge fan of hot drinks, but during fall and winter I crave Hot Apple Cider. I used to get them from Starbucks, then I tried the one from Shoemaker & Hardt. My life is now forever changed and I can never go back to drinking the watered down, overpriced, excuse for Apple Cider from Starbucks again. Plus the store is really awesome, its eclectic and unique. They even sell Sarsaparilla, which is pretty freaking cool.

Cute coffee shop that actually had some of the best chai tea that Ive ever had. There was also excellent service and a homey feel.

I visit Wylie once a week and have for months because it’s a half way point between where my parents live and I live, and this coffee shop is a cute little place to hang out a bit for the grandchild swap lol! The drinks are always perfect, customer service is awesome (my 7 year old talks their ears off and they’re always so nice to him) and they have a good selection of various unique gifts and a bit of antique goods too.

I have been going here since I was four, and it is still amazing!The drink selection is great too!

Wonderful place to visit at. Make sure you drink specialty coffee. If you drink regular coffee you get powdered cream and they treat you quite differently. I have been treated better there before so maybe it was just this Clerk. Anyways I had come from Florida to visit with friends and we visited there and had a good time. If you want a unique gift that is the place to shop.

Damn I hate to see this place go but if they keep hiring new employees every week there business will not last!!I used to love coming to this place but seem everytime we go is a new employee confused on how to make the drinks we order. And is reading off a DIY recipe on the wall. I guess I’ll start taking my business to Starbucks or the scooters down the road .

Our favorite coffee shop ! Hands down! They have really neat drinks for the kids, toys and candy. My kids always get the sub zero oreo frapp and a honey bun. My go to is the lavender cappuccino but they have so many great flavors. When I mix it up I get the raspberry capp, or milky way capp. Great gifts available too!

Such a cool little coffee shop and gift store! The guy at the register when we went had a voice that was so nice he could be an announcer or read audio books.All the employees were friendly and the coffee was great! Enjoyed looking around while waiting for our drinks.One other thing, when we walked in there was music playing. As we walked to the back of the store we realized it wasnt just music, but someone in the back with a guitar. So cool.

Im not a big coffee fan overall, but THIS place has delicious coffee. There are always interesting bits and bobs to look at in the store, it smells wonderful, and its a nice, relaxing place to catch up with a friend over coffee.

Huge fan of this place! Great lattes/coffee, and lots of interesting and fun things to look at and buy. Awesome selection of old time games and toys marbles (got a new shooter from the marble tray last trip), cap guns, wax lips, rubber band guns... pretty stained glass lamps, tea towels, greeting cards. Great place to just browse!

Just one more reason I love downtown Wylie. Love the atmosphere here. The owners and everyone who works here are personable and very helpful. Their prices are stellar and you can choose any of their coffee drinks and get them hot or cold. I also really like their Italian sodas and scones. If you have a sweet tooth they have ice cream and a unique candy selection. Love meeting friends here for coffee or bringing my laptop here to work.

Wow! What a fun experience. If you like eclectic eye candy this is the place for you! The store is chock full of unusual gift items. I could literally spend an entire afternoon browsing and almost did. Check out the gift cards, precious and a great price. The coffee and teas were exceptional. My wife and I just visited this little gem in Wylie this evening and really enjoyed it. The young man who helped us (wish we had caught his name) was amazingly helpful and very friendly. The iced coffees were perfectly made to order and the scones were awesome as well.After a game of checkers, at the back of the store, we looked around and found a couple of decorative items we purchased for our home. Amazing little country store... has neat retro toys from when times where some much simpler... very cool store and atmosphere and has super delicious coffee and hot chocolate for the kiddos... great to stop in and chill out... like stepping back in time with some of the modern comforts of today...

Always interesting to look around in this store. Marbles, gadgets, and taxidermy. I think it is some kind of consignment shop as well. Have you seen the dog in the box? We mainly go for the drinks. The Chi Tea is really good. I also like the Italian cream soda. Friendly service.

Charming store with a wide variety of options. Friendly staff. Large selection of specialty coffee drinks. The best Chai tea ever! This is my go to last minute gift store. They have unique gift items and are open early and late. I can pop in before work buy a great gift and a bag with tissue and know one knows I waited until the last minute.

This quaint little Shop is my new favorite coffee place! It has the flavor options of Starbucks without the high price! I absolutely love their white chocolate caramel latte!I live in Garland and work in Dallas, but I will drive to Wylie to get my coffee when I can!

Think antique store (with comfortable seating) combined with a coffee shop. Shoemaker and Hardt has a friendly atmosphere where many of my local friends work or grab coffee. I am a real fan of the Hazelnut special. Be aware though they have been closed due to the recent hail storm so call to see if repairs are done yet!

A favorite for our family. Great coffee, friendly service. They always have unique items that are great for gifts. They leave a checkers board out that my daughter and I enjoy as well.

Like a strange antique store as well as a coffee shop. They put more work into their drinks than Starbucks, but the coffee isnt always as strong. Then again, Im used to stouter brew than even Starbucks or Shoemaker, so it could just be taste. Careful with children in the store, as most products on display arent exactly child-safe! Especially the cane-swords. Yep, I said SWORDS.

So fun! My granddaughter picked out some marbles to learn how they played in the old days. So many interesting, unusual, and funny items. Beware of Wife sign and a prosthetic eye that came with a cool story.
