Have taken several of my vehicles there and have received excellent service and for reasonable prices.

Took my wife car in for a inspection to sell and they did a magnificent job. They were friendly fast and a good price.

I trust Rodney with all 6 of my vehicles. He does great work and uses American made parts as much as possible.

I wish the owner could be more patient and on time. If you are the one who has questions when you take your car in for a repair/check, I would suggest you think twice. Did a pre-purchase inspection, its very vague from the report what has been inspected or not. No list of inspected things. Only one or two lines telling me what I need to change. Not as professional as other shops I had been before. Also, told me they were going to call me back to give me estimate about the parts cost. Never got a call from them after I paid them.

Took it in because car was pulling to the left they convinced me I needed to change my calipers for 800 bucks didnt call me when the job was done and my car still pulls to the left

I have used Select Auto Repair since moving to Xenia more than a decade ago. They are, by far, the best auto repair shop i have ever used. Great work at fair prices. Disregard the negative post. I have had many dealings with Select Auto and they are top shelf.

This shop is a blessing to women. They take the time to explain what has gone wrong and how it needs to go back together. As a non mechanical person, it is nice to feel that I am not being taken advantage of for just being a woman that only knows how to put gas in her car. I will definately be returning to this business from now on!

Select Auto has been taking care of our cars for almost 2 decades and charges a fair rate for excellent work. They are helpful at helping keep the cars in good shape with respect for our time and budget.

They are very reasonable and also saw another thing that would need to be replaced soon but did it right then so I would not have to pay another service charge

I hate unfair reviews like the one mentioned earlier. I know the person that left this review and they are trying to scam a good business by trying to leave a bad review in hopes of a free repair. Select auto repair in Xenia is a great honest business that does fabulous work.

Serviced the transmission on my sisters van, when she got home transmission fluid had sprayed all over the engine compartment. Rodney claimed it was engine coolant (obviously wasnt). Charged an additional $300 to fix his mistake.

Been going there for years for auto repair. Clean shop and Rodney is just great.

Shady car place. I was told service would be $35, never received a car regarding the complexity or that the price would increase. Rodney extorted me by telling, “ if you don’t pay, I’ll file for your title”. The bill was $264. Normally, if things will cost more money, it’s a customary standard to contact you prior to doing work, he didn’t. Then he tried to insult my intelligence on the phone ( I’m a CPA). Select Auto is a piece of garbage, take your car done to JimHarworth on Detroit Street in Xenia or Fishers Diesel off of Patton street. Stay away from Rodney and Select Auto, they’ll try extort you to take your car!

A blessing,you got to be kidding! I guarantee that they put it to you good. Im sure he thanked the Lord when you came into his establishment, especially not knowing anything about automotive repair. This establishment is over priced, does shoddy work, and charges for services that werent needed or they didnt even do. BOTTOM LINE, this shop needs to be investigated by the States Attorney General for its business practices and shut down.

With todays economy most people would like to save money, get fair prices,be treated with respect, and get what they pay for. I feel that this repair service failed to provide me with these expectations for the following reasons: I was not given a form when I dropped off the car giving my permission to do the work, and agreeing to a cost greater than $25.Secondly, I was contacted by phone that the A/C repair would cost $1300. I declined the repair, and after two attempts to pick up the car, handed a bill that exceeded the $25. repair limit by 6imes that amount.Thirdly, when I disputed the amount I was threatened and I called the local police to help resolve it. These are the facts with my experience with this business. For some unknown reason, Google removed my last comments, so this is my second attempt at letting the people know my experience using Google s service.
