The Bridal Shoppe in Wylie is amazing!! The atmosphere is so inviting and Janet is SO supportive when trying on dresses. This is by far the best place to go dress shopping and I recommend it to anyone. The dresses are gorgeous and you can truly customize any dress to fit your needs. LOVE!!!

This place is absolutely amazing! They fit me in quickly to try on dresses because I waited until the last minute to start dress shopping. I had the best experience trying on dresses. Their dresses are absolutely gorgeous! Everyone was so helpful and kind. I highly recommend The Bridal Shoppe! They answered all of my questions and they are very accommodating. When I found a few dresses that I liked the owner immediately let me know if she was able to get them in time.

Can I give 100 stars?! I seriously cannot recommend this boutique enough!! From the kindness, outstanding help and professionalism, Janet listened to exactly what I was looking for and I tried on so many beautiful + reasonable priced dresses. My experience was AMAZING here and I found the ONE!!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! I had the absolute best bridal dress shopping experience I could ask for. Janet was so warm, genuine, and personable. I was impressed by her within the first 5 minutes of meeting her. She gave me the freedom to grab whatever dresses I liked and was so knowledgeable and helpful to me. She helped me not only find the perfect wedding dress, but allowed a space for me to have a joyful and intimate experience with my Mom and best friend in the process. It was about a 40 minute drive to this shop from my house and 100% worth it. If you are in search for your wedding dress, this place is it. The dresses are beautiful and affordable. I have been waiting to write this review so that I could provide details on the entire experience so be prepared because it’s a little lengthy! :) Overall, I would give all of these ladies more than 10 stars if I could!My first appointment back in February when I was just browsing for dresses was more than phenomenal. My mom and aunt came in from out of town and we made a whole day of shopping for my dress with The Bridal Shoppe of Wylie being our last stop. I can’t even begin to explain the warmth and love that I immediately felt during our appointment. Janet made me feel more beautiful than I could have imagined and I tried on dresses that I was too shy to even look at elsewhere with her encouragement. I did not experience that feeling of warmth, encouragement, and pure love and joy that Janet provided when helping me find my dress in any other bridal shop I went to (and I went to quite a few!). I was so beyond thrilled that I found the most perfect dress for me here and it would not have been possible if not for the amazing environment that Janet provided! :)My dress came in almost right on time from the estimated delivery date and it was soo easy to set up my first fitting appointment so that I could really see myself in my dress. Let me just tell you that it didn’t disappointment! I love my dress more and more each time I put it on!Because Janet provided such an amazing experience I knew to trust their in-house seamstress over anyone else for the alterations and I am so happy I did! Wendy has been amazing through my alterations! My dress fits like a glove so I didn’t need much done but I did have a personal item I wanted sewn into the dress. She went above and beyond taking extra care with something that means so much to me! Not to mention she did an amazing job with the alterations but I never had a single concern to begin with! :)I can’t sing high enough praises for these ladies! They have truly made my experience magical and provided me with the most perfect wedding dress that I can’t wait to walk down the isle with to my love/soon to be hubby!!

Can I give them 6 stars?? Wow!!!! Went in here on a whim to look for my daughters first communion dress. The dresses were beautiful, very reasonably priced. I was a little nervous about the potential prices going into a bridal shop for a first communion dress.....so glad we went here!! We found the perfect dress, never felt pressured to buy, and she even volunteered the sample prices in case we wanted that option.The fitting area is huge and comfortable, the dresses are gorgeous, I wish I had shopped here years ago for my wedding dress!! Even though we weren’t there for a wedding gown, we felt like important customers and she made the experience so special for my daughter. Thank you!! You made this momma very happy!

Janet and her team at The Bridal Shoppe makes every bride feel like the most beautiful and most special person in the world! My experience trying on dresses here was beyond perfection. Communication with Janet prior to coming was extremely quick and consistent on setting up an appointment.The shop itself is gorgeous and the dresses are all organized and displayed beautifully. I love that they even have photos tagged to the dresses because Im horrible at judging a dress on a hanger and visualizing what it looks like!Janet was so attentive, sweet, kind, and extremely helpful in helping me choose and try on dresses. She was quick to sense any hesitations I had and caught on to my expressions on how I felt to help me finalize what I loved. Even if I did not pick my dress from here, I can say with confidence I had the best experience here. Luckily for me, I did find my dress here and am so ecstatic its with such a great shop! They also have great payment plans to help brides and I could not be happier with my experience from beginning to end.And since we are in a pandemic: they have completely private appointments, fully masked at all times, and I felt so safe throughout my entire appointment! During such a stressful time in the world, I was so grateful to find a shop that truly made me feel like a bride/princess and forget about lifes troubles for a few hours!

