These guys took great care of my Crown Vic! They got the brakes done fast despite being down a person, did a full inspection of the rest of the car which was clear and easy to understand (they sent a link that went over every part of the car along with photos of any issues, every shop should do that honestly), and Tom was honest regarding what was urgent and what could probably wait until the next visit.Very good people who did very clean work, and very easy to get along with, even threw in a goodie bag to boot. Taking my first car here was a good choice, appreciate the work you did! 👍

I recently took my 2006 Nissan Xterra in for catalytic converter replacement. I had been quoted 6,000 at another shop which is crazy. Act Now did 2 Cats, replaced brake fluid and replaced a gasket in the throttle body for half of that other shop for just the cats. They perform a health inspection of your vehicle and text it to you with anything they find. I will be taking all vehicle needs. Highly recommend to anyone in Yakima.

While pulling our trailer,, the wife and I broke down just outside of Yakima.Our first conversation with ActNow, they were genuinely concerned about our safety and if we needed help trying to find a place to stay for the evening. Flushed my transmission fluid which was in a desperate need of being changed, and overall I was very happy with Actnow. Tom helped me out and he was a really cool guy.

I took my f150 5.0 to ActNow for an oil leak. They were able to get me in and diagnose the problem very quickly. In my case I was given multiple options for the repair. On the surface it appeared to be the oil pan gasket that was leaking. I was given an approximate quote for this repair but also was given the option to service a common problem with the 5.0 of the rear main seal. This was a more invasive repair requiring the trans to come out and was a bit more expensive. In the end i chose to just get the oil pan gasket replaced at this time in hopes the rear main was not leaking. Actnow was very helpful no pressure on my choice and completed the repair quickly and to my surprise cheaper then expected. It appears i made the right choice a full day of driving around and not a single drop of oil. Ill definitely have my future repairs done here.

I was impressed with the professionalism and the communication backto me during the process. There were no surprises and I had the options ahead of time to approve the work items listed. The price was reasonable and Tom made the process clear. The office and shop were orderly and organized. I had work done on a VW TDI and they accomplished the work on an agreed timeframe. I would recommend them and will return in the future.

Very very disappointed in the service, went in for coil, spark plugs and wires changed, over 600$$ and it started running rough and overheating, I pulled a plug it was set at 62 !!! Same as the rest !!! Factory settings clearly states to set the gap at 50....you didnt set the gap prior to insertion into my engine!! I called to complain and he says he can fix it in 2 months ... really did I wait 2 months to pay you for your shabby work!!! No. BBB will be notified, rip off ........ good luck in the future. And the missing bolts. Thief

Had a great experience with Actnow. I had put off getting my Mercedes repaired for years cause I feared what the cost would be. These guys figured out everything that was wrong and explained what needed to be done. There was no pressure from them to get all the things fixed and the price was really good considering everything they did. I would definitely recommend them and would have them work on my car in the future.

These guys are everything you want in a mechanic! I was on a road trip and going over alot of mountains and I stopped here because my car was given me some trouble. Had a code throwing my car into limp mode so I called everyone in town no one would see me for a couple days, act now got me in the next morning! Finally a trustworthy shop in Yakima! I called around to get quotes and found these guys were right in the middle of the range. They were able to get me in the next day, and the total cost came in under the quote. Instead of trying to upsell me, they told me I could get away with not replacing other parts for a while, unless it became more of an issue. Its been refreshing to work with an honest mechanic after my previous interactions with local shops. ActNow is definitely the only place Ill be taking my car from now on.

I usually don’t go to mechanics. Always feel like I am about to get ripped off. Tom took my vehicle in for repair when others told me a week to fix. A box truck full of tools so no lift to work on rear axle. These guys are the best! I called them to see what it would cost to get my power steering flush done; not only did they come in $50 cheaper than the place before, but they were able to get me in that day. I also told them I was getting ready to sell the car I was bringing in and they offered to do a digital inspection for me with the service. They inspected the car, took pictures and gave descriptions of what needed to be done and when, then sent me a link so Id have a copy to easily forward to potential buyers - It was beyond helpful! Act Now had suggested we wait to get the oil changed in our MINNIE WINNIE RV until spring when we put it back on the road. They also found other needed maintenance on the 2001 engine which was quickly completed. We have been very pleased with all the work they have done on our older RV.

Ive been taking both personal and work vehicles here for a couple of years now. The work done has been from pre-purchase inspections (which a weblink of the electronic copies can be sent directly to your phone), to glow plugs on diesels, to major repairs. Ive always been happy with the service Ive received as well as their honesty and opinion. They are friendly and thorough.Vehicles Ive taken there ranged from a European SUV, domestic pickups and even larger vehicles like Ford F-550s.In the past Ive hated taking vehicles to automotive shops because I just didnt have a good feeling about them and didnt know if I was getting put through the wringer. I’ve had my Jeep worked on a couple of times here for different issues that have been resolved each time. My recent issue left me with little power, so in a bind I knew where to take my Jeep. The shop had a packed schedule but was still able to work on my situation inbetween other services. And with their handy diagnostic I was also able to get some other things taken care of to save me an additional trip. Now it feels like I’m driving a new machine.
