Good honest people tell it like it is the cars I was viewing where as is so with my personal experience the vehicle I looked at at the time died a few times it was not a happy time trying to get it started just to leave the car lot and test it but the dealers were honest about the information they knew about it I did not get it but I did look at another vehicle that did look more promising I would recommend this place just be aware of what youre buying and what you looking for and what youre willing to pay

Bought a Dodge pickup from Ruben in August of 2018. Owned the pickup for 20 minutes before the transmission went out. After Ruben went on and on during the 2 mile test drive (of which he insisted I didn’t need to test drive, I foolishly listened and trusted the deal), he spoke about how the owner of the company & management take care of their customers to no end. Upon realizing my transmission went out, Rubens only defense was that the car I traded to him was a manual and that made it worth less (I gave him the VIN before he drove from Yakima).The following day he told me the company wouldn’t pay for any of the repairs on the lemon they sold me. My dad, also my co-signer, got involved and got the attention of upper management at Auto Max and made them reconsider. Ruben, verbatim, asked the owner of the shop that was working on my pickup “How much is it going to cost to just get this thing running, no warranty or anything, so it’s nobody’s problem but hers”. The total cost of the transmission repair was $2600, and after much negotiation and a threat to take them to court, I finally got Auto Max USA to split the bill with me.My pickup had been wrecked, which allowed water into my transmission lines, they spray painted the entire undercarriage of my pickup to cover any damage and threw in a new radiator. And in the photos of the pickup it had silver wheels and upon delivery of the pickup they had rattle canned them matte black. Very unprofessional job.Fast forward to a month later when I finally get my pickup back, and Auto Max USA still hadn’t filed my paperwork to notify the DMV that I had purchased the vehicle & that my trade in vehicle was no longer mine.I would never recommend this slimy, shady business to even my worst enemy. I’d give them zero stars if it would let me.

Not recommend at all. Sold me a car that broke down a few months later. Supposedly went back to get it fixed, charged more than $3000 to have it later go down again and find out when I took it to the actual make dealer they didnt do what they said and ended up paying another $1000!

Great experience with Auto Max and RJ Johnson. They made the whole experience customer friendly and smooth. From the test drive to the Carfax/Autocheck to setting up the financing, it was smooth and enjoyable. You can tell they have been doing this since 1984. Finding a vehicle and purchasing one should be fun and easy to understand with no pressure and knowledgeable sale associates. At Auto Max this is the normal! Thanks all!

I had a good experience buying a car from Jimmy. No hassle, no hard sell, he was personable and respectful. The finance team found me a good rate, I didn’t spend hours at the dealership. Best of all I love my car.

I heard good things about this place and expected to be a good experience. Which at first it was, spent several hours after getting off work to get the car I desperately needed. It was exactly what I was looking for. They made me feel hopeful and excited to get a new lease on life. The following day I get a message telling me to come in and discuss the financing, I didn’t expect to have the most emotionally taxing and humiliating day of my life. Apparently the sale fell through, I unfortunately was not able to procure the exact requirements even though they made me feel like I was lucky a person the night before. I had to walk out of that dealership walking. I know they “tried” to offer alternatives but I honestly already felt extremely humiliated, frustrated and quiet frankly very emotionally charged. They lied and made me feel like I had a chance, that’s extremely unacceptable. I bet they knew the deal couldn’t be made. That’s the most disgusting part of it all.

Good place to buy a Ford truck excellent salesman and staff.

Well, I am excited to write this review. I had done a ton of research to find the best truck to pull my 32ft. 5th wheel. My knowledge of what I wanted had depth. Friends and family members help me along the way. So through my online research I found the truck. When I arrived at Auto Max USA, Ruben greeted me with a smile on his face. I told which truck I wanted to discuss and all the ins and outs of my needs. He went above and beyond by driving with me telling me all about the truck along with reading materials and online research to ensure me this truck would be powerful enough to pull my 5th Wheel. He even drove out to my house to check out the 5th wheel to read its capacities along with jumping the trade car and driving that back into town. I was really on the fence and requested that I get yet another opinion of the trucks ability to pull the 5th Wheel. He went out of his way with more patience than Joab to allow me to come to the decision that this would be a sound purchase. Ruben was extremely knowledge able and that definitely helped me. The next day, I drove my new truck to Mt. Bachelor put it in 4x4 and felt so safe.The truck was immaculate. Each individual I worked with me was very personable and extremely helpful. I would recommend Auto Max USA to anyone who is looking for a vehicle. IVery, very pleased.

We recently bought a truck from this dealership a couple months ago. This would be the second time I have purchased a vehicle from auto max. However this time, our salesman’s fiancé messaged both my girlfriend and I and called our phones harassing us and calling both of us names. This is all because she thought her fiancé (salesman) was cheating on her with my girlfriend. This went on for about 1.5 weeks every single day before we both finally blocked both of them on social media and phone numbers. Horrible experience.

Pleasant experience at first. Get more into my time here and some sketchy things were taking place. Doing some finance options and the salesman asks for my debit card (my down payment method) just so he can show them I’m serious. Me not liking the finance options I make a choice to leave. The salesman tells me go and get some lunch and come back with some paperwork (pay stubs from previous job). He never gave me back my debit card. I told him, hey I need my card. He said “oh they’re gonna hang onto it, that way they know you’re coming back”. Yeah, no. That’s when I knew this was not the place to go for me. That and the salesman telling me in the beginning that he’s a no pressure kinda guy. But the dude wouldn’t take no for answer! Extremely uncomfortable experience.

I had one of the best experiences here. They are willing to work with you, to get the car you want. Jose, knows what he is doing. I would recommend him for any 1st 2nd or even 3rd time buyer. I love my new vehicle thank you guys!

Originally came in for a truck advertised 90k miles for $17000. I show up it has over 120k miles still advertised at $17000. I explained that wasnt right and that they should drop the price. He ignores me and shows me another rig. I try to tell the boss and the salesman had already changed the ad. Got the run around for 2hrs. Didnt purchase a vehicle. Kept getting texts about different vehicles, told them several times to stop messaging me. They became the typical pushy car lot trying to pressure you to sign up for some expensive high mileage vehicle. Finally had to call up the manager to tell them to stop blowing my phone up. Dont waist your time, there are plenty of other car lots. Very shady practices.

Quality inventory, affordable pricing. Staff is super friendly and no pressure. Highly recommend stopping here before you look for a pre owned vehicle anywhere else in Yakima.

Worst experience I have ever had Nothing but problems with the car we bought bought a platinum warranty they still would not fix said it had to fully fail meaning car not to run at all for them to fix even though wasnt running right so many problems with car even with warranty had to pay and fix everything out of my own pocket.the salesman will lie and tell you whatever you want to hear to sell a car.i I could give a negative five star rating I would..I would say run as far away from place as possible .Mid-Vally Chrysler, Ford or Toyota would be best for yakima area .Please save your time Money and a Headache and go somewhere else

Definitely never buying there again

He ripped me off for over $2,200.00. Be sure the car you buy here is paid for as it looks to me like this car lot doesnt pay their bills. Crooked Company and Crooked Owner... Beware off this lot as my experience was horrible. I have also read some bad reviews elsewhere about this dealer but much too late. Also, did some work for this company and to my surprise the owner took advantage of me and didnt pay me and my help for the work. He said also said he would pay his marketing bill several times and had me send him his invoice 7 times and he never responded with his payment.