Janet listened to my needs and asked about my preferences. She selected 5 beautiful dresses that were in my budget, flattered my body type and made me feel like a princess. She accommodated my request to return the next day to view dresses and provided creative insights on how to alter my dress. My family and I were appreciative of the fun, low pressure environment. I could not have picked a better bridal shop!! From calling to schedule my first bridal appointment to preserving my wedding dress, Janet has been so incredibly helpful! Being a bride during COVID definitely had its challenges, but Janet ensured my experience at The Bridal Shoppe Wylie was wonderful!With my first-time bridal appointment, Janet immediately made me feel at ease. My mom, mother in law and bridesmaids were able to attend the appointment with me. With such a large fitting room space, everyone was able to sit comfortably and see every dress I tried on. Janet helped me in and out of each dress and I never felt self-conscious or uncomfortable. Her expertise really helped with narrowing down the style of dress that looked best on me. Once in dress #6, I knew it was the one and so did Janet! Even with keeping the dress on for a while (I didn’t want to take it off!!), I never felt rushed to wrap up the appointment. I also really appreciated having Janet’s attention the whole time. She wasn’t going back and forth to handle other duties in the store, and I was the only bride during my appointment time. I really felt like I was able to have a special moment when looking for my dress! Isn’t that what every bride wants? I definitely had my ‘say yes to the dress’ moment, with happy tears and all!After finding my perfect dress, I also had my fittings at The Bridal Shoppe with Wendy. The fitting appointments were easy and never rushed. My mom was able to go with me, which made for some really special moments for the two of us. Once the dress fit perfectly, Janet offered to keep my dress at the shop so I didn’t have to worry about my fiancé taking a peek. Janet steamed my dress before my bridal portraits, kept the dress again between the portraits and the wedding, and steamed the dress again before I picked it up for my wedding day! She even offered to steam my mom’s wedding day attire! After the wedding, I reached out for recommendations on dress preservation and The Bridal Shoppe offers that service too!! My dress is still out for preservation, but I completely trust that it will be perfect when I pick it up for the last time!If you are looking for the best bridal dress shopping experience, I 1000% recommend you give Janet a call and book that appointment!

This was the first Bridal Shop I went to on my journey to find the perfect dress for my upcoming wedding in September. I am so glad I made the decision to come here, everything was perfect! As soon as you walk in youre dazzled by all the beautiful gowns and not only that, Janet was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond with making sure the gown I had requested was at the store for me to try on, and she was incredibly patient as I was having trouble deciding which gown was The One . She made me and my party feel very welcomed and put my nerves at ease as this was the first time I had ever tried on wedding gowns. I cant recommend this place enough I left feeling so happy at how effortless everything went and was able to purchase a dress that felt like it was made for me!

My sister and I had such an unforgettable experience here. The shop is located upstairs and overlooks downtown Wylie. It is so well decorated and very inviting. I love the antique look of the place. The owner was helping us and did not make us feel rushed. We had a glass of peach champagne, that was delicious. The owner allowed me to try on several dresses that I chose from, unlike Davids Bridal which limited me to how many I could try on. The prices were a bit expensive and I didnt end up buying a dress but the experience was outstanding. They even have other accessories for any wedding.

Getting my wedding dress at The Bridal Shoppe was an easy, fun, and enchanting experience. I couldnt recommend this place enough! I believe the woman who helped us was Janet, one of the co-owners of the store, and she was so sweet, helpful, professional, and accommodating.I initially went into the experience with some reservations - Ive always been a very curvy woman and trying on clothes (especially for important events) has never been a fun experience for me. With such a BIG event and knowing Id be the center of attention, I was very anxious going in.As soon as my parents and I arrived we felt so welcome. You get a cozy room with chairs for guests and a big comfy couch, and the actual fitting room is private and spacious. With COVID, they dont serve drinks but they allow you to bring your own, and Janet wore her mask the entire time so we felt very comfortable being there.There is a wide variety of different styles of dresses to choose from, and they had about 7 dresses that fit my desired style perfectly. Trying them on was comfortable and not at all invasive, and the experience went a lot quicker (in a good way) than I expected.Janet was so accommodating when I was indecisive, and made sure I knew the most important part was to make sure I felt comfortable and beautiful in whatever I chose. She let me try on the same dress multiple times so I was sure I made the best decision, and I was never rushed.And the prices!!! They have gorgeous dresses that are on sale, and their full-priced dresses are an amazing price for how high-quality they are.Overall I had an amazing experience and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wedding dress, even if you have to drive a little out of the way!

Truly had the dress fitting of my dreams here! Melanie was the sweetest EVER. My guests sat cozily and sipped on mimosas while I got to try on the most beautiful dresses. And lo and behold, Melanie found the PERFECT dress for me. It was the dress of my dreams AND it was on clearance. I would love to post a pic but worried my fiancé might see 😂 Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding dress boutique.

Oh my gosh. This place was truly amazing. This is the best salon I’ve been to so far. The consultant was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. She provided mimosas, water, and donut holes (11am appointment). All appointments are private so theres no other girls there but you and your group. Their dresses were gorgeous. we also had options to make some changes to the dresses as well. Very impressed and very highly recommend!!

