One side of the lift mechanism on my garage door just came apart at the worst possible time. l called Edmunds on Monday morning and help arrived within a couple of hours. The repairman was polite, quick, and efficient. The work took about 45 minutes and included a thorough maintenance check and lubrication. The fee was very reasonable. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend this company.

We had a broken spring on our garage door over the weekend and I called first thing Monday morning & it was repaired by noon. I thought I would need a new garage door opener as mine is old. I told the technician that came out what was wrong and that I fully expected to have to install a new one. He took a look at said it probably just needed oil. He oiled all the wheels and joints and it completely took care of the problem. Still cost me $75 for my being a mechanical knucklehead, but I respect and am grateful that he didnt take advantage of my ignorance and force me to spend even more money.

After having a torsion spring break, I called J.P. Edmunds and they said they could get it fixed by the end of the day and their estimate was the lowest of the 5 companies I called. Dale showed up and had the old springs off, the new ones on and tightened, and the hinges and rollers oiled in no time. The work was done quickly, expertly, and with no hassles. I like to patronize the local businesses but Id take J.P. Edmunds over the big boys in Dayton any day. They were very easy to work with and come highly recommended.

I consider Edmunds Garage Doors one of the best contractors I use because I can always rely on them to respond quickly when I have a garage door issue, and I know they arent going to rip me off. About every 18 months or so, a roller slips, a hinge breaks, or some small problem pops up. Im a woman living alone, and have no desire to tackle it myself. Dale comes out, takes care of it quickly, and makes sure its working great. All very quickly and usually under 100 dollars. Theyve been my go to company for over 7 years and will be for many more.

I had JP Edmunds replace my original 1915 hinge-style garage doors in 1995 (Belmont-Creighton Ave). Their prices were competitive, they had friendly and experienced installers and their customer service was top notch.March 2016: My mother-in-laws spring broke on her garage door and she called several places and all of them said they couldnt make it for at least four days to a week which would leave her stranded at home. Her garage door wouldnt budge to get her car out. I called JP Edmunds and the nice lady on the phone said they could make it out the next day! They arrived and within an hour had it fixed...and for a GREAT price! My mother-in-law as VERY happy!I highly recommend JP Edmunds for garage door replacement or repairs!
