We were on a family trip and a door latch mechanism broke in our vehicle. We stopped here to see if they could at least help us open the door. They did much more than that. They fixed the problem and they took care of us immediately. Rich, the owner welcomed like we were old friends (Go Cougs!) and Dana in the office fed us every bars, apples & coffee while we waited.These folks are top notch!

If I could give L.P. Body shop 100 stars I would. My coworker recommended them after I was rear-ended and I was extremely surprised and impressed with their customer service. They were kind and helpful through the entire process and stuck to the timeline they gave me. When something wasnt right they made sure to fix it so it was. Everyone who works there is kind and treats you with respect. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone who needs body work done. They do an amazing job.

Took my vehicle in to get repaired from a no-fault collision fixed. Job was professional, done in a time period that seemed reasonable, and fairly priced. I cannot tell that I was hit any more.

They did a really nice job with my Bullhide bed liner. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out which liner would be the best to go with. LineX? Rhino? Reflex? Bullhide? Theres a lot of choices. After a lot of research and a testimony from a friend, I decided to go with Bullhide. I was pleasantly surprised that it also happened to be the best price of all the options I priced out. It took almost a full day, but they told me that would be the case up front. After the material is placed, you have to leave you tailgate down for 24 hours. You are also instructed to wait 3 days before putting anything strenuous in the bed of your truck. After about a month, Im still happy with the purchase. The workmanship appears to be excellent and I was very happy to hear the prep the truck bed with 80-grit sandpaper, not just scotch-brite pads. Ill update if I ever have issues, but they give a limited lifetime warranty and will fix any issues with the material that are reasonable (whatever that actually means). This is a great bed-liner option. I would highly recommend.

WE have used LP Body for a number of years when something happens to one of our cars. Have always found the staff friendly, efficient and the work done has been of excellent quality. This business has a high standard of workmanship and quality standards. I highly recommend them for any work you may want done to fix a car after an accident or dent.

Very happy with the work that L & P did on my rear hatch. They also took care of the dent in my bumper. I live in Leavenworth, Washington but drove all of the way to Yakima to have the work done since previous work I have had done in my town was awful.Thank you Rich, Ed, and the rest of the shop. Havent got my car back yet but Ive had a lot of texted progress messages keeping me up on the progress of the repairs. Very impressed with that. My final rating will be dependent on the results. but from previous experience I dont expect it to go down from five stars

An auto transport company basically demolished my Ford F150 truck. It needed a whole new roof, windshield and other parts. I had the transport company take it to L.P. Body shop. They repaired it, replaced all needed parts and billed transport co. A+ service. They did awesome. I hopped in to drive it for the 1st time and backed right into a metal pole while still on thier lot. My heart sunk. The owner came out and popped out the dent and got rid of the paint at no charge to me.

Been doing business with LP Body Shop both personally and professionally for almost 20 years. They are the best in the valley. Period. They Guarantee their work and stand behind everything they do and sell. Rich Poulson (the owner) is one of the best guys I know and he is always a pleasure to work with.If you havent use LP Body shop for all your collision and body shop needs. You should. You will be impressed. If not they will make every effort to make you a satisfied customer.

We had a bed liner put in my husbands truck and L.P. body shop did a great job. My husband was impressed they took the bolts out on the tailgate instead of spraying the liner over them. They did a wonderful job and we were impressed with the small details! Looks great would totally recommend.

I have been to two other body shops here in Yakima and was not satisfied with my experience so I just popped in to get one more estimate on my truck (which is 12 years old by the way). L.P. gave me the best estimate of the other body shops so I decided to try them. I also asked them to buff my entire truck afterwards. I couldnt believe my eyes after I got my vehicle back. I had several of my people at work ask me, did you get new rims on your truck and did you get it painted? A great body shop and I will also let you know I went back a second time for my wifes car and they did just as well.

Quality of Work: 7/10I had a driver side front fender/bumper collision. After 1.5 months of having my vehicle, L and P let me go pick it up. The repair of the fender and replacement of the bumper looked great and near perfect with the paint job. However once I drove my vehicle, the hub bearing was damaged and the car was making an odd noise, they failed to noticed opposing headlight was out and the wood trim on the door ds door had popped off.Customer Service: 8/10Reception desk is extremely friendly and professional. They dont hesitate to make conversation. Rich was great at trying to satisfy my needs, although a little challenging. The issue i ran into was when i brought the car back to be looked at once again. Rich made the mistake of allowing me to walk with him and his mechanic to take a look and listen to the car. After mentioning the headlight, the mechanic was quick to point out it was not the side that was hit as if it wasnt their job to fix and that he knew the light didnt work before the wreck. Not the right response.I was referred to this business by my Farmers Insurance website. They had the highest rating of the top 3 receommened companies. I assumed that selecting them on the day of my collision and toeing my vehicle the same day would have resulted in the quickest turnaround rate for my vehicle....WRONG. My car was returned to me after 1 month and 3 weeks. The excuse was shipping period of my BMW car parts. After about 3 weeks of waiting i received a text saying my car was 50%complete, i went in as i had left my concealed weapons permit in my center console and the car was still wrecked completely and covered in snow, no work was done to it. That was disappointing, but not the worst part, i received 5 and counted 5 updates to the completion date of my vehicle.Overall : 7/10I would recommend these guys, however I do regret selecting them for my car repair mainly because of the repair time. I would be sure to let the next person know about the potential dragging of their repair request.Pros: Quality, Clarity of process and flexibility.Cons: Time of individual project completion, automated repair % via text.

I took my little cheap focus there to have my rear quarter panel replaced and painted along with some rear end work. After having my car for a month just waiting on parts they finally tried to start it just to begin work and find that my tumbler sticks. They call me to tell me i need a new ignition because they can not start it. I tell them to wait ill drive down there and show them how to to work it. When i get there they had already taken my dash fully apart and no igniton at all. I asked them why they had begun work I did not approve? They told me they had called my grandmother (who only dropped me off there when i had my car taken there, she gave her number as a second contact.) and got permission form her, mind you I am 25 and the car is in my name.I was charged an extra $500 for an ignition I never needed. Also they had my car a total of 55 days. Thats outragous!!!