I can’t say enough great things about this bridal shop! From the second we made an appointment, to the bridal consultation, and then the dress fitting, The Bridal Shoppe in Wylie is world-class!! The staff support is phenomenal (Melanie and Janet are the BEST!), the dresses are beautiful, they have a good variety, and they have extremely competitive pricing!This was the first of two places I had an appointment on my dress shopping day. At first, I was not having much luck with the dresses I pulled to try on. Melanie, the manager who helps you try on the dresses, quickly learned the style of dress that would be perfect given everything I had already tried on, she went and pulled the PERFECT dress, right away I knew it was the one.Although I knew I found my dress, I wanted to go ahead and go to the second place just in case, I recommend going to all the places you have appointments booked. You really never know, and if you’re like me, it will help you know when you’ve found YOUR dress. After going to the second place, I realized it’s more than just the dress alone, it’s the experience, it’s the staff, it’s did me and my group feel taken care of. Attention all brides-to-be: GO TO THE BRIDAL SHOPPE FIRST.Before I came to The Bridal Shoppe, I purchased a wedding dress at another, well-known, bridal boutique. I had a decent experience there but nothing to write a review about. I was not impressed with their in-house seamstress as she wanted an INSANE amount of money to alter. Long story short, I decided to ditch my first dress and find another. I was introduced to The Bridal Shoppe and I regret not looking there first! This bridal shop is the REAL DEAL. The Bridal Shoppe staff go out of their way to make you feel beautiful. Mel is truly one of the nicest women I have ever met. The shop is quaint and intimate with a fantastic selection of dresses that fit every budget. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend The Bridal Shoppe. Also, get your dress altered by their in-house seamstress, Wendy. This woman works miracles. She is quick, meticulous, has a fantastic sense of humor, and is a no BS kind of lady which is EXACTLY what you want when it comes to wedding dress alterations!! I wish I could give Mel, Wendy, and The Bridal Shoppe 10 stars.

Love this store! My appointment was wonderful and the consultant was a complete joy! Highly recommend!Update: After my second appointment, the quick fit and dress pick-up, I feel I must update my review.IF I were to recommend a friend to this location, I would say they have some very beautiful dresses at reasonable prices and during covid they were very understanding about payments after I had been furloughed for a number of months. This is why I am giving 3 stars.However, during my second appointment, it took longer to get in and out of my dress than the time I was allowed to be in it. I was not even able to try on my veil, let alone get any pictures. It seems I had been double booked and another bride walked in at the same time as my appointment. Now, if I hadnt have made this appointment almost an entire month ahead and explained, at the time of booking, I had my MOH coming from another state for this appt specifically, then maybe I could let that slide. But I was literally rushed out the door. I had fully intended on buying jewelry and setting up an appt for alterations. I had to ask for alteration information and before I could even get to the door, she was already in with the other bride. It had literally been 15 mins since I had left my car until I returned and that was with a bathroom break.I left shocked, dazed and hurt. This was not the experience I had expected. Never did I expect red carpet treatment but I sure didnt think I would be pushed out.After getting home and back into the dress, on further inspection, there seemed to be a flaw in the dress. I emailed my consultant pictures and explained how I felt of my appt experience. This is when it was explained to me I had been squeezed in and quick fit appts only last 15-30mins. As for the dress, the reasoning given was that my MOH must have laced it up wrong. (Sidenote, if there was even a slight chance this could happen, at the appt when my MOH was in the room, this would have been the time to show her the correct way) The consultant did apologize and say she did not want any bride feeling this way and if I could come in, she would lay out the red carpet. I explained that I appreciate the gesture and if it was user error there was no need to drive over an hour one way to be told it was unfixable. Then, at her urging, she insisted she would come to me. I explained that with my new job, I really had limitations but she insisted she would look at her calendar and get back to me......it has been three months and I have yet to hear anything back.Now my dress is in alterations and low and behold, there truly was a flaw in the material. According to my seamstress, a few layers of the fabric had been sewn together causing a crease.I truly have gone back and forth with myself about updating this review. Which appt was the fluke? But after the experience, the response I was given and now the then again being forgotten with no response, I cant in good conscience send anyone I consider a friend to this location.So to any future brides, I truly hope your experience will not be the same as mine. And I wish you all the best of luck.

The owner was very nice and helpful but I’ve dealt more with Melanie who had over the top service. Very kind, patient and sweet. We laughed and had so much fun together. I just felt so comfortable with her. The experience is unbeatable.

Came here with a friend who is getting married. We had already been to a few other places and these ladies were so much more knowledgeable and took the time to really help the bride find gowns she may like in her budget. I want to start with the fact that my soon to be daughter in law went to Davids Bridal first. It was absolutley hands down the worst experience ever. It took weeks for her to want to go out again and look for that perfect dream dress. We had heard from a family member who was getting married this year as well that they found a hidden gem. And Ladies trust me it is . This boutique is so adorable. From the second you walk in you feel like your soon to be bride is the only one. They make her feel very attended to. I just cant say enough. A nice dress selection, and acessories as well. In the future I will send everyone I know there first. Just to have the total bridal experience that you know a bride deserves.

I had the best experience here! I tend to get overwelmed pretty easily when it comes to shopping for clothes and the consultants never once rushed me or made me feel like I HAD to find my dress immediately. I tired on many desses and ended up choosing the 2nd dress I tried on. while my mom, sister, and 11 month old niece were waiting for me to come out with dresses on, they were treated to mimosas and pastries. Overall, I could have been happier with my experience and Im thrilled I found my dress here!
