The baby yarn that I was looking for was there in several colors and discount ptices. Pleasant interaction with the cashier. I was able to purchase what I needed today. I am really happy to get the yarn to do my blanket sets.

Im never impressed coming to Joanns. Unless its on sale, its not really a good price. The last time I came in, I made sure I had a coupon downloaded onto my phone yet when I got up to the cashier...alas, my phone was in the car. The cashier wouldnt even scan the coupon that SHE had...instead, she said I could go out to my car and get my own coupon. With a line of customers waiting around the corner to check out and one cashier, I simply paid full price. Michaels and Hobby Lobby are always great about helping with coupons. They also had a HUGE summer decor selection that was on sale yet it was buy ONE get 2 FREE which sounds like an awesome deal until you see how overpriced the items are to begin with. Why not just mark it all down and go with it!?! This place has always been my last resort and now its not even on my list anymore.

The place is nicely organizated and clean. They have lots of fabrics and sewing supplies, tools and the like. They also have other crafting items and books. They even have some items that are related to cooking/baking. The foam here is a bit pricy though. The staff was nice, when I asked for helped they had no problem assisting me. If I ever need more crafting items I know where to go. :)

My go-to craft store in Yakima. A huge selection of fun fabrics, plus nifty fresh decorative items for the home. Best of all is the warm, helpful, and welcoming staff.

The Yakima store is always well stocked and the people working there are always friendly. They could be used as standard for other JoAnn stores.

I had recently just went to the Jo-Ann Fabrics store in Yakima, Washington and I was attended very poorly by a cashier. She was very rude and when I went to ask her a question as to if she had accidentally charged me more and she replied back very disrespectfully. And she counted my stuff like if I couldn’t count it myself like if I was five years old and didn’t understand. Very rude, bad attitude and overall I don’t appreciate the fact that she didn’t even bother to put my stuff back into my bag, I had to do that myself. In conclusion, I prefer not to shop for my fabrics at Jo-Ann while that woman is still working there. She had glasses, dark hair and bangs.

Super amazing checker she found me in-store coupons and got my purchase down half of what it was going to be I love this store anyway and she just made me love it more

Went here the other day sense they were having a planner sale for happy planner. Love the selection for their happy planner products my only wish is that the store wasnt so crowded and the clearance was poorly organized. Also if you dont know where things are then youll struggle finding what you want sense the isles arent labeled the best.

Its a smaller Joanns but its nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. But if you are a Joanns shopper you know that you have to use their coupons or you pay double the value. When you use the coupons the price is what you will pay as a regular price in other stores. Seems to me that it would be better to price the inventory at a reasonable price in the first place. Then they would be the best place for your crafts and sewing projects.

The fabrics are amazing and I do tons of crafts and this store helps!

The ladies that work there are so kind and helpful. One of the employees spent like 15 minutes with me explaining how to do a specific sewing project I was working on. Im a beginner in sewing so she made it so much less intimidating for me. I will definitely shop there again soon.

Joanns was fast and communicable when picking up my site to store order. Even on black Friday my order was brought out immediately following checking in.

Joannes, for a crafter, is like going to Disneyland...so much to see, not enough time. Even if I think Ill just run in and out for a specific item, Im immediately drawn in to wander the isles captivated by the immense inventory of products. Sales people are well trained and on the ball ready to help. Prices VERY reasonable. Store is clean and organized. Check out swift...when you finally get there!

Some of the employees are grouchy and rude no matter when you go in. But there are some great ones. During clearance the prices are not correct in the register and the cashiers always want to argue about it and say that thats the right price. But Joanns is great they have tons of fabric to choose from and a large clearance section.

Didnt have the color of yarn I wanted but still has pretty good selection

I understand everyone is tired and overworked but that does not exempt you from being kind. When I have $400 pending in my account over cancelled orders due to incorrect inventory counts I have every right to call and ask about it when shopping in store. The older ladies need a lesson on customer service because chiming into another associates and mine conversation because she recognized my last name to be rude because she is annoyed is not okay. Also did not appreciate her making fun of it either.

The sales staff is great. If they dont have the item in stock they help you find it at another store. Which is super helpful. They always ask what Im working on next.

Staff is working hard to make the store a safe place to shop. Masks required, social distancing & limited number of shoppers in the store at a time. They are working hard to get the stock of fabrics replenished.

This is a great source for a range of products from everything sewing related to even crafting and upholstery. They have a wide selection of fabrics with even more online. The only real caveat is that you should be prepared to ask for help because you are unlikely to be approached by staff. If you use the app you can usually take advantage of some great discounted pricing.

I give them 5 stars. I have been going their for years. The salespeople are so nice and helpful. They have a good selection of material, yarn, etc. The price is right and they send out flyers with reduced prices. They are actually cheaper than Walmart.

I was told they would check the cameras to see if my money was stolen and they would call me back. I never got a call back and when I called and asked about it the manager said, This is the first Ive heard about it. She was pretty rude about it when all I wanted to know was if my money was stolen in the store or not. How dare I ask about my money, apparently.

JOANN Fabrics is a great place for crafts supplies.

Normally there is decent customer service there, but this last visit an older woman named Sarah was very impatient with me when I had a question about a product. I remained polite with her the entire time, but she acted as if I was a nuisance. I felt pretty discouraged and still unsure what to buy, so I just walked out.

Nice variety of products. Not handicapped friendly. No electric scooters or other handicapped devices. Aisles are nice size & easily navigated with walker

Over crowded this time of year. That is to be expected I suppose. What got me was the huge line at check out. Three clerks working it. All three moving slow. One of the stopped to have a long conversation with a customer. Still not bad for a craft store. Worth checking out.

When it comes to fabrics, no one has more variety than Joanns. For the rest of the crafting sections, other places may have more variety but its likely youll find what you need. Also, the employees are generally more knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to sewing and crafting. I gave 5 stars for that and for how our cashier helped us save over $15 by helping us get a coupon by texting. Yay!

Joanns is a crafting and sewing staple in the Yakima valley. The have the largest selection of fabrics in town and the also have a robust craft selection. Unfortunately, it isnt near as large as some of the more dedicated crafting stores. Make sure you sign up for their coupons, they can save you a ton!

I go to joannes on an average of once a week. I love shopping there the store is always clean well organized and the staff is always helpful and friendly. We talk like friends about my current project and theirs. I can tell you if you want a great shopping experience you will not be let down.

Joanns are great good selection and sales. I was a little put off by the fabric cutting lady. I was trying to clarify the confusing sale that was going on she was kinda snippy about answering questions. When I asked to see the 20 dollar a yard fabric again to hold it up for tough measurements she seemed annoyed I only needed a few inches width when I said about 8 inches she looked at me like I had to be kidding, rather than saying 9 is an easier yardage measurement. I got the fabric but hope to not run into her again.

Excellent service

Im NOT a crafter or sewer type person. I needed a buckle for my overalls. The person at the help desk / cut fabric area was a bit soft with me when asking for help. Did not make me feel welcome. Helped me - but it seemed like I was problem person to her. My wife LOVES this store. Ill let her go next time.

This is a smaller store, so it doesnt have as big of a selection and some of the larger stores, but the service is great and the staff is very knowledgeable.

I really enjoy shopping here. They tend to always have what I need, and they have always been able to help me. Thats not easy to do.
