Got my first compound bow here, not only was the owner extremely helpful he was also very good on explaining everything to me, ended up buying extra accessories just because of his customer service, super happy to had shopped local!

Mike is always super helpful. Knowledgeable about everything in his store, I’ve never had an issue with anything he set me up with, and he will do what he can to get you into quality gear at the price point you’re working within. Also a great guy for a good hunting chat he’s lived in Yakima most of his life and run the shop 21 years.

Mike (owner) is truly a nice guy, shares great stories should you have the time to engage with him in conversation, and simply cares. My boy scouts needed a bit more fletching glue to repair arrows from our summer camp archery range and he wouldnt even take payment because of his scouting history. Nice job and way to do a good turn daily!

This is the best archery store around. The owner is super nice and helpful. He is extremely knowledgeable and has all the gear you’ll ever need. His prices on gear is a little less then average. And when it comes time to work in your bow the prices are unbeatable.

For my 1st time being in there my experience was the best, he really knows what type of bow Im wanting to start out with. Im really hoping to work my way into becoming a pro.

Mike is very knowlagble and patient. His prices and selection are great. The little work Ive had him do on my bow has been great. He usually has a backroom full of bows he is working on, so Im figuring Im not the only one who thinks so.Bonus, he has a great dog that hangs out in the shop. His dog is great with kids too.

My experience: Stopped in to get two compound bows setup for me and my partner. Mike Smith greeted me as I entered. I explained I am just getting into archery and I asked him whats next. He proceeded to check my draw length and set both bows to our specific needs. He even gave me a quick lesson on proper form as well as explaining the basics. I ended up purchasing a set of arrows that he setup for me. At checkout I asked how much for doing the setups for the bows. He just smiled and said oh Ill just do that for you here. Being that the bows werent purchased there I was shocked he would be so kind. As well as the arrows I gained free knowledge from guy who has been a bow hunter for as long as Ive been alive. Mikes experience, skills, passion for archery and customer service is why he has served the Yakima area for 20 years. Dont go to Cabelas. Go to Grizzly Archery! Trust Me!

Mike at Grizzly archery is a wealth of knowledge. His shop has a good selection of bows and accessories and he does a great job on setting up and tuning your bow.

Good guy but poor craftsmanship. 9/12 arrows lost front insert on first shot with target points. Too bad

Very friendly place, just went in for some maps and he stirred me to the exact place I could find them. If I lived in the area I would definitely do business there.
